Beyond exceptional. The campground is the best hidden gem in all the KOAs we have ever been. From the owner to the staff, to the ammenities for the kids to enjoy. This should be the flagship model of how KOAs are managed and kept!!

The air conditioner and the internet did not work in my cabin. When I told the owner about the problems the next day when the office reopened he apologized, but was unwilling to refund any money for the faulty air conditioning or challenging internet because I did not tell him while the office was closed.

Great little campground! Lots of stuff to keep kids busy. Exceptionally clean in all aspects. Helpful staff. Truly a gem. Will definitely be back.

The only downsides to this campground are the weak cell service for Verizon & AT&T and the campground’s WiFi that becomes so slow at times that you cannot connect to it. This seems to occur around 6:00 PM and continues throughout the evening.

loved being so entrenched in the trees without having trees in the way to park our camper. Staff was very friendly, would love to stay again.

Beautiful camping ground. The campsite was great with lots of shade. If you wanted sun, there are plenty of sun areas. There are numerous things for children to play on and run around just being kids. Nice clean pool. The camp store was well stocked. The employees of the campground were the most helpful and friendly staff I have come across in a long time. I want to go back in the fall.

This KOA is one of the cleanest I’ve stayed at so far. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the bathrooms. We will be returning in the future.

Just stopped in for the one night while on a motorcycle trip. Staff was some of the most friendly I have come across in a long time. Definitely would stop again when running through that area.

Beautiful campground with great access to the Natural Bridge & other sights, but I found the layout confusing. Even with a map of the grounds, at first it was hard to figure out how to get out of the campground and how to return to your site. It was also a bit too narrow and twisty-turny for my taste (and for my 40-foot fiver). I’m sure a more experienced camper wouldn’t have an issue though :

Beautiful campground In a great location. The camp hosts were great, really took care of the grounds and the guests. Plenty of space to walk the dogs or let them run free in the K9 Camp. Sites were large with plenty of space between neighbors.

Campground was very clean and well maintained. Our site was nice and spacious with a well placed fire ring. The playground and jumping pad was fun for my kids and the mobile arcade activity was also a hit!

Staff was great! Everything was clean and tidy. Lots of fun stuff for the kiddos and great scenery within miles of the campground! This was a girl's only trip but definitely plan to go back with the whole family!

This is the second year we have stayed at this campground. We had 10 adults and six kids 6 and under. 2 campsites and three cabins. Fun was had by all. Staff is the best. Quiet, clean campground. Children's activities were very organized and appreciated. The mining is one of the highlights the kids love. Very, very well run facility. Will be returning next year!

Great stay overall and fantastic customer service! The team called me a day after my departure and let me know that I forgot my surge protector at the Camp Site. They shipped it to my house and it arrived the very next day! Thank you Team KOA!

No complaints here. Our trip was very nice. The Host was very nice and friendly. Cabin was clean. Bathrooms were clean. We will definitely be back.

One of the best KOAs campground that I have stayed in. The RV spots are spacious, large and well thought out. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Bathrooms were very clean with plenty of hot water. Laundry room was always available. The proximity to the entrance of the Parkway was wonderful along with the Natural Bridge State Park. Numerous activities in the KOA to keep children happy.

Stayed 1 night for a rest and "re-group' during our trip along Blue Ridge Parkway. Very organized and prepared for our arrival. Clean restrooms, although we had full hookup at our disposal. A camp store with limited supplies, a playground, and in ground pool to enjoy. Would recommend.

This Campground is beautiful & well taken care of. The people working were exceptionally friendly & helpful. We loved that you took the time to think about the little things (among others) such as putting the nearby animal Hospital on KOA map. We had an emergency with one of our pets while we were camping in another state & we had a very difficult time finding her help. Every camp should provide,

Everyone was friendly and so accommodating. Met a lot of nice people. I stayed in cabin 6 and it was a great cabin nice & clean. My granddaughters loved the loft.

This was our first time staying at a KOA, and I hope they are all this great! We booked a tent site, which was situated right next to the fishing pond. The site had water, electricity, and a tent pad to setup. The staff was extremely nice both at check-in and during our stay, bringing us firewood and making sure everything was good. My only notes are that the bathroom facilities are up a hill from the tent sites and a little trek... plus the tents are close to the road so the traffic noise can be a bit much. Overall, a great location, great employees, and great facility. If we make it back to this area, I would definitely stay here again.
