Very nice place to stay! Nice big dog park. Just a step away from Blue ridge parkway Quiet. From I 81 exit at 175 and just take it easy going up the hill! Not difficult at all! Just a bit steep but very doable!

We were there right after Labor Day. Campground was nearly empty and very quiet. Staff was friendly.

The road leading to this park is very twisty but we managed easily with 30-foot MH and toad. The park is clean and well-maintained. We were greeted at the gate and checked in quickly. The gravel site was long and level with many amenities. The staff was always available and helpful. The wi-fi was good here too.

Sarah, Tony, Stephanie, and the workers were very family like and friendly. They were so kind and helpful. I really miss their company because they treated us like family. I love this place!

Probably the cleanest campground I have stayed at ever. the bathrooms were essentially spotless. The grounds were very well maintained.This is also one of the quietest campgrounds I have had the opportunity to visit.

The staff was super friendly and welcoming! The campground had plenty of activities for our kids and plenty to do to keep us busy! The atmosphere at the campground is super friendly and peaceful!

All staff were outstanding! Entire campground, including bathrooms and pool, were neat and very clean. It was evident that staff cared about their campground and the people who camped there.

Friendly staff and clean facilities. I would stay there again.It wasn’t real busy in end of August so not a lot of campers which made it more private. We did have a campsite facing the woods though.

Beautiful park, friendly owners, quiet. Two things that were negatives is the # of dogs unleashed and how many pet owners did not pick up their dog’s mess.

We were surprised by the low occupancy of the campground for mid-Aug. Our only complaint is that the campground advertises a "dog park", while what they had was a dog walk area. A dog park implies a fenced in area.

We've stayed here twice. Very clean campground. Spacious campsites. Wi-Fi was excellent. Bath House was clean and sanitary. Camp Hosts and Staff were very friendly and checked in on us several times. Pool was clean and large. Cable TV was ok in upper channels, but lower channels were really very distorted---may want to check in on that system. I highly recommend this campground!

I’ve been a guest at this campground for at least the last six years. I will not stay at this campground again if the gentleman who manages the campground, I think his name is Tony is still employed there. Large campsites & nice camp store. There needs to be lights especially around the dog walk areas. The restrooms were clean. Spray for gnats!

Really convenient. Clean bathrooms, great location. The tent sites are close to the road so there is noise all night in those sites.

Gorgeous area off the Blue Ridge Parkway, clean and very well maintained with a polite staff! Lots to do in the campground itself! High recommend and we will be back as well!

This stay was magnificent. The grounds were well-maintained. The staff was very friendly, inviting, and helpful. The bathrooms and showers provided were very clean. We stayed in B10 and it was wonderful. Beautiful KOA. Large sites and laid out so well. Spotless. Private bathrooms and showers. Small hiking trail. Large dog yard. Right off mile 62 on Blue Ridge Parkway so we could hop on and do a great hike. Highly recommend.

This is a very nice KOA Campground! All of the sites offer plenty of room with ample space. The owners are fantastic! The playground is awesome for the kids and the dog park is a nice plus for your furry friends! The location couldn't be any better. Only a 5 minute drive to the parkway and a 30 minute drive to the university. We will definitely be back.

Very well-kept campground. Bathrooms/showers were clean and well furnished. The campground itself was very well manicured and has been maintained perfectly. The WIFI was pretty good too. Definitely will be staying here again. Update 05/07/2026 Another great stay at this KOA the past seven days. It was exactly as it was the last time I stayed here. The campground is always in great condition, the campsites roomy and the staff was courteous, friendly and very helpful. My wife and I were able to hike quite a few miles on the Appalachian Trail as there are several trailheads close by. Glad I stayed here again and look forward to staying there in the future.
