During set up got stung by wasp in electrical box. Told owner and the nest was removed and hole capped right away. The campground is quiet and well maintained. The pool was clean. This is a great place to camp and relax. My issues are low water pressure and a bit pricey for this campground.

Very nice classic country KOA. Super friendly staff does a great job maintaining the sites. You can't ask for a better location if you're looking for a stop while driving the Blue Ridge.

This has been my second time here and as expected we were greeted by the owner in the office. She makes us feel welcomed each time by being personable. The campground is very clean and well laid out with many things available to enjoy or just relax. Nestled in the woods allowed us to unwind and forget the day to day grind. We enjoyed our stay and will certainly come your way again in the future. Gary and his wife were excellent hosts, checking us in and getting us to our site. The pool was clean and refreshing. The restrooms were very clean. I enjoyed the pond and catching some bass and crappie.

Very accommodating. We asked to upgrade our cabin and was able to do so without any problems. Cabin was very clean as well as the pool. The check-in was very quick

Super friendly and helpful staff. Camping as it should be surrounded by nature, a relaxing pool and fishing pond. Large dog park. Close to blue ridge parkway. Guest services will deliver ice & firewood to your site. Can’t wait to return.

Stayed in a camping cabin with a 'little more elbow room inside'. Loved having the extra space to store stuff and spread out inside. Cabin was clean, facility was really nice along with the staff. We love when a KOA has individual bathrooms, unfortunately they usually get pretty stuffy and hot inside, but it was manageable. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay! The staff was so kind and upgrading from a tent site to a cabin was easy! The campground is clean, the pool was lovely, and restrooms kept well. Lots of trees and shade too. Thank you

We loved the campground, it had nice clean facilities & an excellent pool. The only problem was a large group came in Friday renting 3-4 of the cabins. They were partying and had a hoard of screaming kids well past 11pm. We let the office know about it the next morning but they were at it again Saturday night. At 10:30 I finally closed all of our windows and turned on our AC so we could sleep.

The campground was nice and clean and the site was good sized. The only complaint is no ants the whole time we were there. Then a rainstorm came thru the night before we left and the next morning there were ants in our camper.

This is a very nice park and all of the employees and owners are polite and helpful. I would recommend this KOA to everyone. We will be back to spend more time here.

The cabin was really nice! It was like camping, but with air conditioning, and some other helpful conveniences. The people there were super friendly and eager to help! They also have a variety of outdoor activities, so it's a great place for kids! We would definitely stay there again, if we're in the area!

Staff is super helpful & friendly - love the interactions especially with my 11 year old. Love the personal touches the campground provides with picking up the trash & delivering it to the sites. Even when campground was full, still didn't feel cramped or too close to other campers. It is definitely our favorite KOA

Campground is very well maintained. Host hospitality / staff was the best ! Campground very nicely laid out and easy to maneuver our 37 foot 5th wheel. Site B04, pull thru puts you near swimming pool/dog park and near main office. Area outside Campground rich in beauty and history. We'll be returning again soon!!!

Nice facilities, staff was very friendly and helpful. The sites are laid out to maximize usage of space. The walking trail through the woods was enjoyable. This location was very convenient for our first stop heading north from Wake Forest NC.

We were in town for a birthday party so didn’t spend a ton of time at the campground but noticed all of the amazing amenities like the pool, jumpy pad, air hockey, etc… Bathrooms were clean and private which was nice. Would definitely stay again if I’m ever in town. We were tent campers and the sites by the lake were beautiful.

Really nice KOA. Our GPS routed our big rig over a winding mountain road on the way in, which was a little intimidating and not a route I would normally choose. Fortunately, there was an easier way out. Once we arrived, the campground was beautiful, well maintained, and definitely worth the trip. We'd gladly stay here again now that we know the better route.

This is our fifth or sixth camping stay here. We make a plan to schedule the year before as we enjoy it so much. Smaller campgrounds with plenty of space between camp sites. The staff is mostly family with a few seasonal assistants. All are extremely friendly and helpful. Bathroom and grounds extremely clean. Fishing pond with bass and sun fish is excellent fishing for the kids or grands.

The campground is conveniently located just off the Blue Ridge Parkway, making it a great home base after a day of exploring and hiking. We were warmly greeted and escorted to our site. The campground also has a catch-and-release fishing pond, where we spotted three good-sized bass swimming around. A nice little bonus for anyone who enjoys being outdoors! The bathhouses were clean, and best of all, the showers had plenty of hot water — something you really appreciate after a long day on the trails! Friendly hospitality, a well-maintained campground, and a convenient location. We'd happily stay here again.

Spent the weekend with my family unfortunately my car got stuck in a ditch and the owner came to our site and got the car unstuck with no damage yo our vehicle. Excellent service will definitely be back

My family and I stayed for the weekend and unfortunately my car got stuck in a ditch, the owner arrived at our site and was able to get my car unstuck with no damage to my vehicle above and beyond service will definitely be back. Bathhouses were clean staff is friendly and there are activities for children.
