This is the CLEANEST KOA I’ve ever stayed at ever! The staff were so incredibly friendly and were so kind and helpful. This was the first time I’ve taken my husband tent camping since he lost most of his eyesight, but I wasn’t worried anymore when I met the staff. We’ll definitely be back!

We stayed at this KOA in Monroe county to attend a wedding. During our stay friends stopped by to pick us up, they visited about an hour and we headed to the wedding, we were charged $20($5 per person) and told no visitors were allowed after 9pm. We returned about 1130pm to be dropped off and the camp host made a point of walking by to ensure no one stayed. We are quite campers, we will not return

This campground is clean with the sites being very spacious. Hubby even went fishing at the campground pond and caught a fish. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Will come back for sure!

Stopped for a 2 night stay and ended up leaving after the 1st.. No grass near the Rv sites, no one available after 6pm to get firewood from so thankfully our neighbor sold us a bundle of their wood. The gem mine wasn’t up & running and the jump pad was deflated and locked up. The shop was very small. The bathrooms were clean though which was a plus!

Just campsite area has a lot of potential. Beautiful area nice trees all through the campground The only thing they should improve on is a water runoff running across campsites destroying roads and landscape areas.

Lovely setting, rock on both roads and campsites made the layout a little challenging. We were unable to level in our originally assigned site, the camp worker tried for half an hour to make it work. Eventually they gave us another site - wish they had done that earlier. Long day. The bathrooms were clean

Had a great weekend. Campground is great. Tony helped us get parked and stopped by several times to see if we needed anything. Really enjoyed getting to know him. He even helped us prank our daughter. Def recommend this campground.

This was one of the best kept KOA's we have stayed. The staff was super friendly, the sites and campgrounds were all clean, and it was close enough to all activities we did. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.

The staff are very accommodating and very friendly! Great place second time i've been there! I had my truck and closed and trailer With 2 motorcycles. Perfect place if you want to do the Skyline drive or the Blue ridge parkway! Or any of the other great motorcycle roads and trails around!

From the moment we arrived to the time we left our stay was perfect. We were welcomed by Tony and Sara and they made coming in off the road welcoming and if we were family. Our location for our family gathering could not have been better. The campground is maintained beautifully with amenities for all ages and interests. Our family group is looking to vacation here again next year.

First time staying at this KOA. This was a very nice campground. Well maintained. . Nice friendly staff. Greeted you upon arrival. Our site was a premium full hook-up pull through.

My 15 year old daughter & I stayed here for the night as my daughter plays softball & had events at both liberty & lyncburg university, I had come in to some tough times & just could not afford a hotel so we had originally had a tent site, upon arrival my daughter was not happy with a tent site so we ended up getting a small cabin which was affordable we absolutely loved this place. Will come back

This is a very nice KOA Campground! All of the sites offer plenty of room with ample space. The owners are fantastic! The playground is awesome for the kids and the dog park is a nice plus for your furry friends! The location couldn't be any better. Only a 5 minute drive to the parkway and a 30 minute drive to the university. We will definitely be back.

Very well-kept campground. Bathrooms/showers were clean and well furnished. The campground itself was very well manicured and has been maintained perfectly. The WIFI was pretty good too. Definitely will be staying here again. Update 05/07/2026 Another great stay at this KOA the past seven days. It was exactly as it was the last time I stayed here. The campground is always in great condition, the campsites roomy and the staff was courteous, friendly and very helpful. My wife and I were able to hike quite a few miles on the Appalachian Trail as there are several trailheads close by. Glad I stayed here again and look forward to staying there in the future.
