We love camping here. It’s not that big of a campground but the location right off the blue ridge parkway is nice. Definitely away from any town or shopping. The new exit from the back campsites toward the office around the premium sites is a little too tight of a turn for large 5th wheel

Love smaller, quite, less crowded campgrounds. This fit the bill with one exception. From the moment we checked in, for 2 hours one of the staff walked around with a leaf blower, creating that irritating leaf blower noise while all I wanted to do was sit down among the trees and nature and relax after my drive. Then, it started up again at 9am the next morning for another 2 hours.

We very much enjoyed our stay and look forward to camping there in the future. The location was great and close to everything we wanted to do. Our site was perfect and the staff was friendly.

It's our 2nd time here. The folks who work there are friendly and helpful, so much for kids to do-they were never bored. We trick or treated and had a blast!!! We had cabin 6 down by the pond and the kids loved the loft. It was quiet, beautiful, and lots of room to play. We will be back to eventually get to use pool. Both times we've been in October and November. Weather and leaves were beautiful.

Camping with a tent by the pond was absolutely perfect, the crisp fall weather in concert with the colors and smells of autumn � . I just needed a bugling elk at dusk and I would have bought the place

We had a great stay! Park was clean as usual, in great shape. The park attendants were super nice and friendly. Dog park was nice for our puppy. Bathhouses were clean and stocked. Our site was almost 100% level. We really like this park.

Very nice, clean and quiet campground. The site we had was very level and they had gone the extra mile to clear the leaves off the site. Lots of activities for the kids. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming.

Always good to stay at the Lynchburg/Blue Ridge Parkway KOA! We are always in & out as we stay to visit our Liberty University student. We are looking forward to visiting at a time when we can hang out longer!

Lynchburg/Blue Ridge Parkway KOA is one of our favorite campgrounds. As soon as you drive onto the property staff is waiting to direct you with an escort to your site. They are always friendly and inviting. We never have to worry about our kids here as the campground is safe and has lots of things for them to do. We love how clean the bath houses are and located throughout the campground.

Very pristine and beautiful KOA nestled in the Blue Ridge mountains. Staff was wonderful. Chuck led us to our assigned pull through site and was very helpful. We are from NC and would go out of our way to stay again.

The campground is nice, clean and the workers are very friendly and helpful. But amenities like grocery stores etc are almost 1/2 hour away.

Nice lot. Ample grass area behind our spot for our fav. Nice staff and bath house. Lots of activities for kids and nice and quiet for adults.

The trip in from 81 is a little twisty, but we did it in a 30 ft motor home with a tow vehicle. Just take your time. We left by going into Lynchburg and getting on 29, much better! The trail needs some marking, but I enjoyed it and so did the dog.

This is by far our favorite campground. It’s always quiet and relaxing. There also plenty to do in the area. Hiking in the Blue Ridge Parkway, Natural Bridge, Natural Bridge Caverns, Woodruff’s Pie’s, downtown Lynchburg, orchards and so much more. This is a must stop destination.

Nice park. A bit tight in areas, slow and careful. Few tress need trimming. Water pressure is a bit low 40 psi. Overall a nice stay and very peaceful. Staff are professional and very nice.

Friendly office. Very accommodating getting us in when we were running from the storm in the Atlantic. Lots of gravel…a handful of concrete patios.

The sites were huge and level! Wooded campgrounds and beautiful. The workers were friendly. I would stay again when in the area.

This is a very nice KOA Campground! All of the sites offer plenty of room with ample space. The owners are fantastic! The playground is awesome for the kids and the dog park is a nice plus for your furry friends! The location couldn't be any better. Only a 5 minute drive to the parkway and a 30 minute drive to the university. We will definitely be back.

Very well-kept campground. Bathrooms/showers were clean and well furnished. The campground itself was very well manicured and has been maintained perfectly. The WIFI was pretty good too. Definitely will be staying here again. Update 05/07/2026 Another great stay at this KOA the past seven days. It was exactly as it was the last time I stayed here. The campground is always in great condition, the campsites roomy and the staff was courteous, friendly and very helpful. My wife and I were able to hike quite a few miles on the Appalachian Trail as there are several trailheads close by. Glad I stayed here again and look forward to staying there in the future.
