Although the staff was wondeful and tried to be helpful, I/they could not get the cable to work because of a DISH digital upgrade the day I arrived which prevented me from watching my favorite TV shows. Campgrounds that offer cable simply require the cable to be connected at both ends with no additional effort. Very disappointing.

This is a terrific campground in the middle of gorgeous mountains. The staff were very pleasant. The sites were a good size with plenty of room for big rigs. They are located a good distance from stores, restaurants, etc. but the drive to town is easy and worth the stay in the mountains. We didn't use many amenities but they were available. I definitely recommend a stay at this campground

We have stayed here multiple times, just a great location to reach out and do things on the Blue Ridge Parkway as well as Lynchburg.

We loved this KOA! Friendly folks, well organized, and clean. We attended some events at Liberty and definitely plan on staying here again for other events.

Loved the friendly hospitality and amenities available at this campground. The bath houses were kept clean and many shady campsites available.

Wonderful Easter weekend at one of our favorite campgrounds. Phil and Stephanie take great pride in their work and in the appearance of the grounds. We always enjoy our stays here and will keep coming back.

The Lynchburg KOA was a beautiful oasis. It was a cozy campground nestled in tbe hills by the Blue Ridge Parkway. It was quiet and serene. The folks were friendly, helpful and accommodating. The area was clean and very well kept. We cannot wait to return.

Very nice, quiet and well maintained campground. The staff are friendly and helpful. Dog friendly with a fenced dog park and level trails around a pond.

Everyone greeted us; was very nice and clean. The grounds were well maintained. It was also very quiet, they would tell us if you need anything to let them know. They went above and beyond! Would go out of my way to stay here again! Thank you

It was peaceful and quiet..I had a Emotional Support Dog with me but never been charged at this kOA for his stay and I was charged $20 extra.this time I stayed in a cabin.

We had a wonderful time. The campground was super nice and clean. Everyone that worked there were extra nice and helpful. We most definitly will stay there again!

Every element of my stay met 'full marks' standards -- setting, service, courtesy, cleanliness, facilities -- KOA Lynchburg-Parkway has become one of my all-time favorite campgrounds in Virginia. We will no doubt return, and soon.

Unfortunately, we were just passing through and only were able to spend a night at this campground however what a beautiful well kept campground. We booked after hours and arrived at 9 PM or so and they were waiting for us and gave us an escort right to our campsite which was very nice to have in the dark!

It’s our favorite place to getaway to - staff is always so friendly. The campground layout isn’t too packed even on holidays. It’s the standard we compare other KOA campsites to.

All the staff is very friendly and helpful. They maintain this campground very well. The sites are located in a beautiful wooded area and they remove ALL the leaves . They have a shelter where foosball and other games are located. The fishing pond is something our grandkids really enjoyed. We recommend this KOA to everyone we see.

We loved staying in one of the cabins here! We went in late November, and the site was very quiet. The cabin was the perfect size with a small fridge, microwave, keurig, and tv. Both the cabin and the bathrooms were very clean and nice. Everything went according to plan - couldnt have asked for a better place for a weekend stay!

Nice place - we have stayed here about 6 times the past 2 years and it has always been a great experience. Staff is super helpful and are always around keeping things in order. I have never seen a piece of trash on the ground and nothing is run down looking like some KOAs across the country. Love this place

This was a quick stay for us but Tony and Sarah were wonderful and kind. The campground was spacious and the kids loved the jump pad. Our only struggle was it was a little challenging to maneuver around rocks and trees with our large rig.

They don’t follow there quite time. We were put next to long term campers and they were loud until 11:30 -12:00 pm. Short term campers should not be put near long term campers!

The sites were huge and level! Wooded campgrounds and beautiful. The workers were friendly. I would stay again when in the area.

This is a very nice KOA Campground! All of the sites offer plenty of room with ample space. The owners are fantastic! The playground is awesome for the kids and the dog park is a nice plus for your furry friends! The location couldn't be any better. Only a 5 minute drive to the parkway and a 30 minute drive to the university. We will definitely be back.

Very well-kept campground. Bathrooms/showers were clean and well furnished. The campground itself was very well manicured and has been maintained perfectly. The WIFI was pretty good too. Definitely will be staying here again. Update 05/07/2026 Another great stay at this KOA the past seven days. It was exactly as it was the last time I stayed here. The campground is always in great condition, the campsites roomy and the staff was courteous, friendly and very helpful. My wife and I were able to hike quite a few miles on the Appalachian Trail as there are several trailheads close by. Glad I stayed here again and look forward to staying there in the future.
