Great quiet park. Pool is awesome. staff very friendly. No trash pick up. Lawn could use some grooming.

The staff left our instructions on the door and they were very thorough. The restrooms were not clean and the place could use some trees to help with the heat.

One night stay was interrupted by the umbrella awning (KOA property) at my site collapsed on my camper. Not real happy about having camper paint scratched and having to force way out door against umbrella weight Owner did apologize and I’m ok with that. Recommend all KOA equipment be inspected before renting spots.

I can’t wait to see the completed new bathroom & shower building in the new section of your park. A clean and well kept park. The park personnel were great! We would visit again!

The sites were level with full hookups including good WIFI. The bathroom facilities were under construction so it was necessary to use RV facilities. The new area for RV's was well done and will be expanding in the future but will not have any shade for many years. No cable connections but antenna reception was satisfactory.

Beautiful campground next to tree orchard. We came when it was very hot, but we enjoyed the evening. The bathrooms and laundry room are clean and convenient. Cabins are available and looked cozy Staff were very welcoming.

We stayed in a premium site with a patio - it was wonderful! There was a covered pergola with table and chairs, as well as, a fire pit and outdoor mat with 2 chairs. We appreciate the pull-through sites and full hook-ups for our 5th wheel camper. We look forward to staying at the Lufkin Journey KOA for future visits. Thank you for the hospitality! Tim and Robin

Some difficulty reaching the office bc they are out working on the property. No shade but trees have been planted to benefit future campers. Level RV sites, some are gravel. Pool was a bit cloudy but still refreshing at the end of a hot day. Facilities clean & well maintained. Some highway noise especially in early morning hours

The park advertises clean bathrooms, which is not the case. The shower curtains are molded and one of the showers we used didn’t drain. Also, they advertise fishing. The pond is overgrown with water plants making it impossible to fish. Every time you reel your line in, it would get stuck and half the time break. The idea is nice, but maintenance needs to be done.

We stayed 3 weeks ago and everything was sparkling clean and we loved it. Especially the bathrooms and the pool n We stayed again a day ago and were slightly disappointed, the bathrooms were not clean, the dogs poo poo trash was so full it was running over, and the pool was less than clean. Not sure what happened in 3 weeks but we wish our last night on the road was like it was 3 weeks again.

Arrived Monday 6/7/21 during a heavy rain. Thankfully we were on a slab. However the area between the slab & electric pole was completely under water. Had to use items from trailer to build a walkway. Either add dirt or put paving stones. Great stay, great hosts. Will definitely be back next year.

Camp grounds were very clean and easy to find. The place was very quiet and we felt safe there. Even though WiFi was advertised and we were given the passcode, we were never able to access the service.

Site was nice and level. Roads had numerous potholes, bathrooms were disgusting and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months, cable was marginal, wifi didn't work, office showed open until 5pm - we tried going in to ask a question at 4:10pm and it was already closed. Tried calling to ask our question and it went to the answering machine. Very disappointing for a KOA.

Did not have the free firewood that was promised. Only four tent sites out in the open sun and heat. The store closed at least a half hour early everyday and was not open at all on Sunday. The bath house was not well stocked with soap, toilet paper and paper towels even after we asked and informed the person at the front desk about it. very clean and quiet. the only problem was the internet, it would go from 1 bar to 4 bars to disconnect. could not keep the laptop connected.

Wow, it is a beautiful campground. The pool was a wonderful treat to swim in, so clean and clear. The owner was their and was available to visit with, he was very nice and informative. We are looking forward to staying there on our way back on this trip.

Always enjoy the through & through--cement pad was nice; Service great & really appreciated the gracious refund of a day, when we had to leave early.

I had serious mechanical issues with my truck which might have caused a delay in leaving. The very nice young lady behind the counter was MORE than helpful by switching things around so I could stay if needed. It wasn't needed but even so she was most helpful & thoughtful. It was nice knowing I didn't have to jump thru hoops. Campground lived up to KOA standards.

Most of the spots are taken by permanent/long stay residents. The bathrooms were nice but a hassle to access. The lock pads were faulty and I actually had to drive my family to a DQ a few miles up the road to use the restroom in the middle of the day because the code wasn't working or changed somehow on the only bathroom that worked.

The map of the kampground wasn’t accurate at all. There was no playground (they were in the process of building it) and there was no bath house. When I called to inquire about the showers, I was told very snippily that they were located with the laundry/restrooms, basically ‘duh’ Also, the washers would only accept liquid detergent, per the office. The grounds were immaculate and well groomed for a peaceful stay. We rented two of the deluxe cabins: C3 - the batteries were out of one of the AC unit remotes. Perfect for my older parents and their limited accessibility. C1 - 1/2 roll of a toilet paper, 1 towel for two people, the grill would not light and was disgusting. The deck itself needs repair a couple of rotting planks. Sad return

This is by far one of if not THE best koa we've ever stayed at. It's so clean ,well maintained and well laid out. We were in one of the patio sites and I truly hated to leave!!

The park is very clean, and our lot had a pergola & firepit, concrete pad & patio with a huge field for me & my service dog to exercise in but the noise was 24/7 from construction vehicles & the nearby industry making sleeping impossible for light sleepers.

The place is very nice, sage and clean. The grandkids loved the pool. It is noisy. It is right next to the freeway.

We did all online registration was left in door never meet any staff although did say we could call. Clean not to big Great back field to let dogs run and play which seemed to be okay as others did as well For being close to highway it was quiet
