Rating of 3 is average. Site was level and hookups good. Site 11 was unkempt, grass around fire pit not cut and chigger bites prevalent. Note that other sites looked maintained.

It was good. Maybe mark the rv sites better. It's sometimes hard to tell the road from the drive through sights.

We only stayed one night but could see the site was clean and safe. We would stay again.

Bathrooms were clean but poorly lit, rec room tv had no remote and our cable didn't work. The WiFi was good. The gravel roads and RV pads have excessive erosion. On check out day they shut the water off without notification so we couldn't flush our holding tanks. There's just very little pride of ownership. It's unlikely that we would stay here again.

Had a wonderful four days in area. The campground is kept clean with excellent water pressure. Just remember you are in the Missouri hills. Majority of slots require leveling. Plus they are all gravel and rutted from recent rains.

This was nice and woodsy, which is what we were looking for. We loved our patio. Staff was nice and friendly. It’s convenient for sightseeing the lakes.

Should NOT be classified as a Holiday KOA. Nothing special here. Loose gravel, combined with hilly sites is a real problem.

Our stay was good for the most part. Evidently the grass around or behind our site is full of chiggers. Yikes! This was the second time we stayed, we have family that lives nearby, we have dogs and like to utilize the paws park but yours could use a little TLC.

Everything was great except we were unable to use the pool. The pool was green. Chemicals were on backorder.

This is a very nice little campground. The people who run it are awesome. Very accommodating. If we are back in the area we will stay with them again.

We stayed for 2 nights and the host went above and beyond to put us in the best site. They also went out of their way to put our friends in the site right beside us when they found out we were staying at the same campground on the same days! We had a wonderful time during out stay.

We recently stayed in the Elk Twin cabin/apartment. It was delightful. It’s right beside the pool, the game rooms, short walk to all activities. The cabin had everything we needed since we ate all meals there instead of a restaurant. The KOA held a pancake social which was a hit, and delicious. So many kids and families came down for it! Every person on staff is beyond helpful!

KOA lake of the Ozarks was unfriendly to me, not organized with off hours arrival and the Manager seemed annoyed that I was staying there. I am African.

do need a vehicle to get to anything in the area. Park is kinda remote. The sites are mostly level with crushed gravel. They had sone road damage and were working to fill in the ruts. People pretty nice. do have some short hiking trails. Do have feral cats. Can hear road noise when sitting out side. Can see the stars at night. Nice pool and shade trees. Good mix of cable TV.

The ping-pong table didn’t have a net it took a long time to get some pool sticks for the pool table and we went to dinner and coming back from dinner at dark. There’s no lights and say it’s a KOA Campground there’s a big billboard, but the lights aren’t even on, so we drove by it twice before we figured out how to get back in there would be tougher for older people it as well it’s not

Pool sticks and balls are in the office because children throw them around the game room. Guests are free to use them. The net has been broken several times. we try to replace it every ten days. If the billboard light was out, why did you not say something to make us aware of it?

It was a bit difficult walking in the rocks around the campground but it didn’t keep us from taking the doggies out. We had a great time and really enjoyed the patio and its furnishings.

We only had conversation with this desk staff and they were friendly. Restrooms were nice! There seems to be a lot of “work” being done to the grounds; however, there were several areas that needed attention - old, rundown cars under a lean to, large containers stacked around an old garage, other cars/trucks that didn’t seem to “belong” sitting around.

The pool was Very green ( with frogs) and very cold despite the hot temps! The cable tv didn't work, the line had been broken. Bathrooms were clean and nice.

Did you say anything about the cable not working? We have a staff member who can easily fix the problem unless the problem is within a camper's tv.

Lori n Luis are very special people. Very kind n very caring. Tina the lady that did the pool was also fun to be around. Next year will be our 4th year n so looking forward to being there. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Thank you for being there when needed anything. Happy Anniversary next year!�ϋ�

We had a good site, very deep, but a little narrow for camper itself. Nice people, good utilities. They had cable tv trouble, so we had no cable, but all ok. The location is great for seeing sites all over. Rates are very reasonable.

EXTREMELY NOISY! The Hosts were kind at check in, the Pool was green, there is supposed hiking trails but neither of us could find them. The dog run is a small area (VERY small). Just not an experience to be expected when staying at a KOA.

Came in a small travel trailer. Clean bathrooms. Friendly and helpful. Free music was nice! A little noisy from highway on one side and train on the other.

We stayed in the twin elk apartment. We were extremely disappointed when we came in and found there was no ac unit or fan in the kids bedroom. It was 100 degrees outside and the kids could not sleep in the heat. Had to sleep on the floor in the living room b/c the kitchen had the other ac. The ac was also full of black mold. It stunk and we woke up sick. The pool was locked with no sign as to why.

Thank you for visiting. We had an expert come in to check but found no signs of mold. Wish you had pointed out where. The pool was down one day to balance out the chemicals. Communication is important; too bad you did not speak with us.

What I thought was a vacation turned out to be an emergency hospital stay. I was only booked for 10 days when I had to extend my booking. I called the managers. I explained my situation and they had to move a few campers around my site while I was hospitalized. They accommodated me when I needed them most. The campground is very tidy. The bathhouse is very clean. Laundry is good. Great stay.

The only downside of this KOA is the tricky access when coming from the west...you have to do a permitted U-turn on an occasionally busy four-lane highway and then backtrack just a 1/4 mile or so. But the cabin we stayed in was perfectly comfortable, the camp was quiet at night and the staff who were there to help us were very kind an accommodating. I would definitely stay there again.

Cozy little campground, perfect for our stay passing through. Very nice bathroom and shower facilities. Met a friendly regular named Dean who came over to introduce himself and share his food with us, had a nice conversation with the gentlemen. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quaint campground to stay at and explore the Ozark area.

We had a grand time! When calling in for reservations and finding out that we had our grandson with us we were put close to the pool and playground. The weekend went so well that we stayed an extra day. We will be going back.

We stayed on the 22 and then came back on the 30th fJuly. Love the campground. Nice and woody and places to walk the dogs. Great host. Showers were nice.

The spot was fine, but the roads are REALLY rough. There are gashes and bumps and ruts all over the place. And closing a pool for maintenance on a Friday in summer is a very unexpected surprise.

The roads are rough after that storm we got but we are working on them. The pool was closed for a couple of hours, not an entire day. It is very important to have the exact chemical level. Thank you for coming.

Great location to be within distance of most all activities on this hugh lake! Very quiet and clean. Lots of trees so great for shade but so so on wifi.

Christian was awesome! I wish online would have shown pictures of the inside of the trailer we stayed in, but we made it work. The shower house was clean and we enjoyed the showers there more than the tiny shower in the trailer. All in all it is always a nice relaxing place to stay. If all employees were as bubbly and friendly as Christian that would have been even better.

I have to say to those reviews that are negative what is wrong with you!? This campground is the best place ever! Luis and Lori are sweet people and deserve to have the best reviews! I definitely say I love the area and recommend anyone to come out here for camping.
