The City of Lethbridge is under a WATER CONSERVATION ORDER and residents and businesses are asked to conserve water.
Voluntary action now will help prevent the need for mandatory restrictions in the coming days and weeks. Residents, businesses and institutions are asked to take whatever actions they can – big or small – to conserve water. Every drop matters and everyone has a role to play in helping conserve water in their community and for their neighbors downstream.
The Alberta government continues to monitor the situation watching precipitation levels, reservoirs and lake levels, stream flow rates in rivers and water demand. They continue to work closely with municipal governments to help manage and conserve water where possible. More information is available here: Drought | Alberta.ca

River Valley Fire Advisory in effect
A Fire Advisory has been issued, effective December 22, 2023 for all City of Lethbridge parks in the River Valley area. This advisory has been put in place to inform residents of the current wildfire risks within our River Valley parks.
Under the advisory, recreational fires are allowed in the fire pits provided, as are propane-fueled cooking appliances. Residents are asked that all smoking material be disposed of properly.
Lethbridge Fire & EMS will be monitoring the fire risk conditions and make changes when necessary. If conditions worsen, the Fire Advisory may progress to a Restriction or Fire Ban at any time.

Coming from the US Coutts/Sweetgrass Border: As you come into the city, turn R at the lights on on 43ST. Follow to highway #3W and turn L at this intersection. Follow highway #3 W and take first exit after crossing the river.
Coming in from the west on highway #3: follow highway into the river valley and take first exit at the bottom of the valley (Bridge Drive) to the right. Follow the barricade on your left and make a left turn at the end of the barricade into the golf course entry and follow the U-turn loop. Exiting the loop make a R turn. Then moving to your left lane, take highway #3 W exit and this will bring you right to our entrance.
