I would have rated it 5 star BUT the owner is a pool nazi. He walked out to pool and grilled a child with questions. He wasn’t doing anything wrong, and immediately showed his distress. A member of our group spoke up and said he didn’t think it was appropriate for him to put a child on the spot and talk to him in such an aggressive manner and that he should speak to the parents.

We had a great time. This KOA was clean, quiet and very well maintained. Most of the sites had plenty of room between you and your neighbors. Very handy to get to Bennett Springs state park.

Had a great stay here. We were with some of our Grandkids and Great Grandkids. And some close friends. Great place for young kids.

Very clean and welcoming campground. We visited midweek and thoroughly enjoyed the uncrowded pool and the tree swings.

Everyone kind and helpful. Very clean place. Pool was relaxing and showerhouse/restrooms are really nice. We are definitely planning a future stay at this same KOA. And also only 4 minutes from Bennett Springs State Park.

This was the second time staying there and the staff is very friendly. It is very easy to find. Not to far from Bennett springs if you are wanting to fish. The lots are all good sized with full hook ups

Nice place, kids love the pool. We stayed during the 4th of July and there was a nice fireworks display. Only issue there was alot of nats we couldn't sit outside much without getting attacked. Not sure maybe it was the time of year but worst I seen.

This is one of our favorite places to camp. The sites are spacious, the swimming pool is nice and the bathrooms are super clean and updated. I'd like to especially thank Rick for his tips on setting my camper up. All of the staff were friendly and we'll definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our stay!!!! very nice people. Very clean grounds very clean pool kids loved that had activities for everyone my favorite was the ping pong we will be back for sure. THANK YOU!!!!!

The cabin was nice. Had a great porch. Pool was dirty the one time we could actually get in because it is so small when there were 6 people it was full. Parking in front of the cabin was nonexistent very difficult for our Pathfinder to be parked. It was ok for what it was.

Very nice grounds but that’s it. The owner is rude and should learn how to talk to people. Advise your guests when they check in about needing a wristband for the pool versus demanding kids get out when the parents could just get them one. Also, if you’re not going to allow a tent on an RV site you should post that so people know prior to making a reservation. We left a day early and won’t b

The owners were so kind, helpful, and had everything in their store that I forgot. The property, pool and activities for the kids were perfect! My son made me promise we'd come back before we even left.

Site #64 was perfect. Nice shade, glider, fire pit and nice table and chairs. The solar lights hanging between trees were extra special touch. Owners and staff Mike were friendly. Kept grounds very nice. Bathroom and shower are coded and kept very clean. Store has little bit of everything except no clothing with their logo of area or KOA. Yes, it is close to road but that was not a bother to us.

you need more explanation on how to get to the park from Interstate 44 East. something like dont use exit 118.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I doubled checked our web page, our email confirmation page and the KOA directory and all say to take exit 129 and caution on exit 118. There are even highway signs telling of KOA at exit 129. Don't know what else to do.

Stay here often, staff is very friendly and helpful, bathrooms n showers are very clean, fun stuff for kids and adults, well definitely be coming back!!

My family visits Bennett Springs often. We have never camped here before but we are from now on!!! The showers are so clean; it makes you feel like you don't even need shower shoes!!! I didn't run into a staff that wasn't polite and helpful. The cashier at the store front over charge me 75 cents on accident and even came to the camper site to return the money! Quite, polite, and super clean! I'll spend my money here any day!!!
