We rented one of the cabins for this trip (we typically pull and camp in our T@B trailer). The cabin space is a little small but adequate, especially if you don't spend much time indoors. Amenities included a small refrigerator, microwave, space heater, and A/C. There was a small shelf for "cooking", a bunk bed and a double bed. Mattresses were the typical outdoor type, about 4 inches, and firm.

I arrived at night and it had snowed. Would have been helpful to have had a path cleared of snow leading to cabin from car.

We were only there to sleep, but the facilities were clean, the stay was quiet, and the cabin was extremely comfortable!

I loved being able to bring my cat and my small dog. The cabin bed was comfortable and that's saying quite a bit. My back is made of crackers. It was quiet, very clean, and my cat enjoyed the bunk bed. My dog enjoyed being on the porch with me. The locks were crazy difficult for me, but I'm "special" that way. Highly recommend. Very affordable and I felt safe as a lone woman..

Cabin could have cleaner, the floor appeared to have never been mopped it was very dirty.

We stayed in a cabin and it was everything I expected. The bathrooms were clean. The grounds were neat and clean. The staff was very nice. Check in was easy.

The staff was really accommodating, but the cabin was nothing to write home about. Not very impressed. Have stayed on alot KOA's this was not up to standard for us.

The customer service was excellent. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were taken care, they went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. Very friendly, also. Bathrooms and showers were clean. The whole experience was excellent, we only wish we could have stayed longer.

Super service certainly one of the most beautiful KOAs nested in the hills of New Mexico. I stayed at on the road trip. Had a great breakfast served up by our host. The “Kabin” was in good shape and clean upon arrival and had a useful AC and heater.

Update your website price to reflect current pricing. Lights could be added / repaired at the dog run, there were no working lights there. A non-operational solar light was positioned above the picnic table there. Otherwise, cabin was clean and as expected.

The pricing on the website is accurate. It does not however include taxes until you complete the reservation. And you were never charged for the dog fee.

We arrived while the office was closed and were worried that we wouldnt be able to get into our Cabin Amazingly, the staff had a map with our name and instructions on it. Our cabin was already set up with the heat on. The cabin was clean and stayed hot all night long, we actually had to turn the heat down in the middle of the night. It was a below freezing night as well. the bathrooms were clean.

Staff was very flexible about changing me to the available cabin of my choice. Much appreciated. Breakfast was AWESOME and affordable. Cabin was very clean and the heater was adequate even in sub-freezing temps overnight. I will definitely return to this KOA!

We only stayed one night. The staff was super friendly. Everything was clean. The cozy kabin ac didn't provide much comfort being that it was so low on the wall. It could have used a ceiling fan to help circulate the air. Also a bedside table would have been nice. Overall it's a very nice campground, and we would stay again if we are ever down that way again

Older, semi-rundown place, which is common for many Journey KOA's. Pool was weird and green, and only moderately enjoyable activities nearby. It was a good night's sleep, very quiet, and kind staff. This is a nice stop on the way to somewhere else.

Friendly staff, clean restrooms & showers. We stayed in a cabin and it had a little cooling unit, a mini refrigerator, microwave, and outlets for charging my devices. The porch swing was nice and there was a picnic table and fire pit out front. All very nice.

Camp ground is not kid friendly. Called and asked if pool was open and heated. They told us yes it is open and heated. When we arrived on the pool gate a sign stated no kids can go in pool if they wear a diaper per NM state code. No code number was stated. We looked up and couldn’t find anything. If this was the case we would have not stayed there.

Please feel free to contact the New Mexico Health Department. We would get shut down if we allowed a baby with a diaper in the pool. We did however go buy a baby pool so the baby would still have a good time. There are plenty of people that thanked us for not letting a baby with a diaper in the pool

The campsite was clean. We stayed there two days. The daytime staff was very friendly, but that was the only people we spoke with. The cabin was clean and felt very comfortable.

Susan saw us pulling in 5 mins after close and she turned around to help us get checked in. What a kind soul! She recommended a great restaurant/pub Dick's with amazing food and nice people. We will definitely be back.
