This place is extremely friendly and comfortable. Clean. I have been there several times and will always choose them first, if there is space available. Greatest staff ever!

We arrived while the office was closed and were worried that we wouldnt be able to get into our Cabin Amazingly, the staff had a map with our name and instructions on it. Our cabin was already set up with the heat on. The cabin was clean and stayed hot all night long, we actually had to turn the heat down in the middle of the night. It was a below freezing night as well. the bathrooms were clean.

Staff was very flexible about changing me to the available cabin of my choice. Much appreciated. Breakfast was AWESOME and affordable. Cabin was very clean and the heater was adequate even in sub-freezing temps overnight. I will definitely return to this KOA!

Flossie was an absolute doll! We enjoyed visiting with the other campers at breakfast and the cabin was perfect!

We only stayed one night. The staff was super friendly. Everything was clean. The cozy kabin ac didn't provide much comfort being that it was so low on the wall. It could have used a ceiling fan to help circulate the air. Also a bedside table would have been nice. Overall it's a very nice campground, and we would stay again if we are ever down that way again

Older, semi-rundown place, which is common for many Journey KOA's. Pool was weird and green, and only moderately enjoyable activities nearby. It was a good night's sleep, very quiet, and kind staff. This is a nice stop on the way to somewhere else.

Friendly staff, clean restrooms & showers. We stayed in a cabin and it had a little cooling unit, a mini refrigerator, microwave, and outlets for charging my devices. The porch swing was nice and there was a picnic table and fire pit out front. All very nice.

Camp ground is not kid friendly. Called and asked if pool was open and heated. They told us yes it is open and heated. When we arrived on the pool gate a sign stated no kids can go in pool if they wear a diaper per NM state code. No code number was stated. We looked up and couldn’t find anything. If this was the case we would have not stayed there.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Please feel free to contact the New Mexico Health Department. We would get shut down if we allowed a baby with a diaper in the pool. We did however go buy a baby pool so the baby would still have a good time. There are plenty of people that thanked us for not letting a baby with a diaper in the pool

The campsite was clean. We stayed there two days. The daytime staff was very friendly, but that was the only people we spoke with. The cabin was clean and felt very comfortable.

Absolutely wonderful. Very clean. Office very helpful. Flossie was the absolute friendliest woman...loved talking with her and get her opinions. Susan and Courtney also very nice. The breakfast was delicious! Think the general store needs more items (books, toys, souvenirs, snacks/candy). We did have an issue with our kabin light always dimming.

Great KOA!!! You could have more groceries, drinks, and basic supplies in the store and a better selection of souvenirs. Also if you are going to have a nice pool, it needs to be heated a little so that a person can swim in the pool. Other than that, this KOA campground and restrooms are always clean and your breakfast is one of the best!!

Our late arrival with registration was easy. Our basic cabin had an air conditioner, heater and mini-fridge. The two windows were easy to open and provided adequate circulation, but a ceiling fan would be nice. The bathrooms were clean, the breakfast was delicious (sign-up the night before) and the staff were warm and friendly. Our stay was too short to enjoy everything, so we'll be back.

We stayed in one of the little cabins, it had air conditioning which was awesome. Beds weren't too bad. Staff was exceptionally nice. Public bathroom was always kept clean along with showers. Water pressure was just enough. Had a swimming pool, cute park and even a game room. Laundry room was a plus since we were in town for a softball tournament. I would definitely go glamping here again.

First time at this KOA and first time to stay in a camping cabin. The campground was small, quiet, and maintained well. They have a nice pool but we didn’t have time to swim. Cabin and bathrooms were clean. The breakfast in the morning was great!

Tried a cabin this time. Comfortable, clean & quiet. The breakfast ($8.00 and well worth it) is wonderful. We checked into our cabin today, on our way back & it's like coming home. We were expected and welcome. We will be back.

Loved the breakfast. Flossing I believe was her name, was awesome! The only bad thing was the loose dogs that came by our cabin. They scared our little dogs. Otherwise everything was clean and everyone was soooo nice! I would stay again, without those loose dogs.

I've stayed in cabin both for overnight trips and for several days to explore the surround. There is a quality to sitting outside in the evenings one only finds in the mountains of New Mexico.

Self checkin with well executed site directions on map. Park had a good "camp" feel with lots of trees and various levels. Did not use amenities.

This is a great place to stay! The owner was super helpful when a neighbor complained about the electric - turned out the service was fine & his "not-name-brand" surge connector was wrong! Close enough to interstate to be convenient, but far enough away there was not traffic noise. Lots of trees, a decent dog run as well as a good breakfast for $8.00. A hidden gem worth checking out.
