This KOA had everything that we needed and wanted while providing an environment that made you feel like you were camping; with trees and real forest elements. Very enjoyable.

I have stayed at countless KOAs and other campgrounds and have never seen a shower to match or even come close to the ones at your KOA. When I opened the door, I was amazed at what I saw. Not only was there a private toilet, but there was also a large shower just like home with sliding glass doors! This was a most welcome change from what is usually offered. This is much better than a Journey!

Super & friendly staff; speedy check in; fun clean park in a great location....easy on/off of I-25. Exactly as advertised with very reasonable rates. Loved the sunrise and view from spot 14. Thank you!!

Easy in, easy out. Good breakfast and company in the a.m. Only stayed for the night but previous trips we had stayed and explored the area. One of our favorite places to eat is in Las Vegas, NM. Will stay there again when in the area.

Perfect place to stay. Very clean bathrooms and showers. We met the owner. Obvious pride of ownership. His friend Henry cooked us pancakes for breakfast and then came to our RV to help with an issue..We signed up for a KOA membership. We'll be back....

Pleasant site after a white knuckle driving through 25-30 mph winds from Gallup. For the Staff, i have to give excellent marks, very friendly. Though for me its a Bottom ranking koa ive stayed at crossing the country, but for nothing else in the area it will due for a safe place to rest your head. Very rustic. They do warn about H2O pressure, we had 10 psi. Couldn't get wifi to work but Cell

Our RV developed a problem with the stabilizers and Doug, an employee at this KOA, came to our assistance. He worked tirelessly and finally corrected the problem allowing us to leave on time. We cannot thank Doug and the staff enough; you saved our “bacon”! Do not hesitate to camp here as it is a beautiful setting with fantastic staff.

Great visit as always. I fired up my blackstone griddle and found rancid vegetable oil so I went to the little store but they did not have any. The gentleman behind the desk was so awesome! he ran to his trailer and got me a little cup full out of his personal stash so I could cook dinner! Thank You!!!

The campground was clean and tidy. The tent area was very well set up with individual tent sites. The chap at reception was absolutely lovely. I really appreciated the care he took to make sure that I was comfortable in the campground.

The road to the resort from the interstate was brutal on our rig. Even at 5 miles an hour, it still rattled the heck out of us. It was a very expensive stay. At nearly $70 per night I expected more than 20 PSI water pressure. The park was pretty rundown. Very small dog park built on wood chips. We expected more from a KOA. Unfortunately, the choices for RV stays in this area are very limited.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The price you paid was $66.06. The road was chip-sealed last year and is only 1/2 mile long. The park is unique in that it lays on 24 acres and offers 75 acres to walk a dog. Plenty of room to spread out. Water pressure is rarely 20 psi in your low lying site. Our guests love our green valley.

We had a great night in Las Vegas, NM. A very good Mexican restaurant was recommended and it was great. Kish made a wonderful homemade breakfast at the campground. And her husband, who happened to be the maintenance guy at the campground, was very helpful. Really nice people! Thanks for making our first RV camping experience a good one!!

John and his team were awesome (and have hearts of gold when it comes to our furry little friends). We rented a cabin that was warm, cozy, convenient and super quiet. Definitely recommend.

Nice park, nothing special, good big right parking, but you have back your pulling vehicle down a long road to reconnect if you are in the first pull through spaces.

We had a great stay. Billy in the office was super friendly and made sure we got a good pitch for the night. He went above and beyond which made us feel welcome. The pitch was great and suited us well. The facilities could use to be updated but they were functional. All in all we would stay here again.

The road to the park is in need of a little love (not KOA's problem, just a heads-up), but the sites are quite level. Parking was a breeze. The water pressure is quite low, which we're finding to be the case in a lot of mountain-area parks (KOA and other), but the $8 breakfast on departure certainly made up for it!

A very pleasant campground. The owners are as nice as could be! I enjoyed the hiking trail around the perimeter of the property. It's about .6 miles long. I'd gladly stay here again.

Our stay was great. The site is very cleans and well kept. Our RV slide broke when we tried to leave so we had to extend our stay and the staff worked through the reservation and work out for us to stay in out current spot. During a very stressful situation, they were so kind and accommodating.

Super nice young lady at check in, they have a cat to greet you at the office. Rock pull through, mostly level, picnic table with wind shelter. Water pressure seems a little low but works fine. Quiet stop.
