Site not very level & loose dirt. 30 amp service quit after 1 hour. Ditto for our neighbors. We tried getting by on 15amp service. That too died in the middle of the night. Temp fell into the teens making matters much worse.

It was a great campground… beautiful scenery, a nice level site, and an extraordinary hand cooked breakfast! We will definitely go back!!

We had to extend our stay because of weather. Susan was great, good breakfast, good camaraderie, good tips for spending our day. Very relaxing.

We had a good stay in this KOA traveling through from Arizona to Colorado. I will say that this campground is showing some wear and could use some TLC. The positives are that the bathrooms were clean, a hot breakfast is offered ( for a fee)), and the setting is beautiful �.

Nice camper with very friendly staff. Susan is exceptional and so helpful. Plus you can sign up for breakfast too! Easy access off of I-25 plus the town of Las Vegas has a great restaurant/bar Buffalo Hall Cowboy Cafe. Highly recommend!

The park was very nice for the price. It was close to the interstate. It was quiet. We were able to extend our stay by 2 days. Billy and Susan were both very nice to work with. Breakfast was good, but a little over priced. Laundry facility was adequate. Restrooms were nice and clean. Shower stalls were a little small, but nice hot water! We stayed there in a travel trailer and would return.

One reason that we chose to stay at your KOA was because our trailer was winterized and we needed to have a nice, warm bathroom to use. Your bathroom was nice and warm and the reason that I mention this is because on the way home, we stayed at another KOA (Pueblo South) and the bathroom was so cold that it was not fun to take a shower in it. So I appreciate your nice, warm bathroom. Thank you!

Booked this stay as an overnight stop between Arizona and Denver. Camp grounds are clean, well maintained, bathhouses were clean and people were kind. May come back and stay a few days next time

Great place to stay. Billy lent me a tool no questions asked and he cooked up a great breakfast the next morning. We will continue to stay here as we travel through the area.

We rented one of the cabins for this trip (we typically pull and camp in our T@B trailer). The cabin space is a little small but adequate, especially if you don't spend much time indoors. Amenities included a small refrigerator, microwave, space heater, and A/C. There was a small shelf for "cooking", a bunk bed and a double bed. Mattresses were the typical outdoor type, about 4 inches, and firm.

We have stayed at this KOA several times as a first stop on our winter trip to AZ. We always enjoy our stopover here. The park and restrooms/showers are well equipped and clean. The people, especially Susan, are friendly and accommodating, and their breakfast is wonderful. The only negative is the dog park needs to be serviced more often. There were no poop bags, and the trash cans were overfull.

Check in was quick. The KIA staff member was friendly and informative. Our pull through site was easy to navigate both in and out. It was situated between pines which gave some privacy from fellow campers and within easy walking distance to the restrooms. The restrooms were clean & the showers were hot. Cell tower nearby so good connection. Highway noise was minimal. Close to town. Thumbs up.

The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The grounds were clean. The campground was very quiet. There There was a bit of noise from the traffic on the highway but it was not bad. The pancakes were delicious. We had a very pleasant stay.

Even though we had only a one night stay, we are looking forward to returning for a longer stay. Every camp site seems secluded and in the country.

Everything about this KOA was good! They serve breakfast but we didn’t partake. We were there for 1 night. Even though it was old and quaint we loved it. It has a A-frame office just like the original KOA’s. The bathrooms were very clean and warm!

It was neat and organized, I was put out near the end of a row which made a long walk to the showers, since the whole ro8w empty.

Sorry for your inconvenience. I looked at your reservation and did not see any comments asking to be close to the bathrooms. If we could have accommodated you we certainly would have tried.

I arrived at night and it had snowed. Would have been helpful to have had a path cleared of snow leading to cabin from car.

Nice quiet secluded campground. Be aware the access road from interstate to the campground is very rough, slow going...The snow could be cleaned off the sites, so it is not slick, and tracked into the camper. They don't have propane if you need some.

We stayed one night on our way to AZ. We came with some unusual weather (snow and cold temperatures) and it was dark. Office hours were a little confusing and the office was hard to find. The gentleman who came to help check our electrical post for power was very nice and it ended up being something we didn’t check in our RV outlets. It was clean and the warm clean bathrooms were appreciated!

I always stop at this campground when I am in the area. The campground is nice and relaxing surrounded by trees, all utilities work, and the staff is outstanding. Very easy to get on and off of I-25, they have a yummy breakfast in the morning!!!

Open during the winter and they have nice, clean, warm bathrooms. We were happy they were open and pleased that we could stay there.

Most sites need a little leveling, but there are lots of trees and views. Nice people run the place. Sites are gravel/dirt. Most, if not all, are pull through. Nice dog run, playground for kids, pool in summer. Breakfast served every morning. Interstate 25 is on the west side, the Amtrak tracks on the east. Neither are loud or bothersome.

Nice place to stay. We make sure to stop on our way to Tucson. Our Dalmatians love the doggie yars.

Susan saw us pulling in 5 mins after close and she turned around to help us get checked in. What a kind soul! She recommended a great restaurant/pub Dick's with amazing food and nice people. We will definitely be back.
