I had a quiet and breezy stay. It was nice, sitting outside with the wind was great, the mosquitoes and other flying insects were not around. If you ever been camping you know what I mean. The staff were attentive and the sheriff's department made rounds through the grounds. I will go back.

When I called the establishment about a reservation and requested a certain site they told me it was not available and then put us in the spot adjacent to the requested site. When we arrived and began the set up process the site was covered with leaves and the picnic table was broken. We had to pull forward so far in the site to get by the tree in the rear of the site that it took 50 feet of hose.

Very nice KOA! Extremely helpful and nice staff! We stayed in the newer section on back side of lake in a pull through. Would definitely stay again and recommend!

Lafayette KOA was the perfect place to stay during our softball tournament. It was close to the park and had all the amenities needed to keep the kids busy. We will definitely be back

It is disappointing as parents traveling with kids, when you pay extra to stay at a place with a pool and it wasn't even open. We specifically choose places with pools so the kids can burn off some energy after being cooped up on the truck all day. The park was just fine. It's walking distance to food, which was nice because we didn't want to disconnect for our overnight stay.

Loved the convenience and right off freeway. Make sure you get a sit away from freeway or it would be a little loud!

Just for the night on our way to San Antonio, Texas. Very easy to check in. The site was long and wide enough for a big trailer or motor home (35 -42 ft), mine was 33 and kept my truck hitched to the trailer without any problem. Place was very clean and quite even though there were lot of families present. I've been there 4 times this year and won't hesitate to do it again. Very easy access to it.

Our stay was pretty good with the exception of the snakes. The snakes were about 24 inches long and poisonous. We watched them come across the next lot onto our lot and hung around the sewer connection. Tried calling the office, with no respond and no emergency number to call. The next day I told the ground worker. When you have pets be careful and don't step on any snakes. But we had a good stay

For some people this is a great camping experience, just not me. The campground is very pretty and well maintained. We were assigned a campground between 2 campers, one with cats that live there year round, and on the other side was a small dog. The sewer drain for the next camper was right at the bottom of our steps to go in our camper. I have a large dog and the dog park was made for little dogs

appreciate site location on the water.. quiet park. Everything worked. We did not use bath/showers or laundry; so no comment. lady at front desk really nice.

Shady sites with FHU. Great amenities and a lovely lake. Highway noise became background noise so not an issue. The laundry room was the best I’ve seen at a koa. Kim was extremely kind and helpful.

Disappointed. Space hadn't been cleaned or raked in some time. Accumulation of leaves made worse with the rain. You can't control the weather but you can minimize the impact by providing a clean space.

Pretty pricey for just a swimming pool for the kids. Our cottage was definitely not cleaned before we got there, spider webs and spiders all over the table outside, couldn't even enjoy sitting at the table.

We pulled in about dinner time and left early. Staff was very helpful in the morning. Lake with paddle boats to use looked like fun as well as the pool. Great playground for the kids as well as a mini golf.

Stayed for two days. Restrooms and showers were OK. We took a shady spot next to the pond (lake). Nice concrete pad, good shade. Quiet campground. They have paddle boats to rent and you can fish in the pond, but not keep the fish.

Easy on off access from I-10 and very clean and quiet. We stay here every time we are in the area and have never had a bad experience.

I was very impressed with the overall look and condition of the Lafayette KOA. The hostess was very friendly and happily directed me to several dining options near the campground. I would highly recommend this KOA to any fellow traveler.

The KOA was very well maintained, the bathrooms were clean, lake was beautiful. My only suggestion would be to have tent sights further, back in the park away from the interstate, it was hard to sleep with all the interstate noise being so close to the front of the park.

First time visitors. Spent one night here, while passing through the area. Sites at the very back have concrete pads, reasonable spacing and are fairly level. Utilities worked as expected. Although this facility is quite close to the interstate, the back sites are reasonably quiet. While walking, we noticed the sites at the front are quite noisy. Check in was easy and attendant was friendly. Location is very convenient from the interstate. As long as we could secure a site at the back, we would definitely stay again.

This place was great! We stayed overnight on our way through Louisiana. They have new paved pull-through sites “in the back” which are very nice. This place gets super dark and super quiet at night - just what we needed between 2 days of driving! The office staff were super friendly and helpful. This is our new Louisiana overnight stop!
