Overall, we had a nice stay. Staff was very nice and helpful. The restrooms/showers closest to the entrance were newer, bigger and nicer. Concrete slabs in every site. Our site, #125, had ants, but I sprinkled cinnamon and that seemed to work. The pools were good, but a little warmer than I prefer. Billy’s, famous for their boudin and cracklins was right near the entrance of the park.

Great location for staying in Lafayette. We stayed in the newer section in back. Very large grass yard in our spot. Plenty of distance between campers. The pups loved it. No highway noise.

Really enjoyed our stay,but,the bathrooms needed to be cleaned,and in the men’s shower there is no place to put your soap,I had to put my soap on the floor.The pool really needed to be cleaned and vacuumed

Nice campground. Lacking in security. People in the pool without wristbands. Right off the Interstate there needs to be more security presence to make guest feel comfortable that the people there are paying to be there. Not just off the street.

Good for an overnight stay. Overall, campground looks dated, with the exception of the bathrooms which were recently renovated and very nice!

Our stay was great. It was nice and quiet at night. The bathrooms were nice the first night, the second night notso much. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again if in the area!

Nice place. Lots of extra things to do: mini golf, swimming, and fishing. Cabins are available right on the lakefront. The place had mostly shaded RV spots. The bathhouse was relatively modern and well-maintained.

This park is immaculately clean and just lovely. Sitting on a smallish body of water, they offer kayaking, paddle boats, fishing and more. Would pools, a children's playground, and small dedicated dog park make this a wonderful place to stay. On an incredibly hot summer day, the huge shade trees and breeze from the water made the temperature bearable. Folks running the camp are welcoming, too.

Our site was concrete and was level. We were not on the lake but it was behind us, a pretty view! The staff were friendly and busy mowing. Our stay was great, if in the area we would go back. The campground is beside I 10 and it is noisy but it didn't bother us. We stayed 2 nights in a fifthwheel.

I will say each time we stay here all the staff are happy and willing to help, and impeccably clean restrooms and shower areas, we love watching the turtles and ducks in the lake. And there is a awsome candy / ice cream parlor right around the corner. Being close to I 10 it really is very quiet.

This place is awesome! The lake is great and stocked with fish. It's so pretty. The big rig sites in the back are spacious and wide and on the water. Even the pull throughs are so spacious. Right off the freeway for easy access. Stayed at this place twice it was so nice!

Scott KOA is the most dependable 'bet' to stay with .Fine friendly folks with the hospitality enhanced by the Cajun accents and of Lagnappe...that something extra...Sites are clean, concrete flat and hookups for water/electric and sewer are easy peasy...Bath houses and Washateria are SPOTLESS...Well stocked supply center with Mardi Gras beads for the kids..we look for reasons to stay there !!

This KOA has friendly, professional, and accommodating staff. We had to extend our stay due to some repairs to our RV. Michelle and staff helped to secure additional dates for us in order to get the repairs facilitated. The campgrounds are always well kept and the bathrooms and showers are also always clean. This is one of the best KOA's, which is why we stay here when we have to come to Lafayette

Loved the resort, beautiful pools and kids playgrounds. Only negative is the traffic noises from Hwy, but you can't see them! Will be back with a fishing pole!

This is our favorite place to go. It's actually only 15 minutes away from our home but we love camping there!!! Our grandkids enjoy it when we bring them camping they just like us never want to leave.There's plenty to do to stay entertained, swimming, riding bikes, putt putt golf, and there's a large lake where you can fish, paddle boat or go kayaking and a playground area for the kids. Its Shady!

First, the staff here at this KOA are the only reason this isn't a 2-star review. They were great. We're pulling a big rig - while it worked to get us *into* the spot we were assigned, we wouldn't have been able to get out if there were people camping in the next row when we were getting set to leave. We saw somebody else pulling a shorter camper tail swing into a parked car and totaled their RV.

I would recommend to anyone considering staying here to go to denim springs. Its only an hour away, the stays are the same price, the staff is actually friendly and restocks the toilet paper, and their cabins have a TV, and a porch swing.

First time visitors. Spent one night here, while passing through the area. Sites at the very back have concrete pads, reasonable spacing and are fairly level. Utilities worked as expected. Although this facility is quite close to the interstate, the back sites are reasonably quiet. While walking, we noticed the sites at the front are quite noisy. Check in was easy and attendant was friendly. Location is very convenient from the interstate. As long as we could secure a site at the back, we would definitely stay again.

This place was great! We stayed overnight on our way through Louisiana. They have new paved pull-through sites “in the back” which are very nice. This place gets super dark and super quiet at night - just what we needed between 2 days of driving! The office staff were super friendly and helpful. This is our new Louisiana overnight stop!
