I expect better when I choose KOA. This was just not a well maintained campground. My picnic table was literally covered in bird poop and there were ants swarming in the patio area. I need to remember to avoid KOA "Journey" campgrounds in city areas. They almost always disappoint. There is no charm to this campground. It is noisy and in a remote area of town.

The staff was great. One of the high school boys that works there gave us the recommendation to go to the lava beds and it made the day! Thanks so much. One of the best tent camping setups I’ve had. Nice bathrooms and great location!

We arrived very late in the evening after hours and everything was all ready for us and finding our site was a breeze.

Should've looked at a map. It's along two busy roads and it was so loud with traffic all night, plus pedestrians could overlook my campsite which was where the roads intersected. The layout lacks privacy both from the outside and within. Woke up to kids playing 5 yards from my tent. Bad location, cramped layout with shared ammenities too close to sites. Felt more like a trashy trailer park for $55

Too noisy all night long. Traffic noise. Sirens. Midges everywhere and got on everything. Took a few hours to clean off all camping gear once home.

Was well maintained great sites with electricity. Friendly staff and very clean facilities. I would’ve given a five, but they said the bathroom code would work immediately and it didn’t work until the next morning so I was left without a way to go to the bathroom for a whole late afternoon and evening! The office was closed and no one on site to help.

Constantly noisy because of nearby traffic, there is a bike path directly above the tent sites making them very exposed, and the midges made the stay very unpleasant. The bridge over the small waterway is in extreme disrepair to the point of being semi dangerous. I should have done more research about this location because the price of that tent site was too expensive for the value received.

Despite the bugs (Miggins I believe they were called), our stay was nice and we would consider staying here again.

They're telling you that the bugs they have at the site are not mosquitos. Maybe it's right, but it doesn't mean that they should not use every measure to repel and eliminate the bug. It was just too much to bear. I would not stay or recommend this place.

The bugs here were awful. Anything that was static or even when I stood still, were covered in them.I wish I didn’t stay the night. The amount of bugs I rolled up in my tent in the morning was disgusting. I had to unroll it and air it out at my next stop just to try and get rid of them. And they’ve just been popping up in my car in the day since I left.

They have an insect infestation that needs to be addressed. Small mosquito like insects all over our site, tent, and car. Strong animal urine smell near our site, as or site was near the dog section. Constantly smelled an ammonia like smell throughout the night. More could be done to address these two annoyances.

We stayed here because we were attending a baseball tournament. Based on the size of RV sites it would suit a one nighter over a multiple day stay. But everything was clean, pool was wonderful during 100* days. Showers were nice. The only thing I didn't like was how the fhu sites had the neighboring trailers sewer line in the middle of our site. Tent sites were great, just barely any shade.

The entire site was infested with naps and mosquitoes. The toilets were filled with them to the point where no one was comfortable showering or even go to the bathroom. Good morning. I woke up. The bathroom was locked and my code no longer worked. The site location is next to very highly traffic roads that you can hear all night not an ideal form of camping.

There were so many bugs and our site 81 had no shade at all. Noise due to in the city. Bike trail behind us so it did not feel like camping

The pool was nice. Tent sites were large, shady, and had a fence on both sides for privacy. There was a brick patio under the table and an also a fire pit. There was a playground. The shop was large and offered many things. The staff was friendly and helpful. I do feel the women’s bathroom was hot! some lights were dark and one sink had low water pressure. Also near a highway which could be loud

Clean campground. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Problems with bathroom: lights flickering, one sink’s water did not turn on, and it was hard to get the soap to dispense. Good location on edge of town near restaurants and grocery store.

My camp mate and I were in town from Redding California for the Kruise of Klamath weekend. I loved the in-town convenience. Well equipped and very well maintained facilities. The staff was extremely helpful. The freshly-baked cookies were a nice treat too. We will book several sites next year so others in our group can enjoy your campgrounds as we did.

Where to begin? Overall, a good property. Good location except for the traffic noise - lack of mufflers in this town. That 's the price for a good location? Your website is frustrating; any little mistake requires re-typing all too many blanks. Most others keep previous entries or alert you to a mistake before pressing "send". And thus I never did find the membership promised when I join

It was enjoyable, clean, as tent campers on a tent pad, we were treated no less respectfully than families in a large .otorhome. Right down to their version of "chocolates on your pillow", we thought ig was a shame we had not tried it before. The rates were far better than the vheapest motel!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely large tent spots, with tall trees and grass everywhere. Good picnic tables and fire pits as well. Couldn't ask for anything more.

The campground was very well maintained and attractive. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They delivered firewood directly to the campsite which was nice. The bathrooms and pool were clean and inviting. The reason why we will not likely return is the location. The road noise is almost unbearable all night long making it unpleasant for tent camping.

Absolute gem of a KOA. The Amenities were delightful and the peace and serenity were second to none. The staff were so welcoming and helpful, genuinely excited for us to stay. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in the area.
