The bathrooms were closed due to a broken pipe, inconvenient, but things happen. The staff was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the pool and my husband and I enjoyed icecream cones from the store.

Stopped by unannounced for the night. Randy met us at the gate and took us to a nice shaded spot. Very low-key park tucked back in the trees. Very happy with everything.

The site was nice but very tight end to end. We had a power issue on the last day, a very large power spike which caused our EMS to shut everything down 3 times.. That could have had nothing to do with the campground itself. The people here were great and very welcoming

Office staff and others were extremely helpful. From the check-in, help backing the RV in, to the laundry, and help with all the store items, they were friendly and customer service oriented.

Bathroom open 24 hours but found both showers locked in men’s room. No bath this morning. Police showed up to quiet noisy pool crowds. Friendly staff otherwise.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Apparently children locked the shower doors as a prank. The police were at the pool to talk with friends that were swimming. Please don't make assumptions without knowing the facts.

The service was wonderful and it was nice and quiet. It was incredibly hot (not the owners fault- there is a heat wave), so I would recommend black out curtains for the cabin and an extra cooling unit (portable). As soon as the sun went down it was extremely comfortable. The showers and bathrooms were clean and the rec room offered some relief from the heat. We will be back.

We arrived shortly after office closing but Steve was there close-by and greeted us and got us to our spot for the night. He was very accommodating and friendly. Thanks again, Sammy & Sandra Bradley

This place was perfect. It was quiet, convenient, and clean and the people were extremely friendly. The price for a place to stay for 5 people was perfect too!

Very pleasant park with excellent staff. They went out of their way to accommodate us as were experiencing mechanicals problems with a motorhome breakdown. Pool was small but clean and safe. Nice dog park but wish it were divided into large and small dogs. park was a little dated but clean overall.

Cottages don’t allow small pets. Some cottages don’t have restrooms and kitchens. Our stay got interrupted due to complaints about our dogs, not very much grace or not given an opportunity to move away from the showers. They did return our money tho!

The Kerrville KOA is one of the cleanest and quietest places. The KOA hosts were nice and welcoming. WiFi is not too bad. Had some good space between campers. We stayed there twice so far. No complaints!!

Nicest hosts this weeklong travel trip. When they found out our previous nights stay were at KOA that had pools closed which was never mentioned in our phone call bookings ( with 3 grandchildren) they made sure the grands had as much time in the pool as they could before closing down for evening. They also have gas on site which was great as we saw no gas stations close by and were sucking fumes

Traveling without a reservation is tricky. KOA actually answered their phone AND were very helpful! Staff were pros with customer service!

Love this KOA and this is our fourth year staying here. It is central to what we like to do in the hill country and they have the best staff of any KOA we have been to! We already booked next year.

Staff are amazing! The park is clean and beautiful. Our site was under a big beautiful tree. Nice and quiet. Laundry and showers awesome. Playground only had swings and 1 "monkey bars". My 6y and 7y didn't even want to play there at all. We didn't use the outdoor pool, but it is really small. Definitely geared more toward the elderly or kid-less. All in all, we'd go back.

First time at a KOA. I found it average. Not level gravel pads. Hookups in good shape. Wifi fast enough. Campers "living" there (I thought KOA did not allow that). Plugged toilets and showers with drain covers removed. On the bright side the price was OK and the folk working there were very nice. Very small size campground. I may try KOA again hoping this one is not representative.

Stopped for propane fill up. Old time gas pumps. People are trusted to pump gas and then pay!!!! Very nice people there

Do you remember that feeling, when your day of travel is ending, and you're tired and you just need to get your trailer parked for the night?Well that happened to us and yet these ladies that run this quaint, quiet and spotless KOA were full of joy and smiles and kindness a mile long. It's no where near where we live but we'd make the trip back for some time here. It's absolutely a hidden gem and delightful. The trees are grand and the spaces are huge. There's a pool and a rec room and a 24 hour laundry. If you pass this way, you won't regret your stay.
