This is a very nice RV campground but it is not ideal for tent camping. Very noisy, not ideal shade, and the sites are so small we could barely fit our car and tent in the same site.

The young woman who answered my phone calls prior to my arrival and over night stay, was knowledgeable but just talked TOO fast. I can't recommend tenting at this KOA site because of I-70 interstate traffic is just too noisy, (I actually slept inside my car that night.) My tent site on Sept 5th cost me $74.15. I've camped at many KOA sites in the last 2 years and never paid this much to tent.

Very enjoyable stay. Close to town and amenities. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The campsite was very clean though small and not on the most even ground. Restrooms were very clean. The improvement opportunity to me is to make the walking bridge across the camp better laid out. It is not lit at night and in an awkward location to I feel like I had to walk through others campsites to use it

It was great but in a tent camping the interstate was loud at night. Maybe it a little hard to sleep but it was still a great trip

Tent site was horrible, especially for the price of almost $200 for 2 nights. All other tent sites were grass, mine was damp mulch in an area that looked like it wasn’t even a site(55w) One bathroom for the entire campground, with no access unless you walked thru other sites. Splash pad and slide were not working. Goat and horse pen was completely full of waste, felt sorry for the animals.

The staff was helpful. However, the property sucked. One tent site was at an angle, that a tent would have to be set up near the road for level ground. The power boxes for tent sites, had 30 amp, you ever see tent people travel with 30 amp equipment? The bathrooms are furthest away from all tent sites, with only 3 stalls and 3 showers. Not a pleasant stay at all.

The most disrespected we have ever felt.Site F41 reeked of urine,no doubt because so far from bathroom. Filthy. Garbage all over and in creek. Wrong electric hookup, but we can RENT an adapter!? RVs have all the conveniences but get to be right on top of things. We have to hike. 60yr old life long tent camper, not homeless or grifting. But treated like it. Just say you dont allow tents.

I bought a tent site and I am lucky I have a rooftop tent on my car, because my site was so small there I would have had to put my tent nearly on the road. There were mounds of woodchips on the site near the fire pit, it was impossible to seat around. Luckily we were with another group that had a better sized site and we put all our chairs on their site. This is a RV park, not a campground.

This was the most expensive tent-only campsite I’ve ever encountered. And one of the worst three in 5 years of cycle-camping. Having said that, it’s a great place for mega RVs and kids. The pool / splash park is a certain hit. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, but the campground is simply not a tent-only destination.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Correct we are a glampground. We have sites for all types of RVs and glamping options. You did come on a weekend during a race which will drive up the price since we do sell out.

We called and reserved a site with 50amp service. We let them know that we were going to be plugging in our Tesla to charge and camp in the back. When we arrived, we were given a tent site that only had 30amp service. I was unable to use it, because I didn’t have the necessary adapters. We had to leave and find a Supercharger and then come back. We requested a partial refund and the reused.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

A tent site with 50 amp does not exist here so you either have us confused with another campground or you simply heard what you wanted to hear. You had a functional 30 amp site which is what was sent with the confirmation. We do not allow EV charging here.

Very easy to check in and a very clean campground. Was able to enjoy the splash pad with it being so hot and was very refreshing.

Well the site we stayed on was not at all what the description said and was horrible. We had a tent site and had a 30 amp not 120 did not say that so had to buy an adapter. Grass was not cut so made it very buggy. Would not recommend staying on a tent site here.

The tent site I got (F38) was unbelievably bad and not acceptable campsite that KOA should offer to anyone. It looked like an disgusting easement area along the fence where they asked us to put our tents. It's was a nightmare to camp there with constant traffic noise day and night and absolutely no place for the kids to play around the tent. The pitch was even next to a road. No recommended

30amp 220 outlet at a tent site... but no normal 110 plug? You can't make up something that stupid!!! Damaged our brand new tent trying to move to a different site because we couldn't use the power WE PAID FOR! Beyond expensive for what service was provided. Worst KOA experience in 10 years of camping!

If your near Greenfield IN- this KOA is clean, lots of site selections and they have done a lot of improvements.

We made a mistake with our booking and they helped us out. Great place and nice people. Highly recommend.

Our first stay @ a KOA and they've definitely set the standard high for future visits to other KOAs! Clean and well maintained grounds, incredibly friendly staff, quiet campground (even on a holiday weekend!), and wonderful amenities. Our kiddos loved the mining, the nicely paved campground roads for skating, and the ability to get dinner delivered directly to our door! Highly recommend.
