Check in was very friendly, just not very knowledgable. Tent sites are furthest from bathrooms and DARK. The site (w/ water and electric) had no water and electric. We moved (no biggee). Sites have 30 amp power. We went back to the office. We got an adapter (for a $5 deposit). It was obviously under some construction & had mud, large long roots, & other debries all over. Expensive for frustration!

We have stayed here several times on our travels. We are always very pleased. This time we had a very quiet spot right next to the dog park - perfect for our pup, Reba! Staff is very nice.

If I could give this campground & staff 10 thumbs up rather than just 5, I would! Excellent service mid-thunder storm, even delivered our pizza to us! Truly gorgeous sites. Love the log cabins, horses & goats. Close to the highway but quiet and very peaceful. The autumn colors added to the beauty and richness of the lovely site we enjoyed. This place is a must-stay, highest recommendation.

Staff was friendly and offered information once we were shown where our site was. Bathhouse was clean and the grounds were overall clean.

Site was pretty disappointing. We paid extra for a deluxe site and ended up with a site that was badly un-level. We have been on a 4 week cross country trip and this was the only site where we had to break out all of our ramps and leveling pads.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

This site has a concrete pad with an additional concrete patio it is perfectly level. We believe you are reviewing the wrong place.

Best WiFi we have ever had camping!!! We loved our stay here! The pull through deluxe site is what we had and it was perfect! Plenty of shade and space between sites and the length of the site was incredible! Also, great patios and fire pits. The pizza delivery was a nice touch and we took advantage of that during one night of our stay! And did I mention dog park! Very large and shaded!!!

It was an overnight stay this time but I have stayed here multiple times before and have never had a bad experience. Since last stay they have paved approach roads and some of the roads between sites.

This KOA is the best we have ever stayed at. The staff was incredible polite, helpful and very friendly. We felt like we were staying at a 5 star hotel. The sites were amazing and clean. The facilities were clean. All new washers/dryers in a laundry room. If you bought ice, food or wood from the store they would deliver it immediately. We highly recommend this KOA. A big thanks to all there!!

We got there late, but the office had stayed open since they we still busy. They took the time to make and deliver us a pizza to our site. We will be back…

2 nights 9/10 & 9/11/23. Nice long sites for our 38ft 5th wheel and F-350 pickup. Very pleasant stay while visiting family in the area. The cost per night was on the pricey side but it seems most KOAs are nowdays.

I loved my stay in Indy. Your lots are large with well-maintained lawns. Very easy access from the highway and easy to get to anywhere you want to go in Indy. Staff was awesome and super friendly. Will be back again!

Stayed just one night on the way through and it was perfect for our needs! Check-in on a weekday was easy, staff were friendly, and the kids LOVED the pool with slide and splash pad. We enjoyed the pizza that the staff delivered poolside. Only saw one main bath house, so pack a portable potty if you need one. Would recommend this as a nice location for a pass through Indiana!

No water due to several breaks for the majority of our stay. However, the staff were keeping us updated by text and very apologetic. Lots were clean, spread out, level, and "private". Highway noise not very noticeable except for some excessive air brakes. Staff seemed to genuinely like their jobs! And can't go wrong with ice cream, firewood, and pizza delivered to sites. We'll be back if in area!

Nice camping experience. We overnighted. Unfortunately, they had a waterline break but the were proactive to inform everyone and organize fill-ups at themain services building and we're working to repair when we left.

Facilities and staff are good however, 2 of the last 3 times we stayed, there were water issues - frozen then broken line, that resulted in us leaving a day early - expensive sites to have to leave. Have cancelled the remaining stay we had scheduled. Stays start well but have ended with frustration and we still pay for nights we don’t stay. Don’t want the frustration.

The campground had a water leak the night we stayed there so we had to fill our water tank at the office before we parked. Unfortunately our tank hasn't been used in a while and still had antifreeze in it. The worst thing was being woke up at 4:30 in the morning by the trash truck. First the back up alarm beeping woke me up, then the slamming of the dumpster several times was uncalled for.

The campground itself is extremely nice! Buddy sites (23 & 24) had headlights at night that were terrible - from other campers coming in. They would sit there for quite a while, trying to figure out where to go (blinding us the whole time). We had to direct several people to the office. Also - the generator (or whatever is by the dump station is LOUD). Seems like these sites should be discounted.

Our stay was great! The camp site was clean and everything worked as it should! We used the showers and those were very clean and well maintained! Staff was great and welcoming! We even had an escort to our site! We will definitely stay again!

Super friendly staff who acted professionally and courteously. Very clean park and well taken care of. Would be nice if people observed speed limits on the other side of the creek. Many doing 10-15 mph through our section.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Indianapolis KOA campground for two days, and we were thoroughly impressed with the facilities and amenities offered. This campground truly stands out for its top-quality features and reasonable prices. First and foremost, the range of amenities is outstanding. From two playgrounds for the kids to a 24/7 laundry facility, basketball court, and even a dog park, there's something for everyone. We especially appreciated the variety of food options available, including hand-dipped ice cream, pizza, wings, and more. The campground also offers unique activities like gem mining sluice and horse and goat feeding, which adds an extra element of fun. Additionally, there is a water park with water slides and splash park. In terms of RV accommodations, the campground provides a wide selection of sites to choose from, including pull-thru or back-in options, 30- or 50-amp electric and sewer hookups, and even KOA Patio Sites for added luxury and space. The sites were clean, level, and well-maintained, making for a comfortable stay. What really sets the Indianapolis KOA apart, though, is its exceptional value. Despite offering amenities and facilities comparable to high-end RV resorts, the prices here are incredibly reasonable. In fact, we found the facilities to be just as good, if not better, than other places we've stayed at during our travels. Overall, our experience at the Indianapolis KOA campground was nothing short of excellent. Came here to use the dump station, easy in and out. Super friendly and helpful staff. My only complaint is you have to check in at the office first and when you come out the dump is on the wrong side so you have to turn around, luckily there's enough space to do so relatively easily.
