Karen, her husband and daughter are so great. They're always very welcoming and ready to make your stay as wonderful and comfortable as possible. The park is so pretty and the themed/activities weekends are fun. We love bingo time! The kids get candy and the adults $$. LOve it! The bathrooms are super nice and showers are so nice. The cabin we stayed in was really cute and homey.

Great KOA very clean and the staff was so friendly. Cabin was super nice only complaint was the shower head had 1 setting and it was like a fire hose not relaxing.

The grounds and facilities were clean and well-kept. We enjoyed our cabin, the Cone Flower. The swimming pools were clean and refreshing. The trails and fishing pond were enjoyable. We actually caught some fish. We want to come back next year, but for a couple of days longer.

We had a great time! Our cabin was adorable. The bathrooms were kept very clean. The pool was a comfortable temperature. The owners were friendly. Lots of fun!

We have stayed here two years in a row. Love how quiet and relaxing this park is. The deluxe cabins are very cute and comfortable. The owner is nice. The people working there are very friendly. I will definitely go back again! The downfall is having to leave when the vacation is over.

The cabin was very clean and so was the area but the bugs were the worst I’ve ever experienced. I’m not sure if they spray the area but my family and I are covered despite using a lot of bug spray. Deer flies, nats and mosquitoes attacked us the moment we went out of our cabin. Thats the only reason I rated a 3/5 because it put a damper on the day, other than that the place is beautiful.

We are sorry to hear about your experience. Due to the dry weather we have had more nats lately than usual and they are drawn to certain areas. Not everyone is faced with them. Next time, get the Backyard Foggers (we carry them in the store). They work very well. Hopefully you will try us again.

I came to the Houghton KOA to visit my sister and her kids who spend the entire summer there in their camper. They LOVE it there and I finally got to see why! I came with my mother and my other sister as well and we had an amazing time together. The place is beautiful, the staff is kind and the cabin we stayed in was cozy and adorable! I loved my time here and so did the rest of my family! Thanks!

Further from Letchworth State Park than we expected however we needed a cabin big enough for us, our daughter & 3 grandchildren. The grandchildren love swimming & enjoyed the pool. The cabin is right across the road from the playground & nicely lit bathhouse with 6 individual bathrooms with a walk-in shower & a laundry mat if needed. Picnic table, firepit w/grill, backyard roomy.

Stayed in a cabin, it was wonderful. The pool was gorgeous. My family loved our visit... Definitely would recommend!

Our deluxe cabin was very clean and contained all the things that we needed. Our children loved that we had the playgrounds right next to our cabin. The fire pit area was somewhat secluded behind the cabin, which we liked. The pool was also a hit with our children. All the staff that we encountered were friendly.

Short stay. Owner acted annoyed that we showed up and had questions. Deluxe cabin was super mildew covered inside and wreaked of Lysol. Bath house was very nice.

Thank you for your review. We apologize if we came across annoyed, we gladly answer all questions once we get through the check-in process. We will look into the mildew in the Deluxe Cabin, but the cabins are cleaned daily and was just cleaned when you arrived, which is why you smelled the Lysol.
