Houghton/Letchworth is a small, quaint campground that prides itself on supporting its neighbors and building a family environment. The hosts are amazing and caring. The sites are perfect for a weekend escape! Definitely worth checking out - we come back every year!

The campground is very clean, staff were courteous and it was nice to have a deck and fireplace but we were placed right beside a family with 3 yapping dogs that would bark every time they saw us/our dogs and at anyone, or other dogs that would walk by. This was the first time we had tried a KOA as we are used to camping in Provincial Parks and State Parks where each site has more privacy.

We would have gladly spoken to the camper about their dogs, if we were made aware. Please do not be shy about letting us know in the future

We stayed here for 4 nights in mid May. What a great KOA!! Grassy areas with lots of trees. New clean bathrooms/shower facilities. Largest, cleanest dog park area of any we've seen with grass and trees. Very nice hiking trail on property for people and dogs. And, it's a straight drive 13 miles 'down the road' from Letchworth State Park. Maggie and Vance Mortensen

I love this place and we keep coming back. Nice people, great facilities and they keep improving the sites. Plus my favorite activity is fishing in their stocked pond.

Very clean, secluded, nice place to relax. The owners do a great job of maintaining the campground and are continuously working on improvements to make it even better. Owners are very personable, friendly and helpful. We love this place!

They site was good. But they didnt have everything up and running. The playground was half put together, the pool wasnt open, they didnt have any golf carts available. And the sites are very tight and had to get a camper into.

Thank you for your comments. This is the first week of the season and we were redoing one of our playgrounds, which opened on Saturday. Other playgrounds were open all weekend The pools open Memorial Day. Per your request, we put your family with a 37 foot trailer into a 36 foot site next to you.

We had rain during our entire stay and that certainly was not the campgrounds fault. Very soggy around the camper but again not the campground fault! Tom was very helpful with our tv hookup, which was greatly appreciated! All in all a decent campgrounds!!

The facility was wonderful and Tommy and Karen were great. It rained alot so we did not get out much but did manage few trips to local attractions and towns which were also great.

This is the best KOA I've stayed at (and I've been to a few dozen). Great overall experience, upkept well, lots of space/nature and friendly staff. I will definitely be back if I come to this area.

The park was very nice. Sites were spaced out very nicely. The bathroom/shower was VERY clean and well kept. We enjoyed hiking the trails.

The host was very welcoming and prepared for my arrival. An escort to my site would have been greatly appreciated instead of having to ask a fellow camper if he knew which site was mine. Hindsight, I should have requested a different site, one where the neighbors where pet friendly/tolerant. I did not feel comfortable leaving my camper.

Thank you for your comments. Sorry that you did not have the best experience. If asked, we gladly escort our campers to their sites. Unfortunately, your dogs were very loud and barked constantly. This is unfair to other campers, but in no way should you have felt uncomforable leaving your camper.

Tommy was wonderful!! He was very helpful with local stores and our needs. The park was spotless. Our site was beautiful. We will be back to stay here again and send others to stay here!!

Beautiful area. Rural, so don’t expect a lot of accessible amenities. But exactly what we were looking for/ expecting for our camping trip of sightseeing and hiking.

All of the staff were very kind and very helpful. The site was clean everything worked and had a beautiful clean all to yourself bathroom and shower we booked next year year before we left this year.

A lot of the sites need a little upgrading, Wi-Fi, cable and power very good. New bathhouse was very nice and clean. It was the end of season so very quiet. Close to letchworth state park. Yes I would stay there again.

The campground was BEAUTIFUL... bathrooms imaculate... very friendly on arrival and departure..just loved it. We will be back. Amy Roy and our dog Yaffa!!

Consider addressing the wet field across from L20 and the rutted, muddy roadway. The bathrooms were very clean and nice. We loved the hiking trails around the campground. We enjoyed the band that played near the bathrooms. The office was unmanned when I went up to purchase firewood, but someone came immediately after texting the posted number. Very nice campground. Quiet, spacious, clean site. I liked the trails and the dog park so my dogs could get exercise. I liked the band they had our last night. Conveniently located to Letchworth.

Second time visiting and it was wonderful as the 1st! Bathrooms and camp in general are VERY well kept up. Tom was very accommodating and moved my site last minute to a more desirable site as it had just became available. Will definitely be back ! My favorite KOA so far this year and I have been to 4 others.

Beautiful campground. Very clean bathrooms. Live entertainment (music) when I was there. My grandson made lots of friends and played all day and into the evening. The cable TV was a plus.

The owners were fabulous and made our later checkin easy. The only thing we did not care for was the camper spot in the middle of a group of cabins. Literally cabins on each side of the spot. It was so tight that we could hear the conversations at the picnic table right outside our bedroom in the camper.

Thank you for your comments. This is the first complaint we've heard about your site. The majority of the people love it, since it is very wide and they camp next to their family or friends in the cabins.To select your site you have to book early for Columbus Day weekend.

Due to my error we over stayed our reservation. I was faced with having to break down and leave that evening which I was prepared to do. Thankfully Tom(owner) came up with a solution that satisfied all parties. I thank him for his professionalism and consideration.
