The spots were too tight when the grounds were packed, it left very little room to maneuver. Angling the spots would have helped this. I noticed they were angled for other areas in the park for this reason. That said we made do and had a lovely time. - Thank you

first time to Homer, the campground views were amazing. Did not realize we would have a 15 minute drive to the Spit when booking, but the staff was great, amenities were very clean, and all of our neighbors on a jam-packed holiday weekend were very nice. Highly recommend!

We stayed for 3 days late June 2023. Nice campground with a great view from the cliff, very well run, everything was very clean - bathrooms, showers, laundry room and the grounds. Far superior then the most of the Spit.

The customer service was great and very helpful. I enjoyed this nice clean environment overlooking Kachemak Bay. Most importantly, all the other customers were very friendly and helpful. I will visit again in the near future.

Beautiful view of the bay from Site 6. Excellent staff and reception A couple nights of boisterous neighbors across the way beyond posted quiet hours. However, with almost 24 hours daylight 10pm may seem like 6pm.

Absolutely beautiful and stunning views. Staff was friendly and always helpful. Watched the camp host feed an eagle, majestic. Large sites. First time here, wished we had booked longer. Thanks KOA

The campground staff are helpful and friendly. The sites are spacious and have great views. The only recommendation is to clean showers and laundry area more. Definitely need deep cleaning. But otherwise great stay.

The staff was great and very helpful. The park was clean and very quiet at night. We were even looking for cleaning products due to our dog piddling in the RV and the office gave us a few Lysol wipes. Also the last day we were there, the winds were really strong. The camp host was making sure that everyone in a tent and in an RV was aware. I would gladly stay there again.

This place was an excellent location and clean environment even safety. All staff members were nice to give us the Homer information. Also, wonderful wineries and brewery outings we enjoyed it. We will be back in the future. Thank you for giving us fantastic memories. We appreciate it.

Stayed two nights in space 61. Camp is well maintained, with friendly staff. Love the full hook ups and pull through sites. AND NO WAY CAN YOU BEAT THAT VIEW!!!

This is a truly beautiful place to stay! The camp host and staff were delightful. We came down with a softball team with 8 reservations for spots, two tent spots, and two cabins. Everything was perfect and very easy to book for a group, and we ordered bulk breakfast from the grill and everything was perfect and delicious!! We will be back as a group for next years tournament.

Our dry tent site was much too small to fit a small tent, and the neighboring campers were so close that it felt like we were camping with strangers. The showers and facilities were nice, and the staff was pleasant, but I’d never again pay $40/night for a campsite like that. We ended up leaving early because we found a much nicer, more private campsite close by for 1/2 the cost.

We have nothing but good things to say about the Homer KOA. The facilities, people and the camp sights. Well established and taken care of. Wife and I will definitely be going back. We have a favorite campsite (secret) which everyone knows. Lol. A special thanks to Wayne the camp host. He is very engaging and a lot of fun. Everyone there is great. Thanks for the good times. We also saw whales.

I can’t say enough about the Beautiful view! We stayed two nights in June. Besides the beauty it’s super clean and such friendly people. This will definitely be our favorite when in Homer.

Beautiful view! Lois, in the front office, was very pleasant and helpful. Wayne, the camp host, would "call" the eagles down out of the trees for photos. Nice, clean individual shower rooms.

We were greeted with incredible views the minute we pulled into the campground! We originally had wanted to book a site at Heritage campground on the spit, but they were full so my boyfriend booked here. I am SO glad he did! We had such a wonderful experience here. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The campground and facilities were always clean (they have a big laundry room, 4 separate shower rooms, additional restrooms, and a dish washing station). The site we had (#12) was a back-in patio site and was overlooking the bluffs and had incredible views. Our trailer is 34ft and we had plenty of room at the site, including space to park the truck next to our trailer. The site had a clean grill provided, BBQ tools, propane tank, a firepit, and a table with 4 very comfortable chairs. We had full hookups at this site too. We stayed for 4 nights but could have easily stayed much longer. I had to work the last day we were there and the wifi was strong and reliable. I'm a light sleeper...so was very grateful this campground was very quiet. If you want to party and get loud...this isn't the campground for you. But if you're looking for a clean, quiet, beautiful camping experience...this is the one! We will 100% be back!
