Southbound from Anchorage: At the Seward cutoff, go right toward Homer/Soldotna/Kenai through Cooper Landing to the end of the road. KOA is at mile 169, the first driveway shared with the Tesoro station. Keep right. If you crest the hill, you've gone too far (but the view will be spectacular!).

My favorite place to take people is the Norman Lowell Gallery.
From the outside of the building, you would never guess the treasures inside, the beauty, the peaceful sanctuary as you view the Alaska collection of a homesteader who loves Alaska and his creator. Over the years I have taken many people there. Even people who do not appreciate art are amazed. They have told me multiple times, that it rivals any of the galleries from around the world.
