Southbound from Anchorage: At the Seward cutoff, go right toward Homer/Soldotna/Kenai, through Cooper Landing, to the end of the road. KOA is at mile 169, the first driveway shared with the Marathon station. Keep right. If you crest the hill, you've gone too far (but the view will be spectacular!).

2025 brought many Fur Babies to the park. What we observed was many distressed fur babies, and barking for hours while the owners were away. This was distressing for other guest and to park staff.
Our solution is:
1. We do provide dog walkers. Set it up with office staff when you check in.
2. Make Sure we have both cell phone numbers so we can contact you in a timely manner.
3. There are Doggy Day Cares available near the park and around Homer. Great for a long day away.
