By far the best camping trip we’ve ever done. We camp a lot during the warmer weather and this was the first time at this camp ground. Loved the fact that we could rent kayaks. The staff was very friendly and went above to make sure we were satisfied which made the trip 10X better. �ϋ� Thanks y’all!

This is a nice camp ground. Helpful staff let us borrow an adapter. We wish we could have stayed longer. The only thing is it really isn’t big rig friendly. There is absolutely no way we could have fit in the spot reserved for us. The spot was 29. We possibly could have fit fine in 30 but that spot was taken. We managed to fit into 4 with some maneuvering. We have a 43 foot motor home.

We always love our stay there at Lakeside KOA! It has become one of our very favorite places to camp!! We will be back soon!!

The only complaint is the vulgar language every night that was never dealt with along with mooning our side from same site! The pot smoking on check out day was rediculous from site 7! Reported to office both situations. Hoping it was a fluke for this stay. Your campgrounds are very well kept and we had perfect site! Loved the locked gate. We would definitely come back.

Quiet, peaceful and totally laid back. We had a deluxe patio site and I think it was the nicest site we have had in 40 years of camping at KOA’s. The staff ware all very nice. We hopefully will return in the there soon.

Campground was very clean and well maintained. Staff are friendly. Had the campground pretty much all to my self so I can't speak on what it's like when it's booked up. Definitely coming back in the future.

Enjoyed the peace and quiet. Was a great “getaway”. Our two dogs enjoyed the walks that we took each time. We have already reserved another stay in Sept! Loved it!!

Campsite was very good! Camp ground seemed well taken care of. Very little interaction with the staff, but they seemed ok. Would recommend that at some point in time, maybe adding more camping inventory to the check in area. Maybe an upgrade to that area and restrooms

I was in spot 12. The stairs leading down to the water are slick. The last step at the water is tilting downward. I slipped and fell and injured my back. I am currently being evaluated. Suggest maybe correcting the final step to level.

We stayed at site 12, one of the sites that has a deck and stairs that descend into the lake. It was a calm, peaceful stay in April. I do wish the site offered sewer, but the dump station was not too far away - bring your portable tank. Although this location does not have all the amenities and frills of other KOA's that we have stayed at, it makes up for it with the view!!! :)

Very nice and clean, great access to the lake for fishing. Sites are easy to pull in and out of and of a nice size. Could use a little stronger WiFi at some point.

Loved it. Stayed on a spacious site, was not crowded during the week (still springtime), showers were good with great water pressure. Washer a dryers close and new. Text communications were great. Looking forward to coming back in 30 days. Thank you.

Young kids on golf carts all day and night long. Screaming, unsafe. No oversight on grounds. Store lacked items compared to other KOA’s. Beautiful location however we will not return. Fire pit had mess from fire campers. Very disappointed. My first negative response at any of the KOA’s we stayed at.

We loved the lakeside site. Very beautiful area. Clear water was welcomed after camping at other GA lakes where the water was so brown you couldn’t see an inch deep. We enjoyed walking the various loops. It would be nice to have sites with sewers, but that is not a major issue. The dumping station was well maintained and easy to use. It was a pleasant stop!

Would love to see a bath house in the area where tent camping near sites 48-50 for easier access without driving for ones that have health issues otherwise is a very clean well kept campground.

This is one of the best camping places we have been to. Hartwell lakeside KOA has excellent camping options. Great Lake views. Restrooms are clean. Kids play area. Dog park. Variety of sites to fit your camping preferences. The staff is really friendly and provide great service. We have camped here 3 times and always recommend to our friends and family. I would anytime come back and camp here.
