the stay was good we did have a problem with the power box not being the right amp and burnt up are plug witch the park refused to replace

I arrived late and left early so unfortunately I never got to meet anyone working, but my entire check in and check out process was handled via text and it was extremely easy. All of the campsites were beautiful, and walking down to the lake for the sunset was so nice. My campsite was right next to all of the teepees which were also very cool!

Other than some areas being a little congested, our stay was quite enjoyable. We were staying on site #23. There were 2 picnic tables on the site and the one on the upper level took up allot of room, especially having 2 slide outs. A newer table on the lower level would have been more than enough. Most site only had one table.

Great time! Wish there were more trails, but being so close to other parks and offerings made this a non issue. Conveniently located, easy check in, great time!

The location was great, and the staff at check-in was excellent. I was a little disappointed with the quality of the restrooms. It was a busy holiday weekend, but the restrooms needed attention. The toilet paper was empty in a few stalls, there was excess water from poor drainage on the floors, and they both needed a deep clean. Quiet hours weren't really adhered to, but again, it was a holiday.

Overall our stay was very good however checking in after hours was made a little difficult as the campsites are not very well marked circled the park twice until we finally found ours.

Was very nice to stay at the cabin! Beautiful view, everything set up inside: water, shower, toilet, microwave, fridge, Wi-Fi, beds. Love it!

Best campground we've stayed at. Recommended improvements: 1) late check-in package (email sent 30 mins before office closed-no access to wifi to read our email). 2) Update support line message, states text "Help" to # - IT SHOULD say "text Help with your site number or last name for assistance & follow-up. 3) boost wifi signal for use at sites - ended up sitting at bath house for signal/speed.

Harley, Nathan, and Cory are amazing. They are more helpful and accomodating than we have experienced at other parks in our extensive travels. Other campers with loose dogs, not so great. Setting is absolutely gorgeous. Did not use restrooms but based on employee attitude am certain they are in good shape.

Campground was very clean.loved site 32. Staff very helpful during our stay Only thing was bounce pad was deflated and Grand kids little disapointed.other that see you soon

we stayed in spot 9, with a travel trailer... it was great...i wish they can add more activities, or maybe a pool area, in the future...right now is not to much difference between a state park and a KOA...except the gate....some extras will boost the campground potential...and this campground it has plenty of it to become gorgeous...

The staff was very polite and helpful. We didn't chose our site and upon arrival, we loved it! it was in the shade and right on the water. We couldn't ask for more.

Had a whole fiasco with a downed tree blocking the road to our. Took over an hour to be told what sites we could park in for the night. Moved to our assigned site the next morning and it had trash on it and the set up of the table and fire pit was on the opposite side of the door and awning of our camper. It put a negative vibe on our weekend.

This was our first start with Hartwell KOA and we've already booked our next stay. It was clean, easy to check in and out of, and absolutely beautiful!

Lovely campground, wonderful lake views, well maintained facilities. We would definitely add this to our favorite campgrounds list. My only negative comment would be that the shower facilities are too small for having only a few full hook up sites especially for longer stays.

We had a wonderful time exploring this area of Georgia. Lake Hartwell by pontoon boat was an adventure. Everyone we met at the KOA was very friendly and accommodating. A great time was had by all! Thank you! Accommodations

Beautiful site right on the water. We totally enjoyed the visits with the birds in the morning. It was a beautiful shaded space. We loved it and will be back

Some of the sites still need some TLC, need to be graded to give a more level ground. I had 4 inches of blocks and still wasn’t enough to level the camper. Over all was very nice

This is one of the best camping places we have been to. Hartwell lakeside KOA has excellent camping options. Great Lake views. Restrooms are clean. Kids play area. Dog park. Variety of sites to fit your camping preferences. The staff is really friendly and provide great service. We have camped here 3 times and always recommend to our friends and family. I would anytime come back and camp here.
