The buildings and camp area were extremely well maintained. KOA representatives were beyond friendly and made us feel like we were sharing a part of their home.

I understand the appeal of late/after hours check in, but there should be quiet hours and/or a cut off. On the first night of my stay, a group showed up to the campsite directly next to us around 10pm and started setting up very loudly until almost midnight.

We love staying here. It is always clean and comfortable and the staff is friendly. But this time we had an issue both nights with noise. There were people up drinking in the cabin area until 12:30 and they were loud. The night before it was some people in a tent that were up until 3:30am talkiing loudly and smoking. Just wanted to let you know. We will be back for sure, but wanted to let you know

The campground is well-kept. The bathrooms are very clean. We stayed in the tent area and enjoyed our location in the campground.

I was thrilled to be able to pitch my tent in a green grassy area that looked more like a park than a campsite. The facilities were clean and inviting. The staff were gracious and and very helpful. All of the other campers were respectful of sound and privacy.

Amazing campground! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Campground located very near to downtown Grand Lake and RMNP. Facilities were very well kept and immaculately clean. Included a game room, lounge, outdoor corn hole, dog park, playground and dish washing area. Camp store had everything you needed. Just an overall great place to camp.

Beautiful views, peaceful stay. Appreciate the clean bathrooms and the TV room was great especially with the high winds.

Always a great camp ground and well run! I would recommend that you have more wagons available to use for Tent sites 3-5 maybe around 4 or so, especially on Sundays where they were in heavy use, and one cart had blown tire as well. Other than that love the bear boxes! Those are fantastic!

We had a very enjoyable stay. The people running the campground were very friendly and helpful. Facilities (bathroom and showers) were very clean and well maintained. I would recommend this campground to anyone.

We were originally booked for one night as we were set to go to a backpacking site the next night. Due to weather, we decided to book an additional night at the KOA and were very glad we did. The sites were in good condition and the bathrooms were clean. It’s always nice to have showers after a long hike.

The hosts were amazing and very helpful. The KOA was clean and well stocked. Our tent site was perfect with an awesome view. We can't wait to book another stay here.

The office staff greeted us with kind words and information about the campground and useful info about not approaching wild life like moose, elk, or etc because of possible wariness of the animal who might be protecting its calf. The facilities were so so clean and the game room, tv rooms and play areas were each super cool to use. We will go again.

1.I stayed in the tent area, but the tents were so close together that I didn’t feel any privacy and was uncomfortable. I ended up moving my car and sleeping in it right by the bathroom. 2.The campground had signs everywhere threatening fines for almost any reason. It felt more hostile than welcoming. For the nearly $70 I paid, I’d say it wasn’t worth the experience.

We apologize if you had a negative experience, but want to confirm you have the correct campground because we don't have parking right by the bathroom, nor do we have any signs about fines, and our tent sites run about $60 a night. Could you be thinking of another campground in the area?

Our tent site was very small and crammed against the other sites. The tent pad needed maintenance and was eroding/ not level. There was another large group of people who were very loud and playing loud music/karaoke that the entire facility could hear. Honestly, I have stayed here at a different tent site before and enjoyed myself, but I would not come back based on my most recent experience.

Fairly quiet area. Not a fan of not parking by tent site, just requires more trips to/from the car. Campsite 6 did not have a great spot for your tent. People would also walk between our tent and our picnic table due to location of parking area. Would also walk right in front of our tent to get to their campsite from the bathroom- and within 2’ of tent. Only bonus was we had a bear proof box.

you advertise as an amenity, 50amps power available. nowhere does it say not available at tent sites. if i had known that i would have opted for an RV space with electricity. the whole wagon thing was a pain to try to do

Very clean and staff was friendly! Campground was very noisy! Our second night an rv had his tv so loud that you could hear it everywhere even away from the campground! Only complaint!

If you are looking to camp near RMNP or Grand Lake, this is the place to stay. A clean campground with friendly and attentive staff. The facilities are top notch. It is close proximity to RMNP. Wildlife will walk right up to the campsite.

I loved this campground. Well kept and with so many things to do!!! The location is also amazing and just a step away from beautiful areas to go visiting and hiking. We also saw a few Mooses and it was magical��I will go back in the future for sure!!!

The family facilities are great. However, the bear boxes are useless and should not be relied upon. A nearby site left their trash out, attracting a bear. Once it finished at that site, it then broke into our bear box, which was properly latched and locked; however it was not spring loaded like it should be. Shame on us for not recognizing that, but shame on KOA for inadequate boxes.

It’s a great little spot however there is not much privacy at the tent sites. You can hear everything around you. I understand it’s a family friendly campsite and I appreciate that however it was tough to get much sleep with all the noise if you’re looking for a lot of privacy, I would not recommend this site. Bathrooms and facilities were clean!

We had a great stay! Everything was so clean and organized! The amenities included are so convenient and the game room was so much fun! Would highly recommended staying at the KOA in Grand Lake :)

Stayed here for 2 nights. Great RV park with lovely, helpful staff and good and clean bathroom facilities. Located halfway between National park entrance and the town/lake. The park itself is very well maintained. Would be happy to stay there again.

We stayed about four nights at this KOA Campground. We were very happy with most parts of it. Restrooms were clean and spacious and water spigots were high enough for tall people like us and hot water was not a problem. Office Personnel were very nice, helpful and congenial. The grounds for the most part were well taken care of and maintained. Our main issue was the lack of maintenance of vegetation and branches on the site we had to back into. Branches scratched up our RV and we were not able to park our vehicle in the space with our trailer due to the untrimmed branches on either side of the RV spot. Otherwise, the Campground was nice to walk through, pleasant on the eyes, and very close to Rocky Mountain National Park which was a priority for us.

Instantly at home — a spotless, welcoming base for Rocky Mountain trips-. What a friendly welcome at the Grand Lake / Rocky Mountain National Park KOA Journey. You feel at home right away. The sites are exceptionally clean and lovingly set up. A really good fire pit with its own seating, and a second terrace with everything you could want for RV camping. The staff are exceptionally friendly, no matter where you're from, and help you with a smile at any time. The perfect RV campground for extended Rocky Mountain trips. So don't hesitate — just go.
