The hosts were amazing and very helpful. The KOA was clean and well stocked. Our tent site was perfect with an awesome view. We can't wait to book another stay here.

The office staff greeted us with kind words and information about the campground and useful info about not approaching wild life like moose, elk, or etc because of possible wariness of the animal who might be protecting its calf. The facilities were so so clean and the game room, tv rooms and play areas were each super cool to use. We will go again.

1.I stayed in the tent area, but the tents were so close together that I didn’t feel any privacy and was uncomfortable. I ended up moving my car and sleeping in it right by the bathroom. 2.The campground had signs everywhere threatening fines for almost any reason. It felt more hostile than welcoming. For the nearly $70 I paid, I’d say it wasn’t worth the experience.

We apologize if you had a negative experience, but want to confirm you have the correct campground because we don't have parking right by the bathroom, nor do we have any signs about fines, and our tent sites run about $60 a night. Could you be thinking of another campground in the area?

Our tent site was very small and crammed against the other sites. The tent pad needed maintenance and was eroding/ not level. There was another large group of people who were very loud and playing loud music/karaoke that the entire facility could hear. Honestly, I have stayed here at a different tent site before and enjoyed myself, but I would not come back based on my most recent experience.

Fairly quiet area. Not a fan of not parking by tent site, just requires more trips to/from the car. Campsite 6 did not have a great spot for your tent. People would also walk between our tent and our picnic table due to location of parking area. Would also walk right in front of our tent to get to their campsite from the bathroom- and within 2’ of tent. Only bonus was we had a bear proof box.

Be prepared for very cold summer night temperatures. Difficult to navigate the property at night. Fairly clean bathrooms.

Great campground! Everything was clean and welcoming. I loved the little stream going through the campground and the stars are beautiful at night, if there are no clouds!

you advertise as an amenity, 50amps power available. nowhere does it say not available at tent sites. if i had known that i would have opted for an RV space with electricity. the whole wagon thing was a pain to try to do

Very clean and staff was friendly! Campground was very noisy! Our second night an rv had his tv so loud that you could hear it everywhere even away from the campground! Only complaint!

If you are looking to camp near RMNP or Grand Lake, this is the place to stay. A clean campground with friendly and attentive staff. The facilities are top notch. It is close proximity to RMNP. Wildlife will walk right up to the campsite.

I loved this campground. Well kept and with so many things to do!!! The location is also amazing and just a step away from beautiful areas to go visiting and hiking. We also saw a few Mooses and it was magical��I will go back in the future for sure!!!

The family facilities are great. However, the bear boxes are useless and should not be relied upon. A nearby site left their trash out, attracting a bear. Once it finished at that site, it then broke into our bear box, which was properly latched and locked; however it was not spring loaded like it should be. Shame on us for not recognizing that, but shame on KOA for inadequate boxes.

It’s a great little spot however there is not much privacy at the tent sites. You can hear everything around you. I understand it’s a family friendly campsite and I appreciate that however it was tough to get much sleep with all the noise if you’re looking for a lot of privacy, I would not recommend this site. Bathrooms and facilities were clean!

We had a great stay! Everything was so clean and organized! The amenities included are so convenient and the game room was so much fun! Would highly recommended staying at the KOA in Grand Lake :)

This KOA was one of the nicest we’ve ever stayed at. Clean bathrooms, showers and common areas. The camp grounds were beautifully maintained and there was plenty to keep my 7 year old active and engaged for our entire 4 day stay. The staff were so nice and helpful in every way! We will definitely be back as this is now our favorite KOA!!!

We were warned of bear sightings (they have cute bear reference yellow signs and they are funny) but didn’t see any, except some Moose crept thru the campgrounds real early in the morning! Gorgeous views and so close to the Rocky Mtn National Park! Plus, we did a day trip to Grand Lake marina and it was awesome. Highly recommend this KOA - all the amenities you could need, and the sights!

This is our second stay at a KOA and I am a believer. The staff were all super-friendly and helpful. The campground itself was in a great location, well-organized and quiet. We’re definitely coming back again!

I loved how clean and well maintened the entire camp site is! Especially common areas such as bathrooms! The employees were very friendly and helpful too. The map online and provided during check-in is accurate. Only thing that was 5/5 was the bridges the wagon has to go over in the futher tent section feel a little small. one wrong move and the wagon could topple into water. Perhaps gaurd rails

Great property and clean amenities. The only rule that was hard was not being able to take the dog in the bathroom with you. I understand not in the shower areas for sure, but sometimes it was difficult to get a bathroom break in.

The facilities were always clean and staff were helpful in answering questions. The campstore was very affordable so that one did not need to go to town for minor items. The dishwashing station, grill and picnic tables made it easy to enjoy our meals each day. The tent site was on grass which was most enjoyable. The game room was terrific too. All in all, this was a terrific KOA.

We loved this park when it was Elk Creek Campground. It is now a KOA and we still love it. They've added some nice patio sites and made many improvements. This is the only place we will stay when visiting Rocky Mountain National Park from Grand Lake.

We enjoyed our one night stay here (rooftop tent). Showers were extremely nice! Staff super friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location, excellent service, super friendly staff. Wonderful campsite. We traveled over 5000 miles on a month West road trip, and this was by far the nicest KOA that we stopped at. Staff was super beautiful campsites nice and shady very private, and not stacked on top of each other. And the public facilities for the bathrooms and showers and laundry were in excellent shape.
