It is a very pretty park and the location is great. It was practically empty and we got put into a site with mud pits all around us (it was like someone dug trenches and left it) and construction on the site next to us. At 9am they started using equipment right while I was on work calls. We worked at a KOA and this would have been unacceptable. It’s unbelievable we paid almost $100 for that site

Thankfully this KOA is about .5 miles from where I grew up and where my brother and sister live today. We have been using KOA for many years and have done a lot of traveling with them and this rates at the top. The bathrooms here are spotless, and roomy! The staff here are super friendly, and the spots are amazing!! Nothing like waking with a cup of coffee and a moose in your camp spot. ;-)

Everyone who works at this campgrounds is friendly and always helpful. The facility is super clean. Watching the moose go strolling by is always magical. The grandkids look forward to the pond in hopes of seeing Bubbles! And we all enjoyed a few games of pool in the evening. This KOA campgrounds is #THE BEST

Everyone was very friendly and we enjoyed the extra amenities while we were there. We really appreciate the extra time we were allowed to stay past our check out time so we could finish laundry

Wonderful campground. Right at the entrance to RMNP. Beautiful scenery. Private campsites. Clean facilities. Only complaint was that we pretty far from the bathroom.

The Grand Lake KOA has become our favorite respite in Colorado. This was our second stay. The park is lovely with quirky sites and wilderness surrounding. The staff is super helpful and friendly. The easy access to Grand Lake and surrounding area is a real perk. We enjoy hiking area trails, eating in town, and staring at the stars all from a conveniently comfortable camp grounds.

We stayed in RV slot 19 which is a “deluxe” site but it was horrible. The site had a deck that was not built any kind of code that I’m aware of - the deck surface is sagging in the middle because there is no bracing, the handrail is super flimsy and the entire deck and steps leading up to it are major tripping hazards. The fire pit is terrible with shoddy concrete work. I won’t stay there

Wow! A new local favorite place to go camping. Cute campground-clean, private and really nice people that work there. Only a mile from the town of Grand Lake with cute shops and places to eat. We will be back!

Another great time staying at Grand Lake KOA. Park is very clean and camp site are not to close together. Location to RMNP is perfect. Early mornings in the park did not disappoint with Elk and moose viewing.

Absolutely beautiful campground. We came up for one last time before the season ended. Leaves turning made it especially memorable. Very nice office/store, very clean bathrooms and showers. Super friendly and helpful staff.

Very nice campground! All RV sites are back-in, and all are arranged around the existing trees and shrubbery to give each site privacy from the next. The staff were all so helpful and friendly. I will definitely stay here again!

The campground was so beautiful. Surrounded with sights, smells and sounds of fall. Beautiful fall colors and the fresh air combined with the elk bugleing. The employees are helpful and the bubble machine driving around was a great hit with my grandkids! We even saw " Bubbles" at the pond. Also, the facility is super clean, well supplied. Big thank you to everyone working there Best#Fall#Camping

We loved it here - general store had everything we might have needed, game room and TV room were clean and looked really fun (we didn’t use them), the dog park was a great addition… the grounds were nice and quiet and very well maintained. We will definitely be back!

We spent 5 nights with our travel trailer for a family get away. Absolutely beautiful campground. Close to the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park and to Grand Lake Co. We had a great time and are booked for next year already.

Beautiful sites, separate and private, spacious and clean, easy to access. The campground is clean and pretty. The dump station is so convenient, they even provide a sewer hose to use to dump so you don’t have to get out your own, so quick and convenient. They have a little store there where we bought firewood. This is a fantastic place to stay, we loved it. The owners were very helpful, friend

I am giving it a 4+ for two reasons. The WiFi bandwidth was not adequate to allow us to stream any tv. And the site was unlevel and we did not have enough room to adequately back up our 26 foot trailer and take it off the truck properly. We should have asked for another spot in hindsight. Everything else about the campground was superb. The setting, the friendliness of the staff, etc.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Great RV park with lovely, helpful staff and good and clean bathroom facilities. Located halfway between National park entrance and the town/lake. The park itself is very well maintained. Would be happy to stay there again.

We stayed about four nights at this KOA Campground. We were very happy with most parts of it. Restrooms were clean and spacious and water spigots were high enough for tall people like us and hot water was not a problem. Office Personnel were very nice, helpful and congenial. The grounds for the most part were well taken care of and maintained. Our main issue was the lack of maintenance of vegetation and branches on the site we had to back into. Branches scratched up our RV and we were not able to park our vehicle in the space with our trailer due to the untrimmed branches on either side of the RV spot. Otherwise, the Campground was nice to walk through, pleasant on the eyes, and very close to Rocky Mountain National Park which was a priority for us.

Instantly at home — a spotless, welcoming base for Rocky Mountain trips-. What a friendly welcome at the Grand Lake / Rocky Mountain National Park KOA Journey. You feel at home right away. The sites are exceptionally clean and lovingly set up. A really good fire pit with its own seating, and a second terrace with everything you could want for RV camping. The staff are exceptionally friendly, no matter where you're from, and help you with a smile at any time. The perfect RV campground for extended Rocky Mountain trips. So don't hesitate — just go.
