The staff was very helpful and friendly. The KOA was just a few miles from entry into RM National Park. The sites divided by bushes and trees. The best part was a moose and her calf were one site over one night. Didn’t bother anyone.

Everyone was very helpful and the park was just a few minutes from entry inti RM National Park. The only exception was no early checkin if site was ready, compared to other KOAs. 12:00 sharp.

Mel and her husband were so friendly! They made check in easy and were friendly every time we saw them. The campground was clean and very nicely maintained, it was quiet and a great place to stay. The location to town was excellent and we will definitely be back.

Very friendly staff, location, location,location. Restrooms very clean and only complaint would be dump station water connection unusable for intended use.

Front desk and maintenance staff were great - friendly and efficient. The problem is the variability in sites. We were in 44 which is not good, fire-pit, picnic table area not level and overrun with weeds at the back of the site. The sites all around us had much more space and seemed to be worth the price. Suggest some work on the sites that aren't good. I'm sure the staff knows them.

Great staff and great place to just do an overnighter. However the actual sites aren’t very nice; limited trees so sunny and HOT; but lots of bushes maybe giving some privacy but terrible for any views and good for mosquitoes. Remove bushes and plant some trees would be my recommendation. Clean bathrooms and showers as always with KOA! Great trip Rocky Mtn pulling camper to Estes…left at 06

Der Empfang war sehr freundlich, sehr schöne Stellplätze für die RV's und das direkt am Rand des Nationalparks. Leider waren wir nur für eine Nacht dort. Es hätte noch einen Tag länger dauern können, um die schmucke Ortschaft Grand Lake besser zu erkunden.

Nice campground in a beautiful area close to Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park, friendly and helpful staff, nice dog park. We would stay there again.

We have stayed at Elk Creek Campground, a family run RV park, for years. When they sold to KOA we were uncertain as to whether or not it would be the same experience. We are happy to report that we loved it just as much as before. There were a few changes, but most of them positive. We hope the rates will not increase out of our budget - but until then - we will stay once or twice every year. Than

The only negative is that it was hard to get to hookups because they were downslope from the parking pad. However, it’s kind of expected since the park is located on a mountain! This was the friendliest and most helpful staff we have encountered while camping. We lost power at the camp for a short time but staff was quick to cruise through the camp and let us know it was throughout.

We enjoyed our stay and the staff were nice and helpful. A little disappointed we couldn't get a sewer hookup and thought the store was a little small and didn't offer a alot of items. We will definitely return in the future. Loved all the wildlife and atmosphere.

We have camped here for the last 5 years. The staff and KOA are new. All of the staff were pleasant and our campsite was great. Truly appreciate the clean facilities, restrooms, showers and public areas. I notified them of a problem in the restroom It was fixed immediately. Thank you for making 2023 visit another success and we had a great vacation.

The campground was beautiful and perfectly located both near the national park as well as the town. It was quiet. The facilities were well-maintained. The staff for fun and pleasant. My only suggestion is to add significantly more clothing hooks to the men’s bathroom, especially in the sink area and in the stalls.

We only stayed for our last night before our flight home. We wished we had stayed longer, All was great from arrival to leaving peaceful friendly and professional. And we even managed to be greeted by the resident Lady Moose which really made our trip. check in was easy.

We had previously stayed at this campground before it became a KOA. They kept everything that was good about the original campground and improved upon it. Restrooms, facilities, utilities, everything was great!

NOT DOG FRIENDLY - dog tolerant at best. Unsafe campsite - a stub of a post near the water and electric. I tripped, twisted knee & strained back. Advertised "HONEYWAGON service," only operates on Tue, Thr & Sat - obviously the only 3 days that tanks are ever full. "Nice," but passive-aggressive non-responsive staff. WIFI is horrible. I WANT MY MONEY BACK! Ruined our vacation! Very creative excuses

Everything was great. The staff was awesome. My only issue was WiFi. I couldn’t get it to work the entire stay. I finally went to the Hub in Grand Lake. It worked great there. So I’d recommend a further upgrade to avoid DNS errors, Jim

Great stay!! Very relaxing. We were discussing if we might see moose this trip then 3 walked past our camp table. Park was clean and all utilities were top notch!

This is the nicest KOA we have ever stayed in. Many spaces are shady. All have seating. The people who work there keep it spotless and are very friendly. When a moose settled in between some sites they came around and told everyone. They also make sure everyone is very bear aware. You do have to be escorted to your site, so you may wait for a few minutes, but they have good reasons for this!

Nice place, good Wi-Fi, lots to do. Bring bug spray (this is in no means against the campground). All other camp campgrounds have mosquitoes this time of year.

Clean bathrooms and showers always. We stayed 7 nights and had at least 1 moose often one with a baby walk past or camper every night we we there. Dark sky area, quiet and we saw the fireworks on Juky 4 th from the campground. Access to the RMNP less than 5 minutes. We often drove there at duck for critters. Laundry and all other KOA services were great. Friendly helpful staff. Will be back!

Staff was so incredibly kind and helpful to check in on us as it was our first time out with our new camper. I can't imagine a kinder staff! The grounds are nicely kept and facilities are impeccably clean! We had a fantastic stay! Thank you!

We stayed here a great deal of the summer and its is an AWESOME place. The camground location is pristine. It's one mile from the western gateway of RMNP. Moose travel through the campground on a weekly basis. The owners, managers, and staff are passionate about doing whatever necessary to ensure your stay is great. The amenities are top notch. You've gotta stay here if you want to visit RMNP.
