This was our sixth consecutive summer to stay at this campground; we have already booked our 2026 stay. The campground is beautiful. The staff works very hard to maintain the grounds, which are immaculate. They are friendly and offer a helping hand in maneuvering into your site. This is our favorite place. Thank you for all the hard work!

The family facilities are great. However, the bear boxes are useless and should not be relied upon. A nearby site left their trash out, attracting a bear. Once it finished at that site, it then broke into our bear box, which was properly latched and locked; however it was not spring loaded like it should be. Shame on us for not recognizing that, but shame on KOA for inadequate boxes.

Throughly enjoyable - from the phone call granting our request for an upgrade to every day we enjoyed our MOA site, our stay was darn near perfect. Next time (which there will be) we would love to try site 30 - way away and “in the woods”. Thank you to everyone who keeps this park immaculate, sincerely appreciated!

Thank you for a wonderful family vacation! The KOA was clean and fun for the kids! We loved the trout pond and seeing Bubbles!! We will be back soon!!

We had a wonderful time at this KOA, which is conveniently located between Grand Lake and the RMNP boundary. The campground is very well kept, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the amenities are clean and easily accessible. Showers were warm, clean, and private. Playground and lawn games areas were a plus! The 'resident' momma moose and her calf also made this such a memorable stay!

Beautiful view from our campsite 52. Downside is so sunny in the am and noise from the playground. Everyone was so nice. The showers are clean with hot water and privacy. Everything is so green �. We will come again. Thank you.

My family and I have been camping at Elk Creek for 40 years. We just had our family reunion there for the first time in years and the campground was awesome. Family/kid friendly and all the good vibes you'd expect. We love it and can't wait to go back next year.

The folks here are so helpful. My husband is handicapped and I'm justvkearning about backing up the trailer and they were so helpful. I also had to alter my stay and they were extremely helpful

It was wonderful. The weather was in the 70's during the day and 40's at night. Our site was a beautiful scenery of the mountains. A mule deer come through the campsite. We enjoyed ourselves very much!

It’s a great little spot however there is not much privacy at the tent sites. You can hear everything around you. I understand it’s a family friendly campsite and I appreciate that however it was tough to get much sleep with all the noise if you’re looking for a lot of privacy, I would not recommend this site. Bathrooms and facilities were clean!

As usual our stay was great! Upon arrival the water connection failed to turn off after we initially turned it on. The camp attendants were on it ASAP and made a temporary repair that solved the problem. The facilities were clean and the staff was extremely friendly. I absolutely enjoy this campground every year over the Independence Day Holiday! Thank you!

This KOA was one of the nicest we’ve ever stayed at. Clean bathrooms, showers and common areas. The camp grounds were beautifully maintained and there was plenty to keep my 7 year old active and engaged for our entire 4 day stay. The staff were so nice and helpful in every way! We will definitely be back as this is now our favorite KOA!!!

The area is of course, beautiful, although camping cabins 1-4 don't have much view at all. The full size bed in the camping cabin we had was the loudest mattress we have ever slept on. Every one in the cabin would wake up in the night if we shifted, rolled over, or God forbid, got up. You seriously need to change out these mattresses.

We had a great site. The end site was awesome with a beautiful view. Hosts were very friendly and kind. They were out of syrup in their store, so they gave us the last of their syrup from their fridge. Nice quiet KOA, would stay again.

I will recommend this stay only if you are more transparent in the payment. The cabin space is for 4 people but you charge for 2 adults and additional charge for another 2 adults or 2 kids. This is not right. You better say this is how much it will cost for the cabin for 4 people. So your marketing strategy is not working..people know how to do the numbers

We loved this campground! The staff was friendly, grounds were very clean, activities for the kids. We stayed in cabin 10 and tent site 5. Location was perfect. The tent was right behind the cabin. The fire ring for tent 5 was in a little clearing near the pond surrounded by trees. The bathrooms/showers exceeded our expectations. We didn’t get to see the moose, hopefully next time!

We had a level gravel site with well located utilities. The site felt secluded with native foliage on two sides. The laundry and shower facilities were very clean and the staff helpful and friendly. We had moose walk thru our camp two of the four days we stayed which was exciting.

Stayed for 3 nights in a cabin. The property and the hosts were both wonderful. We really enjoyed our stay. Its a beautifull setting extremely close to the park. We even saw 2 moose!

Loved it! It's in such a beautiful and convenient spot to both the town of Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park. The campground is very well maintained and clean and unlike so many other places these days, it's well-staffed. There is also a nice playground for the kids as well as games like cornhole. Highly recommend!

We loved this park when it was Elk Creek Campground. It is now a KOA and we still love it. They've added some nice patio sites and made many improvements. This is the only place we will stay when visiting Rocky Mountain National Park from Grand Lake.

We enjoyed our one night stay here (rooftop tent). Showers were extremely nice! Staff super friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location, excellent service, super friendly staff. Wonderful campsite. We traveled over 5000 miles on a month West road trip, and this was by far the nicest KOA that we stopped at. Staff was super beautiful campsites nice and shady very private, and not stacked on top of each other. And the public facilities for the bathrooms and showers and laundry were in excellent shape.
