Our second time here. The campground is scenic and clean. and the staff were all friendly and helpful. We had to check out a day early due to a water leak at home and they refunded us a day, which I know is not policy, but we sure appreciated that. We will be back for sure.

The park is so close to RMNP. The campsites are very big and very private. One of my favorite KOA campgrounds.

The folks here went above & beyond. Our awning became detached &the hardware store near by was open only 2 hours a day & of course we didn’t get there in time. They loaned us a ladder & brought all the screws & nuts they had to help fix it. Not sure what we would have done without the help. The only improvement that could be made there would be the dog run, the fence is too short for lrg dogs.

The was an impressive KOA for being in such a small town. The staff was great and the grounds were well maintained. It was nice to have some space between sites.

I was thrilled to be able to pitch my tent in a green grassy area that looked more like a park than a campsite. The facilities were clean and inviting. The staff were gracious and and very helpful. All of the other campers were respectful of sound and privacy.

The campground was well taken care of - clean and sites well groomed. The staff was friendly. The location was great - close to Rocky Mountain National Park and to Grand Lake! The office closed early (6:00) which was inconvenient- I needed some quarters for laundry one evening. We saw wildlife in the campground - moose & deer!

The owner Greg is very nice and accommodating, there was an incident that happened and Greg found a solution right away and we where able to have a great time.

Loved the large campsites with patio and Adirondack chairs and fire pit. Friendly/helpful staff. I look forward to staying there again.

Our stay at Grand Lake KOA was peaceful. There are many things to do nearby like hikes, going in to RMNP. There are plenty of clean bathrooms and showers. We enjoyed seeing moose near our camper!

Campground is very nice with a lot of family options! Plus the grounds are very clean! Location is awesome, and the staff are friendly!!

We hold our yearly family camping trip at the Grand Lake KOA and it was another great year. The staff were friendly and helpful. The campsites were well maintained. The kids loved the playground, stream and air hockey! We saw our yearly moose. No campfires due to the fire bans but KOA had propane fire pits you could rent which did the trick. And of course, a great location! Beautiful!!

This is one of my top favorite campgrounds. Nestled on the west side of RMNP, literally you can see the NPS boundary just a few steps from some sites, its walking distance to Grand Lake. The RV sites are each surrounded by trees and shrubs, giving you a sense of privacy and solitude, as if you’re in the backcountry with the dark night sky above you (Grand Lake is a dark sky community). Staff were welcoming and accommodating. Our site (27) was smaller, but we booked last minute and took what we could get. No tree cover on this spot; it's only dirt/gravel, and also has a marshy area on 3 sides. There are some beautiful sites w/decks that we were envious of. We didn't use any of the amenities aside from the dog park and kids' play area, but the showers and restrooms were clean.

Great site in the trees but close enough to walk to showers. We saw a moose run through the campground one evening. Clean, big bathrooms, nice showers. Short drive(5 minutes )to Grand Lake town, shops, beach & hiking. Great walking paths around the lake. Game room with pool table etc, play area for kids.

Great place . Only thing I didn't care for was the sewer line being 28' from my hook up in the trailer. Other than that the deck builder was drunk or couldn't read a level. Trip hazards and screws sticking up in a lot of places. The campground and staff were great otherwise. Moose/moose and more moose.

This KOA is my favorite because the vibe is so chill and low key. The staff is very kind and helpful. We make a trip here at least once a year and it’s great every time. They truly care about their campers and listen to suggestions openly.

I arrived hoping to settle in on my reservation site that was made last year. But unfortunately I was put up on a different site facing the afternoon sun. I ad asked for someone to help me put up my awning to give me some shade from the sun but no one came. I talked to the gal at the front desk and she said they will try to get someone there but no came. This place is understaffed.

Amazing campground! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Campground located very near to downtown Grand Lake and RMNP. Facilities were very well kept and immaculately clean. Included a game room, lounge, outdoor corn hole, dog park, playground and dish washing area. Camp store had everything you needed. Just an overall great place to camp.

We love staying at the Grand Lake KOA every year! They keep the grounds nice. We love being able to use the community room and game room. The bathrooms are kept very clean. Thank you to all the staff that make this place somewhere look forward to coming every year!

Stayed here for 2 nights. Great RV park with lovely, helpful staff and good and clean bathroom facilities. Located halfway between National park entrance and the town/lake. The park itself is very well maintained. Would be happy to stay there again.

We stayed about four nights at this KOA Campground. We were very happy with most parts of it. Restrooms were clean and spacious and water spigots were high enough for tall people like us and hot water was not a problem. Office Personnel were very nice, helpful and congenial. The grounds for the most part were well taken care of and maintained. Our main issue was the lack of maintenance of vegetation and branches on the site we had to back into. Branches scratched up our RV and we were not able to park our vehicle in the space with our trailer due to the untrimmed branches on either side of the RV spot. Otherwise, the Campground was nice to walk through, pleasant on the eyes, and very close to Rocky Mountain National Park which was a priority for us.

Instantly at home — a spotless, welcoming base for Rocky Mountain trips-. What a friendly welcome at the Grand Lake / Rocky Mountain National Park KOA Journey. You feel at home right away. The sites are exceptionally clean and lovingly set up. A really good fire pit with its own seating, and a second terrace with everything you could want for RV camping. The staff are exceptionally friendly, no matter where you're from, and help you with a smile at any time. The perfect RV campground for extended Rocky Mountain trips. So don't hesitate — just go.
