This was our third stay in this KOA over the past five years. The staff is always friendly and helpful. We love the campground, the views and the proximity to RMNP.

The hosts were amazing and very helpful. The KOA was clean and well stocked. Our tent site was perfect with an awesome view. We can't wait to book another stay here.

Absolutely beautiful campground. We came up for one last time before the season ended. Leaves turning made it especially memorable. Very nice office/store, very clean bathrooms and showers. Super friendly and helpful staff.

Very nice campground! All RV sites are back-in, and all are arranged around the existing trees and shrubbery to give each site privacy from the next. The staff were all so helpful and friendly. I will definitely stay here again!

Sites are laid out well and many feel private. The folks are nice and the amenities are everything we needed. We’ll be back again soon.

Beautiful cabin and KOA Park. We enjoyed playing In the game room the 1st night, visited RMNP Park and scouted for a summertime 2026 visit to enjoy kayaking the lake and RMNp and Lakes trails. Bathroom/shower areas were clean and welcoming. Park was beautiful clean, fun. It was mostly Dark after 9 pm to dark skies. It was dark beautiful at around 11 pm. Clear on second night with no clouds. Bonus.

We stayed for 3 nights. Night 1 we were woken up by neighbors yelling and fighting at 1130pm. The owner was kind enough to move us to another cabin and what a completely different experience we had. They were quick to fix the situation and to make everything right. Excellent customer service and we will definitely be back. Thanks so much for making it right!

The campground was so beautiful. Surrounded with sights, smells and sounds of fall. Beautiful fall colors and the fresh air combined with the elk bugleing. The employees are helpful and the bubble machine driving around was a great hit with my grandkids! We even saw " Bubbles" at the pond. Also, the facility is super clean, well supplied. We enjoyed first time at KOA, but I wish fee could be lower than what is going on rate. Place was clean and well kept! I will visit again.

Great place. Stayed in camper cabin which was nice. A few suggestions would be a nightstand by the beds and more lighting inside the cabin. Some cabins have a little light by the bed. Trash in the women's restroom was always full during the weekend stay so it would have been nice if they emptied it more often.

Beautiful area, and the facilities are clean. However, the full size beds in the camping cabins are the loudest I've ever heard. You can't shift at night without waking everyone up!

We loved it here - general store had everything we might have needed, game room and TV room were clean and looked really fun (we didn’t use them), the dog park was a great addition… the grounds were nice and quiet and very well maintained. We will definitely be back!

The office staff greeted us with kind words and information about the campground and useful info about not approaching wild life like moose, elk, or etc because of possible wariness of the animal who might be protecting its calf. The facilities were so so clean and the game room, tv rooms and play areas were each super cool to use. We will go again.

We spent 5 nights with our travel trailer for a family get away. Absolutely beautiful campground. Close to the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park and to Grand Lake Co. We had a great time and are booked for next year already.

Beautiful sites, separate and private, spacious and clean, easy to access. The campground is clean and pretty. The dump station is so convenient, they even provide a sewer hose to use to dump so you don’t have to get out your own, so quick and convenient. They have a little store there where we bought firewood. This is a fantastic place to stay, we loved it. The owners were very helpful, friend

Clean, friendly staff, curtains are not private enough, either hot or cold, heater hard to manage temperature. Ned more electrical outlets around other walls, mirror not assessable to outlet. Nice park area. We'll kept

I am giving it a 4+ for two reasons. The WiFi bandwidth was not adequate to allow us to stream any tv. And the site was unlevel and we did not have enough room to adequately back up our 26 foot trailer and take it off the truck properly. We should have asked for another spot in hindsight. Everything else about the campground was superb. The setting, the friendliness of the staff, etc.

1.I stayed in the tent area, but the tents were so close together that I didn’t feel any privacy and was uncomfortable. I ended up moving my car and sleeping in it right by the bathroom. 2.The campground had signs everywhere threatening fines for almost any reason. It felt more hostile than welcoming. For the nearly $70 I paid, I’d say it wasn’t worth the experience.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We apologize if you had a negative experience, but want to confirm you have the correct campground because we don't have parking right by the bathroom, nor do we have any signs about fines, and our tent sites run about $60 a night. Could you be thinking of another campground in the area?

Everything is great with you campground. Literally the only thing is the mattress in cabin #4. It needs to be replaced in a bad way. It's terrible with no support and I slump into a hole in the middle. I weigh 120lbs. I love your campground and also cabin #4. I hope by next summer you replace this mattress. Thank you.

This campground went above and beyond. They escorted us to our spot and helped to park. There was a fire ban, but they provided propane fire pits to rent. They even had the dump station set up with a hose so you didn’t have to unpack your own. Very clean and beautiful. The service was excellent!! Thank you Patty and Dave and everyone else!

The staff are amazing, always cheerful and helpful. Greg has done so many improvements in the last few years since he's acquired the campground. He's very helpful, cheerful and open to suggestions. The atmosphere is beyond words. The beauty is awe inspiring. It's just a wonderful place to stay and to get away from it all.

We loved this park when it was Elk Creek Campground. It is now a KOA and we still love it. They've added some nice patio sites and made many improvements. This is the only place we will stay when visiting Rocky Mountain National Park from Grand Lake.

We enjoyed our one night stay here (rooftop tent). Showers were extremely nice! Staff super friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location, excellent service, super friendly staff. Wonderful campsite. We traveled over 5000 miles on a month West road trip, and this was by far the nicest KOA that we stopped at. Staff was super beautiful campsites nice and shady very private, and not stacked on top of each other. And the public facilities for the bathrooms and showers and laundry were in excellent shape.
