First the staff was amazing friendly helpful. The campground was clean and very well maintained. The sites were very nice and varied a lot this let's you select exactly what kind of site you like. The store was well stocked clean the restaurant food was great (we had pizza). Looking forward to going back.

We've stayed here a couple of times, and the experience is amazing every time. Every site has shade, the grounds and bath houses are maintained exceptionally well, and every staff person we encountered was very friendly and helpful. They now offer Paw Pens at certain sites, which was great for our 2 fur babies. They even text you about events throughout the day so you don't miss out on the fun.

Space 122 was big, well cared for, and the staff was friendly and helpful. That section of the campground is really all I saw, and it was beautiful, quiet, easy to maneuver our 39' fifth-wheel. The only thing that I could see to improve is the mulch around the hookups. The dark mulch made a mess because it had rained the night before we left, and mulch stuck to all the hoses. In my top 5 KOAs.

We were upgraded to the best spot. On our 2nd day acamper over lost control of 2 German Shepard type dogs. The dogs attacked our very small (under 10#'s) dogs. We filed a complaint and were told management would handle this. I said we did not feel we were safe and were offered a different site. I felt that the other campers should be moved, they were not. After we left we found a bite wound.

The staff was great. The sites we had were not terribly close, but could hear neighbors talking outside their camper with windows closed. Beautiful park, lots of trees. Good hookups, very clean bathrooms. The food we had they offered for meals was great! Nice to have food available after a long day and do not feel like cooking.

From the very nice pull thru patio site to all the employees we encountered we enjoyed our stay at the campground. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. A big thanks to Jordan who escorted us both in and out of the campground, his assistance was much appreciated. When back in the area we will definitely return.

Yeah my husband enjoyed it very much. We loved the setup and the trees and the beautiful wood setting around us. And our dog loved it too. It was a great getaway. We definitely would recommend it. �

Site was nice. They accommodated our request for a buddy site that actually worked. Very nice patio with lots of shade. Fabulous staff picked up garbage regularly, had a nice game room. Opened the pool early for a couple of families. Private showers with enough space for a family. Good food service. Good communication all day. The national park is literally outside the back gate.

The campground was beautifully laid out and the staff was absolutely wonderful, but on the day we arrived (early afternoon)......our boys got the worst bug bites for the first time in there 8 year old lives. This was our first time staying here. I'm not sure if this is a problem on other sites or if it was just where we were, but with that many bites they have to be nesting somewhere close by.

This is the BEST campground we have ever stayed at! The staff are super friendly and accommodating. Very clean and well maintained. Pet friendly to any breed! Super family oriented and safe for children. Always had events planned but sadly we didn’t get to attend due to adventures in town. We’re already planning another trip in July. We can’t wait to come back!

We enjoyed our stay at East Gatlinburg. The staff is the friendliest we have come across--they really take care of you. Our site was large and private (patio in the newer section). Landscaping is nicely done. Cookies at check were the perfect cure for road weary grouchiness and made set up much more pleasant! The pool area and playground are new and nicely done. The dog area could be better.

Second time staying here in 4 years and it was better than the first time. It's grown a bit, to become Holiday campground, but still a great place with helpful and courteous staff- thank you Jordan!

Perfect stay. Gatlinburg East is our favorite campground!! Jenni, Angelica and Jordan were the perfect KOA employees! It is obvious that customer service is priority with them. We will definitely be back as much as possible!! Love this campground!

This campground was beautiful. The spaces were wide and the grounds were well maintained. Staff were very friendly and helpful too! You can tell they care about your experience. They had all types of fun activities for campers and texted often to remind you of what the schedule was. We highly recommended this campground!

We love this Campground. The Staff is always wonderful. The Campground is absolutely beautiful and very well maintained. They have fun crafts, this year I enjoyed painting rocks and Rootbeer Floats with them. There is a Dollar General within a mile which is very handy. It’s a beautiful 18 mile ride into Gatlinburg. This is the best KOA we have stayed in. It's an absolutely beautiful campground. Customer service is top notch. The Bistro is convenient and had great food. They deliver anything they sell they deliver it to you. The bathrooms and showers were immaculate. It's quiet, in the countryside and very relaxing.

Level sites with full hook up; some with more shade than others, but greenery all around. The whole place was well maintained. The were 8-10 bathrooms (and I mean bathROOMs because each had a toilet, sink and shower) that were clean as a whistle. Staff was friendly and helpful. Just a great experience all the way around. Highly recommend!

If I could give you 10 stars, I would! This is our favorite campground . . . the staff, the facilities, the campground, everything is perfect! I can't say enough about the staff, everyone is so friendly and helpful. We loved the addition of the grill, made us rethink cooking every morning! Keep up the good work! We can't wait to come back!

A quiet, well maintained camping Oasis close enough to Gatlinburg. Pigeon Forge, and the Great Smokies to take in all that the area has to offer. Between the Bistro, site trash pick up, and activities for all, the staff at this full service koa go out if their way to make sure you are enjoying your stay.

40 foot class A towing. Off the beaten path, but oh so worthwhile. This is a Holiday level KOA. The sites are setup for travelers who may want to stay in the area for a while. Level gravel pads. Many with cement decks, above ground fire pits, and table and chairs. Lots of trees. Great wi-fi. Cable TV hookup. We will be back, and will stay awhile. Lots to do in the surrounding areas.

This KOA is one of my favorites. The park is absolutely beautiful with large sites. The friendly staff literally bent over backwards to ensure we were happy and enjoyed our stay. Very quiet area that backs up to the Great Smokey Mountain National Park, with easy access to hiking trails.

Very nice layout and the sites are not crammed together. All of the facilities are well maintained and clean! The staff is very friendly and accommodating to whatever you may need. With a good location to outdoor activities and to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge everyone will be happy.

It was great. They had a restaurant on site with the store and they would deliver anything you needed right to your site. I had one of their breakfast sandwiches. It was great. It was nice to have trees around each side and also there is plenty of space in between campers.

We've stayed at this campground once before and loved it. I called today to check availability for another stay and then called back to book the reservation. I spoke with Chris and Charlie and they were both very knowledgeable and helpful. Looking forward to our next visit in October.

This was our first time staying at a KOA and it did not disappoint. We were supposed to stay on Tent Site 4 and when we got there we asked if we could switch and stayed at tent Site 02. As there was immediate parking right off the campsite rather than walking a longer path to Tent Site 4. The bear box provided was big enough for all of our stuff. We must have timed our vacation just right as the campground wasn't completely full - which was super nice! We stayed from Saturday to Wednesday. Saturday night we noticed you could hear a wedding across the mountain, so we asked what time they typically go to and he wasn't sure. Looked up the venue and weddings typically go to 10 o'clock at night but could go longer if they purchased additional hours - so just an FYI. Luckily the wedding was done at 10 as it was pretty loud. As everything echoes! It is on a busy highway to which people drive by with loud vehicles at all times of the night. The campground was very well maintained. The pool and park were a huge hit for our kids! The game room was also fun! The foosball table could be replaced as it was falling apart. They have food on-site that you can order, ice, firewood $10 and they will deliver to your site. To no fault of KOA there are no lifeguards and people just let their kids go to the pool by themselves. The bathrooms are individual rooms with a shower and toilet -wish there were a little bigger ones as they were a little tight with trying to shower kids and myself. The bathrooms also looked like black mold was on the ceiling. Otherwise they were clean except some where there were some disrespectful campers and not cleaning up after themselves(beard shavings so hair was literally all over the sink) to which no fault to KOA. Everyone abided by the quiet hours which was a relief! The last night was our worst night where we had some disrespectful campers - one who let their dog sit out of their camper and just bark till 10:45-11 (again no fault to KOA) . Then apparently KOA lets people book last minute, we had a neighbor pull in around 11:15 set up camp and stay up talking till 12:30. We will be staying at a KOA again, thank you for having us!
