The only downside is we were told we wouldn’t fit in the site reserved so we moved into a pull through site and was charged more then double the amount we reserved for and they wouldn’t do anything about it! That part was very disappointing!

Very nice campground . Staff was fantastic. The only issue I had was the cost we were charged 167 for Friday and Saturday and then $128 for Sunday and Monday. Thought that was a little excessive I understand there is a premium for the weekend but $167 is just too much for a campsite .

KOA amenities very nice, staff very friendly and helpful. Marco went out of his way to make our stay pleasurable! A lot of planned activities to participate in if you want. We were in site 116, which was wonderful with big concrete patio but road noise is noticeable. Overall great stay!

We arrived late and it was dark. Fellow campers came out to help us get to our spot. Shout out to Mike with the campground. He really went out of his way to get us parked. The staff was all really nice and helpful. Plus it's probably one of the most beautiful campgrounds we've ever been to. And only 30 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg. Would definitely stay again!

1st time here and it was an amazing time. We called told them be getting in late and latter texted them with an about time be there, staff was waiting for us and told us everything we needed. Wife an I talked to some guest in cabins and they loved them, we were considering getting on of them to see lights in winter. Place is a hidden gem definitely coming back!

The staff are amazing. So friendly and helpful. Showers/ bathrooms super clean, campsites very nice. Family oriented, but perfect for couples as well. We enjoyed our stay and will be promoting KOA Gatlinburg/ East!

Clean and friendly staff. There was a mixup on the reservations and the gal at the desk and gentleman taking us to our site were very helpful and did what they could to make it right. Appreciated the extra effort during a frustrating moment.

Beautiful camp grounds that are extremely clean. They have a dog park too which was a huge plus for us. They had plenty of events and activities going on each day too. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly that worked there.

Very friendly staff and our site was perfect. Lots of room! We were on site #124 ( spacious sites). I'd stay here again and definitely recommend.

Our site was in the back corner of the property. It was so peaceful. We were able to hike and bike near by. The employees were friendly and helpful. The property was well maintained. I used the laundry facility. The way to exit was not marked well.

Clean , organized, charming campground, close to gatlinburg if you want to have the party , but far away enough to enjoy the nature and silence the Smokie Mountains have to offer

Check in was a breeze, staff was very friendly and accommodating. The campgrounds were nice with trees, very clean restrooms and showers. Its a very dog friendly park. Play are for pets, separate play area for little ones and a rec room with games for the older kids. Would definitely go back.

Loved the wooded setting. Super helpful and friendly staff. Very clean showers. We didn’t use the bistro but it was a nice option. Easy drive to attractions.

It was great. We enjoyed every part of the campgrounds. Especially the trails behind the grounds. The acorns dropping on the camper not so much. We'll be back.

This is my favorite KOA. Backed up to Smokey Mountain NP. We walk to the trailhead from the campground. The staff is friendly and helpful. Sally is awesome. Very clean grounds.

We had 2 sites and the KOA staff were able to get us next to each other. The pull through site was clean, had plenty of room, and well maintained. The cabin we had was one of the cleanest and best cabins I have ever seen at a KOA!!! The staff was curious and kind. We will stay here again next time we visit Gatlinburg.

Every single staff member we encountered was so friendly, helpful and personable, they all genuinely seemed happy to be there. The location was very close to Gatlinburg as well as the National Park. All the amenities were very clean and well organized, you could tell it was being cleaned throughout the day as well. The campsite itself was everything we needed, and felt safe and cozy even at night.

Absolutely loved my stay here at the KOA in Gatlinburg. Will definitely be returning. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful, and the facility itself was kept clean!!

This is, by FAR, the best campground we’ve ever stayed at! It’s nicely laid out with beautifully landscaped terraces, the bathrooms are excellent and clean with individual toilet/shower rooms, the store is well stocked and the staff are very friendly and accommodating and it backs up to the Smoky Mountain National Park. By far the best campground!

We have stayed there many times and love it. However, we were really disappointed because the cabin we stayed in this trip needs lots of repair. We gave a list to the office.

Lovely camping! The best ever staff members. Dena went above and beyond for us securing a site for our son who came in later. Food at the Bistro was very good, hot, and delicious. The nature trail behind the campground was a great hike. We absolutely loved this KOA. One of our new favorites! Many thanks!

This is a very nice campground with nicely spaced, wooded sites. The restroom/showers were very clean and the staff super friendly. Great place to relax and/or access Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. This was our second visit. We’ll be back.

We've stayed at this campground once before and loved it. I called today to check availability for another stay and then called back to book the reservation. I spoke with Chris and Charlie and they were both very knowledgeable and helpful. Looking forward to our next visit in October.

This was our first time staying at a KOA and it did not disappoint. We were supposed to stay on Tent Site 4 and when we got there we asked if we could switch and stayed at tent Site 02. As there was immediate parking right off the campsite rather than walking a longer path to Tent Site 4. The bear box provided was big enough for all of our stuff. We must have timed our vacation just right as the campground wasn't completely full - which was super nice! We stayed from Saturday to Wednesday. Saturday night we noticed you could hear a wedding across the mountain, so we asked what time they typically go to and he wasn't sure. Looked up the venue and weddings typically go to 10 o'clock at night but could go longer if they purchased additional hours - so just an FYI. Luckily the wedding was done at 10 as it was pretty loud. As everything echoes! It is on a busy highway to which people drive by with loud vehicles at all times of the night. The campground was very well maintained. The pool and park were a huge hit for our kids! The game room was also fun! The foosball table could be replaced as it was falling apart. They have food on-site that you can order, ice, firewood $10 and they will deliver to your site. To no fault of KOA there are no lifeguards and people just let their kids go to the pool by themselves. The bathrooms are individual rooms with a shower and toilet -wish there were a little bigger ones as they were a little tight with trying to shower kids and myself. The bathrooms also looked like black mold was on the ceiling. Otherwise they were clean except some where there were some disrespectful campers and not cleaning up after themselves(beard shavings so hair was literally all over the sink) to which no fault to KOA. Everyone abided by the quiet hours which was a relief! The last night was our worst night where we had some disrespectful campers - one who let their dog sit out of their camper and just bark till 10:45-11 (again no fault to KOA) . Then apparently KOA lets people book last minute, we had a neighbor pull in around 11:15 set up camp and stay up talking till 12:30. We will be staying at a KOA again, thank you for having us!

Service was amazing here! Everyone was so nice! We stayed in a bigger cabin with 4 people. It worked out good, would say the bathrooms were a little small, but that's okay. Loved that there was towels, and even some dish soap! I don't have any pets, but they also had a cute pet bow for pets! The view was gorgeous. I will 100% be coming back, to explore more!
