Really love this campground. Everything is clean and so well kept. The staff is friendly, welcoming and helpful. Also, really appreciate the number of dog waste cans throughout the facility.

Amazing stay at KOA Gatlinburg East! Staff went above & beyond, moving our glamping tent to a perfect RV site. Super clean facilities, private showers, delicious food (best pizza, butterbeer dessert, heavenly cookies). Loved the nature hike, playground, pet�friendly vibe & game room. Peaceful, family�friendly, and a true nature escape!

Stacey was wonderful and so helpful. She didn’t ever act annoyed when I called many times trying to figure out our travel plans. Chris was also super helpful! We had an issue where our grill wasn’t working. They brought us a different one within minutes so that I could still cook our burgers. This place was quiet and clean. We LOVED the cabin. The grounds are well kept! This was our first KOA

Great stay as expected being a KOA. The only reason I provided four stars instead of five is due to communication. Water in the city was turned off for several hours, which is beyond control of the kampground This said, they could have provided mass text updates to Kampers so we weren’t left guessing. I had to call them to see if water was on yet while out and about. Mass texts help!

Campsite was perfect -loved the trees. Fall in all its splendor. Showers were clean. Nice camp store and even meal/menu. Close enough to all the tourist stuff without the crowds. We have stayed here before and will be back.

This is now one of my favorite place to stay. It is quiet and peaceful but close enough to lots of shopping, restaurants and activities. My family will definitely be visiting regularly.

My wife and I extended our stay from 5 nights to 7 as this was such a nice campground. All staff were friendly and helpful. Campground was well kept and clean.

Very clean showers. Had a great singer Saturday night, however you had him playing in the pitch black dark. He said you normally have him playing under the pavilion instead of the woods which would make more sense since movie night wasnt happening.

The only complaint they had a person playing music we did not know anything about never seen it avatar as anywhere, but it was wonderful. We heard the music at our trailer and we walked down.

First, the staff have always been amazing here and the Upgrades are fantastic to this KOA. New sites and Cabins, Breakfast, Lunch and Pizza is a great option if you’re rushed or just in the mood. We’ve always enjoyed our stay here. We camped in a 43’ motorhome and our first site had a bit of a slope (They are in the mountains!) but were extremely helpful and happy to find us a different s

Beautiful campground in the woods with excellent RV sites. The staff is super friendly, and every once in a while you get to see a black bear scamper by!! We’ll be back to stay again!

Proximity to awesome hiking trails was a bonus! Great staff, well-maintained park and plenty of really nice sites. The Halloween props were fun! My only suggestion for improvement…create a path to the dog park.

We are used to national and state parks so this was our first time staying at a private campground. The campground is wooded which we really liked, especially with the fall colors! The sites were clean and well cared for. The firepit was even emptied. The bathrooms were clean. The staff were very kind and friendly. They were helpful with current bear local bear safety info which we appreciated.

Sites were easy to access. Had plenty of room for our travel trailer. The kids loved the playground, and the access to the park and gatlinburg was super convenient. Staff was friendly and competent. All in all, a really great trip!

Very nice park with good level sites, prices for fall color season are very reasonable, staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, water, electric and sewer are very good. Food is avaiilable in the office/store which is well stocked for the must needs. Location is perfect Only 2 negatives, the firewood is a bit pricey and doesn’t burn well and the speed bump at the entrance is super jarring.

It was a very nice stay. Everything was immaculate from the store, bathhouses and laundry area. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. A beautiful area, a nice and quiet ace to relax around the campfires.

We had the beat time here! We came on Saturday October 18th and got to listen to a live band and see cute trick or treaters all dressed up! The staff was top notch and we super friendly and welcoming. We had lunch delivered one day while we were there and it was so good! The best part was the trail access at the back of the campground. We loved it and will definitely come back next year!

This is my son’s favorite place to stay and a devastated when we leave! They always have fun things for kids to do and the staff members and kind and professional. Gatlinburg East KOA is one of the best!

The cabin is too small for 4 adults. There was only 3 chairs at the table. If you sat at the table you couldn’t open the refrigerator. There were nats everywhere in the cabin. We tried several different ways to get rid of them but they would just come back.

We stayed for 8 nights. I’d recommend booking over phone as our site changed from online booking to when we got there. Staff were overall friendly and helpful. Campgrounds clean, bathrooms clean. There are bears present and roaming around. Not a big deal but keep food locked up and trash to dumpsters. Lots of hiking nearby. Short drive to downtown Gatlinburg. Alewine pottery is a must.

We've stayed at this campground once before and loved it. I called today to check availability for another stay and then called back to book the reservation. I spoke with Chris and Charlie and they were both very knowledgeable and helpful. Looking forward to our next visit in October.

This was our first time staying at a KOA and it did not disappoint. We were supposed to stay on Tent Site 4 and when we got there we asked if we could switch and stayed at tent Site 02. As there was immediate parking right off the campsite rather than walking a longer path to Tent Site 4. The bear box provided was big enough for all of our stuff. We must have timed our vacation just right as the campground wasn't completely full - which was super nice! We stayed from Saturday to Wednesday. Saturday night we noticed you could hear a wedding across the mountain, so we asked what time they typically go to and he wasn't sure. Looked up the venue and weddings typically go to 10 o'clock at night but could go longer if they purchased additional hours - so just an FYI. Luckily the wedding was done at 10 as it was pretty loud. As everything echoes! It is on a busy highway to which people drive by with loud vehicles at all times of the night. The campground was very well maintained. The pool and park were a huge hit for our kids! The game room was also fun! The foosball table could be replaced as it was falling apart. They have food on-site that you can order, ice, firewood $10 and they will deliver to your site. To no fault of KOA there are no lifeguards and people just let their kids go to the pool by themselves. The bathrooms are individual rooms with a shower and toilet -wish there were a little bigger ones as they were a little tight with trying to shower kids and myself. The bathrooms also looked like black mold was on the ceiling. Otherwise they were clean except some where there were some disrespectful campers and not cleaning up after themselves(beard shavings so hair was literally all over the sink) to which no fault to KOA. Everyone abided by the quiet hours which was a relief! The last night was our worst night where we had some disrespectful campers - one who let their dog sit out of their camper and just bark till 10:45-11 (again no fault to KOA) . Then apparently KOA lets people book last minute, we had a neighbor pull in around 11:15 set up camp and stay up talking till 12:30. We will be staying at a KOA again, thank you for having us!

Service was amazing here! Everyone was so nice! We stayed in a bigger cabin with 4 people. It worked out good, would say the bathrooms were a little small, but that's okay. Loved that there was towels, and even some dish soap! I don't have any pets, but they also had a cute pet bow for pets! The view was gorgeous. I will 100% be coming back, to explore more!
