Everything from check-in to pulling out was smooth and easy. The grounds were clean and well maintained. The sites are spacious and far enough apart to feel comfortable. This side of the Smoky Mountains is less congested but still a short drive to Gatlinburg and the park. We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful RV park. Awesome neighbors, very clean & friendly. “Shannon “ told us we would 100% see bears at the specific site of 118. We did not. Thank you to the golf cart team for their diligence of trash pick up. We saw them frequently. Nice people .

It began as a great get vacation. However on Saturday afternoon, a limb from a standing dead tree fell, striking our RV, causing a total loss of the slide out awning and damaging the paint as well. Ther campground General Manager,Jenni Edward's was immediately notified and arrived on scene. She took photos, and stated to us "I will call corporate to file a claim". She left and never returned.

Very nice campground. Large, level sites. I chose a backin full hookup and loved it. The staff are very accommodating and the facilities are very well kept. Highly recommend this location.

Clean and friendly. Very accommodating! Anything you could need is available and they'll bring it right to your door. Our cabin was perfect with a room for us and a fun little loft for the kids. The kids loved the game room and the dog park was very great for our pooch. Conveniently located near downtown Gatlinburg, but out of all the hustle and bustle. We'll be back!

We were very pleased with the park and all the workers. They were helpful, attentive, and worked very hard to keep the area looking top notch. We will stay yhere again if ever back in the area

Beautiful campground, very friendly staff, campground is kept very cleaned and trimmed. Close to Gatlinburg, a lot todo in the area, gorgeous Mountain View’s on the way to Newport. Had issues with our fifth wheel, staff knew exactly who to put us in contact with. Will definitely return and we were very impressed.

Too many people with dogs off their leash and dog poop left lying around. Sites are not as level as they should be. Service was very good. People were kind. Enjoyed the pizza, ice and wood delivery.

All the employees are wonderful and very helpful. The cabin we stayed in was the best cabin we have ever stayed at in a KOA camp. The campground is beautiful and very well kept. It is very well laid out and everything needed at the campground is very close - but what is really nice is they send out a text to remind you when they close and will bring anything they have in stock to your site.

One of the best KOAs we have stayed at! Wonderful, helpful staff, beautiful and peaceful sites in a wooded area near the Smoky Mountains. It was like an oasis in the woods! I wish I could give it more stars! We will definitely stay here again! And they have an ice ceeam truck!!!!

we came for a long weekend. The campgrounds were beautiful excellently maintained. Everybody was super friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back and recommend it to others.

The campsite was clean and easy to access for parking and getting out in the morning. The bathrooms lacked a mat to stand on after showering. The largest bathroom had no towels in the morning (9/6).

We have stayed in several KOAs. They are known for safety, cleanliness, and friendly service. KOA Gatlinburg East excels in all three areas.

So pleased when we arrived to see it was park feeling with the trees and landscaping. Nice spacing between sites. We were escorted to our spot and the attendant helped back us in. They were attentive to messages and requests. The restrooms were compartmentalized for privacy with step in shower, sink and toilet...very nice. Although we didn't participate, there were lots of activities.

This is a fantastic campground! It's quiet, clean, and very accommodating. The staff is exceptional. There are freshly baked muffins available every morning and camperside pizza delivery, along with firewood and ice. The sites are level and the new area is beautifully done. We visit once a year and it gets better with every visit!

It’s been wonderful the staff are so incredibly wonderful and the park is so beautifully keeped… so pretty!! The staff makes all this happen and it makes for wonderful experience. We loved all the updates and having pizza and wood delivered. If I had kids that were young all the things they do for children is great. we loved our time at Gatlinburg East Smoky Mountain KOA. It was so peaceful. Beautiful campsites and great bath house. Super, super nice and clean. And the pool was wonderful too. Staff was warm and welcoming and helpful.

Awesome experience!! Campground is perfect for a mountain get away! The store was well stocked and the facilities very clean. Laundry room was great! The best thing though was the staff! Super friendly, approachable and “on it”!!!!! We will be back! Thank you for a great experience!!!

Very nice facilities, even compared to other KOAs in the area. It is louder than other ones due to it being on a main road. Lots of motorcycles. Also, both nights there were loud guests talking loudly around 11pm or so. Tent site 2 was where I stayed. Perhaps reminding guests of the quiet time hours.

This place is one of the best I have been if not the best one. We were staying in a tent and the area was great. The staff was exceptional. They went above and beyond what we could ask for. They were constantly available directly to our site. Every day there was a program prepared for the guests to be entertained and engaged. Just awesome. And the bathrooms and shower? The best you can think of.

This is the best campground we’ve stayed at. Spacious, level gravel lots, paved road throughout campground, mature trees everywhere and also between sites. Clean. Friendly staff. Zero road noise. The only thing you hear at night is the crickets.

We've stayed at this campground once before and loved it. I called today to check availability for another stay and then called back to book the reservation. I spoke with Chris and Charlie and they were both very knowledgeable and helpful. Looking forward to our next visit in October.

This was our first time staying at a KOA and it did not disappoint. We were supposed to stay on Tent Site 4 and when we got there we asked if we could switch and stayed at tent Site 02. As there was immediate parking right off the campsite rather than walking a longer path to Tent Site 4. The bear box provided was big enough for all of our stuff. We must have timed our vacation just right as the campground wasn't completely full - which was super nice! We stayed from Saturday to Wednesday. Saturday night we noticed you could hear a wedding across the mountain, so we asked what time they typically go to and he wasn't sure. Looked up the venue and weddings typically go to 10 o'clock at night but could go longer if they purchased additional hours - so just an FYI. Luckily the wedding was done at 10 as it was pretty loud. As everything echoes! It is on a busy highway to which people drive by with loud vehicles at all times of the night. The campground was very well maintained. The pool and park were a huge hit for our kids! The game room was also fun! The foosball table could be replaced as it was falling apart. They have food on-site that you can order, ice, firewood $10 and they will deliver to your site. To no fault of KOA there are no lifeguards and people just let their kids go to the pool by themselves. The bathrooms are individual rooms with a shower and toilet -wish there were a little bigger ones as they were a little tight with trying to shower kids and myself. The bathrooms also looked like black mold was on the ceiling. Otherwise they were clean except some where there were some disrespectful campers and not cleaning up after themselves(beard shavings so hair was literally all over the sink) to which no fault to KOA. Everyone abided by the quiet hours which was a relief! The last night was our worst night where we had some disrespectful campers - one who let their dog sit out of their camper and just bark till 10:45-11 (again no fault to KOA) . Then apparently KOA lets people book last minute, we had a neighbor pull in around 11:15 set up camp and stay up talking till 12:30. We will be staying at a KOA again, thank you for having us!

Service was amazing here! Everyone was so nice! We stayed in a bigger cabin with 4 people. It worked out good, would say the bathrooms were a little small, but that's okay. Loved that there was towels, and even some dish soap! I don't have any pets, but they also had a cute pet bow for pets! The view was gorgeous. I will 100% be coming back, to explore more!
