Great campground! Stayed in a cabin this time; it was very clean and comfortable. Will definitely be back to stay in our RV. Manager and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Will recommend to others.

I totally enjoyed my stay. Both of the office representatives were super friendly and helpful. The cabin was everything promised. Campground was super clean and nice. I am so glad that the cabins are so pet friendly. I was able to enjoy my stay with all of my fur babies. Thank y'all so much for making my stay memorable. I will definitely be back.

Easily one of the top KOAs we had stayed at in our 17 years of family camping. The staff is amazing and their customer service is second to none. We have already booked our next trip back.

My wife and I have visited several KOA holidays in the East and South. Gatlinburg East is likely the best one we've had the pleasure of visiting yet. The staff seems like they want to be rather than HAVE to be there. If you're going to do something, be good at it or don't do it. Thanks to everyone.

Friendly service, clean, quiet campground, large spaces and attentive staff. Close enough to the attractions to commute easily but out enough to avoid the issues.

Cabin was very clean. Bed making was like hotel style. Only one thing we disappointed was fire pit was propane use, not wood. Everything else was just great.

This is an excellent campground!!! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is secluded but safe, it butts up right next to the national park. The amenities were excellent, and there was some live Christmas music on the weekend!!

We have traveled from California through Illinois. We’re diverted to Kentucky and came to Tennessee. We are now going back to California. We have been to many campgrounds, and quite a few KOA‘s, but by far this campground is superior to all. The grounds are well-kept, great investments in the property, and most importantly, the personnel are fabulous. We are Howard & Katherine Bailey

Sites are large. Camp is quiet. Very well maintained and the staff is awesome! We loved it and will definitely be our home base for trips to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge!

We come to East Gatlinburg/Cosby KOA every year the first weekend of December and we love it every time! We have camped in our camper once and stayed in one of the old cabins 1 time and stayed in the new cabins 2 times now and we absolutely love it!

The staff is always amazing. We have been staying with KOA Gatlinburg East for several years and we have never had an issue. They are AMAZING!!

Ein schöner Platz im Wald mit geräumigen Stellplätzen. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und hilfreich, der Müll wird gleich am Platz abgeholt, so war die Anlage wunderschön sauber. Man gab sich nicht nur außen Mühe, auch die sanitären Anlagen waren einladend. Ein ruhiger Platz zum ausspannen.

This campground is fabulous. All the staff were so friendly and go above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. I loved the day by day text to keep you informed of all the activities going on at the campground. The grounds were clean and the bathrooms were immaculate. We will definitely be camping here again.

We love this Campground. Perfect setting, trails and super nice staff. Very clean and out of the crowds. It's just perfect in my book. We have stayed there 5 times so far. We love it!

This is the BEST KOA we have stayed at...clean bathrooms, game room, friendly and helpful staff. Staying at this KOA was one of the best experiences of our trip. Camping Feel, trees, great furniture and amenities. LOVED IT

Third time staying at this campground. The grounds are very clean and staff are very friendly. They always call to check and see how your travels are going on day of arrival to make sure everything is going smooth. They welcome you and send text updates for what is happening that day around the campground. We will be back again next fall!

The cabin and grounds were beautiful! The only negative is that the gas tank was empty on our gas fire pit. We didn't notice until the second night and did not want to call to have someone fill it after hours. That did not hamper our experience though. One of the best campgrounds we have visited!

Our stay far exceeded our initial expectations. The cabin was pristine and had every amenity, from the grill and gas firepit to the Keurig, extra blankets, makeup washcloths and shampoo. The campground is beautiful & the staff helpful and kind. And, it was a short drive into Gatlinburg. We have stayed at other KOAs in the area and this one is by far our favorite. Hoping to come back soon!

Everything about our stay was awesome!! The staff were very kind and always greeted you with a smile. All members of the staff went out of their way to help and it was genuine. The campsites were well maintained and the whole camp site was nice and clean. We will definitely be back and KOA should have all their campsites ran like Gatlinburg East. I can’t say enough. Thanks again for a great stay

I visited my daughter and family and stayed in Cabin #7. The cabin was immaculate and so cute! Everything I needed was provided and the camp store was convenient. I needed help with the fire pit and after a simple text, help quickly arrived. Everybody was so pleasant, and I had a very enjoyable visit.

Everything exceeded our expectations. The cabin was spotless, well laid out, everything was superb. Highly recommend staying here and will be returning with our friends in the Spring. So much fun. Wonderful staff and just an impressive stay. Thank you for the much-needed break. Can't wait to go on the hiking trail next visit.

We've stayed at this campground once before and loved it. I called today to check availability for another stay and then called back to book the reservation. I spoke with Chris and Charlie and they were both very knowledgeable and helpful. Looking forward to our next visit in October.

This was our first time staying at a KOA and it did not disappoint. We were supposed to stay on Tent Site 4 and when we got there we asked if we could switch and stayed at tent Site 02. As there was immediate parking right off the campsite rather than walking a longer path to Tent Site 4. The bear box provided was big enough for all of our stuff. We must have timed our vacation just right as the campground wasn't completely full - which was super nice! We stayed from Saturday to Wednesday. Saturday night we noticed you could hear a wedding across the mountain, so we asked what time they typically go to and he wasn't sure. Looked up the venue and weddings typically go to 10 o'clock at night but could go longer if they purchased additional hours - so just an FYI. Luckily the wedding was done at 10 as it was pretty loud. As everything echoes! It is on a busy highway to which people drive by with loud vehicles at all times of the night. The campground was very well maintained. The pool and park were a huge hit for our kids! The game room was also fun! The foosball table could be replaced as it was falling apart. They have food on-site that you can order, ice, firewood $10 and they will deliver to your site. To no fault of KOA there are no lifeguards and people just let their kids go to the pool by themselves. The bathrooms are individual rooms with a shower and toilet -wish there were a little bigger ones as they were a little tight with trying to shower kids and myself. The bathrooms also looked like black mold was on the ceiling. Otherwise they were clean except some where there were some disrespectful campers and not cleaning up after themselves(beard shavings so hair was literally all over the sink) to which no fault to KOA. Everyone abided by the quiet hours which was a relief! The last night was our worst night where we had some disrespectful campers - one who let their dog sit out of their camper and just bark till 10:45-11 (again no fault to KOA) . Then apparently KOA lets people book last minute, we had a neighbor pull in around 11:15 set up camp and stay up talking till 12:30. We will be staying at a KOA again, thank you for having us!

Service was amazing here! Everyone was so nice! We stayed in a bigger cabin with 4 people. It worked out good, would say the bathrooms were a little small, but that's okay. Loved that there was towels, and even some dish soap! I don't have any pets, but they also had a cute pet bow for pets! The view was gorgeous. I will 100% be coming back, to explore more!
