The staff were very friendly as well as helpful. The campground is very clean as well as the restrooms. Activities for children and adults. The grandkids loved the pool and playground. I would highly recommend staying there!!

The campground is clean and well maintained. The tent sites are very nice level and close to the bathrooms/showers. The staff were very nice and accommodating. Our kids loved the playground, pool and all the activities on site. The campground is also very close the Gatlinburg and the Smokies making it easy to get to hikes and sightseeing.

friendly, dedicated staff at every return. greeted warm upon arrival. helpful staff escorted me to campsite and helped me position my trailer on the campsite. Campground was in excellent condition and on a beautiful property. Hope to take my family there again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was a perfect size for our family. The amenities were great. The trail was nice to walk the dog. The pool was a hit with our child. The location was peaceful and close to Gatlinburg but still far enough away to enjoy the quiet nights to sit by the fire and star gaze. We'll be back!

Only one thing, the dog park had swarms of nats. So much I couldn’t take my dog there. Don’t know what you can do but you should investigate the problem.

We enjoyed our short stay in this very nice and clean KOA. The bistro food was good and the pool was very relaxing. We enjoyed talking with the friendly staff and it was a convenient scenic ride into Gatlinburg.

Intending to tour Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and surrounding areas, we wanted a spot nearby but less crowded. This spot is perfect for that. And what a great campground. The lots are quite large and easy to navigate into and out of. The amenities are top notch and the all inclusive private bathrooms are next level. The staff, all of them, are always friendly and helpful. We’ll be back soon.

Outstanding KOA! Friendly staff, awesome camp store, and RV sites are pristine. We had a great experience. And most of all it was quiet from the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg.

Loved our stay! Staff was so friendly and helpful. We stayed in a deluxe cabin and it was so nice! Would definitely stay here again and suggest anyone to stay. Very peaceful environment and loved that everything was about 30 min away.

This campground as well as all the staff is beyond amazing! They have lots of activities for children and adults to do! Also they have their Swimming Pool Game room and outdoor sports for the family to enjoy! This is my husband and I go to campground as we are welcomed and we feel like we are at home! If you are ever in the area you need to check it out you won’t regret it!

From day one of our 7 day stay every staff member was so kind. The grounds were immaculate and beautiful. I absolutely loved everything about our stay. (Except site 50 really isn't big rig friendly. It worked but there was not much room.)

Great location, excellent customer service. It’s a bit crowded toward the entrance, if you want a quieter stay definitely book around the perimeter.

I feel the sites are too small for the size trailer and trucks. No truck can park in the sites unless sideways. New section is better but buggy over there.

Exceptionally clean and well maintained property. Every staff member was courteous, friendly and beyond accommodating. Be prepared for a workout if you go for a walk as the property is on a incline so staying near the pavilion is a plus. Food, firewood and ice were delivered to our site on demand with a simple text. One of the best KOA's I have stayed at. Will definitely stay again

Spot were spacious and had good tree coverage in the expansion area. The biggest comment would be that the dog park was waterlogged due to its location, which dampened our dog's experience and freedom of movement.

Stayed in a back in site. Was in a rooftop tent. Staff was amazing. Food was great. Will probably stay in the tent sites next time. But I have no complaints. Will definitely stay here again in the future. Kid friendly with plenty of activities going on to keep them busy and the pool was great.

We had 3 families ages 6 to 70 on vacation and this KOA fit all our needs. All amenities were well maintained and the grounds beautiful. All the employees were friendly and attentive. We had the best vacation.

Our stay was wonderful! We loved every minute of being able to go to the pool or park and the campsites were far apart enough to feel spacious! Loved the trees and everything about it! Can’t wait to go back!

We had a wonderful stay over 4th of July weekend here. The staff was amazing, very welcoming and helpful. We were located in the newer side of the park, but it was still a short walk to the store, pool, and dog park. I highly recommend this spot if you’re looking to stay close to the Smoky Mountains National Park!

Very pretty campground, neat and organized, a lot of support staff, wide variety of activities for kids and adults, far enough away from Gatlinburg to be remote but close enough to easily get to.

We just wrapped up our stay at KOA Gatlinburg East / Smoky Mountains, and it was absolutely wonderful—by far the best KOA we’ve stayed at yet! The playground was fantastic, the pool was a great size, and our cabin was spotless. We especially loved the patio, which was perfect for relaxing while our dogs enjoyed the outdoors. We’ll be back!

This is a beautiful campground with lots of activities. It is not as dog-friendly as it could be. Some of the sites have private fenced-in kennels, they are not large enough to run in. We take our two dogs out with us using leashes anchored to the picnic table. There is a fenced in dog run. It is located in an overflowing septic field! Yuck!. The sites are gravel with little grass for the dogs.

We've stayed at this campground once before and loved it. I called today to check availability for another stay and then called back to book the reservation. I spoke with Chris and Charlie and they were both very knowledgeable and helpful. Looking forward to our next visit in October.

This was our first time staying at a KOA and it did not disappoint. We were supposed to stay on Tent Site 4 and when we got there we asked if we could switch and stayed at tent Site 02. As there was immediate parking right off the campsite rather than walking a longer path to Tent Site 4. The bear box provided was big enough for all of our stuff. We must have timed our vacation just right as the campground wasn't completely full - which was super nice! We stayed from Saturday to Wednesday. Saturday night we noticed you could hear a wedding across the mountain, so we asked what time they typically go to and he wasn't sure. Looked up the venue and weddings typically go to 10 o'clock at night but could go longer if they purchased additional hours - so just an FYI. Luckily the wedding was done at 10 as it was pretty loud. As everything echoes! It is on a busy highway to which people drive by with loud vehicles at all times of the night. The campground was very well maintained. The pool and park were a huge hit for our kids! The game room was also fun! The foosball table could be replaced as it was falling apart. They have food on-site that you can order, ice, firewood $10 and they will deliver to your site. To no fault of KOA there are no lifeguards and people just let their kids go to the pool by themselves. The bathrooms are individual rooms with a shower and toilet -wish there were a little bigger ones as they were a little tight with trying to shower kids and myself. The bathrooms also looked like black mold was on the ceiling. Otherwise they were clean except some where there were some disrespectful campers and not cleaning up after themselves(beard shavings so hair was literally all over the sink) to which no fault to KOA. Everyone abided by the quiet hours which was a relief! The last night was our worst night where we had some disrespectful campers - one who let their dog sit out of their camper and just bark till 10:45-11 (again no fault to KOA) . Then apparently KOA lets people book last minute, we had a neighbor pull in around 11:15 set up camp and stay up talking till 12:30. We will be staying at a KOA again, thank you for having us!

Service was amazing here! Everyone was so nice! We stayed in a bigger cabin with 4 people. It worked out good, would say the bathrooms were a little small, but that's okay. Loved that there was towels, and even some dish soap! I don't have any pets, but they also had a cute pet bow for pets! The view was gorgeous. I will 100% be coming back, to explore more!
