Great camp sites. Large and spacious. Clean facilities and friendly staff. My only complaint is that I couldn’t stay longer.

Over priced

Sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your stay, Prices are generally higher at all campgrounds on a holiday weekend verses regular dates, hope you can try and stay with us again during regular non-holiday week when prices aren't as steep.

The rate we paid for 1 night ($98) was a poor value for the site which was gravel and dirt, and close to others. Owners were very friendly though.

Staff was great, my water hose broke when we were off site and the staff called me to let me know a neighbor reported it to them! Jeff the maintenance guy was very helpful assisting me with working through some electrical issues I had with my rig, thank you Jeff! I would rate this a five if not for the daily train passing by.

Well maintained, beautiful sites, friendly staff. We usually stop here to and from Myrtle Beach. This last visit we met a BBQ Chef and family who cooked steaks for anyone in the park. Made our stay even more fun.

We passed back through Virginia on our way home and wanted to stay at the same KOA in Emporia. We absolutely adored Jackie and her happy attitude. Our stay was short but we will remember our journey and Jackie’s cheerful smile. Thanks for being so friendly!

Just wanted to say great job! I stay sometimes at your campground for work purposes and what a huge difference this past week in the climate of the facility. I had a last minute spot that was surely not my favorite, but seems that the overall improvements and the longer term guests that had been somewhat of an eye sore in the past are not present. I had to check into a hotel for the last night of

Sewer pipe is very high, difficult to empty tanks. People and place were nice

Unfortunately, this campground is located right by a train line. Trains went by frequently and blew the whistle which was quite disturbing. That said, check-in was easy, even though we didn’t have a reservation. Everything appeared to be neat clean, and the staff was friendly. Super cute puppy our neighbor had.

Very buggy , trains run all night so very noisy, picnic tables are set up next to neighbors sewer hookup , pull through sites are way too close to each other. No escort to site and personnel at store were in a hurry to close. They are a new KOA so probably still in growing stages.Unfortunately will not return to this KOA.

Did not sleep well at all as there were trains that ran really close by all night with their horns blaring. Why have tent sites in the back of the campground so close to the trains. I would not stay here again due to the trains.

Staff friendly, easy on and off for overnight stay in 40 foot 5th wheel and did not have to unhitch as pull through site level.

Overall stay was very good. Staff was excellent, helpful and courteous. Offered information about restaurants and places to go. Site # 126 was FHU, gravel and level. Other sites in that row were also good. New to KOA, they are working on new stuff. The active railroad tracks are about 100 yards from the campground so the noise was somewhat loud and often during our stay. We did manage to sleep OK.

We were just there overnight but we walked around to check it out for possible future visits! Liked what we saw! The spots with trees had plenty of room for navigating our travel trailer! Good job!

This is a new KOA that is not ready to be a KOA. There was no one in the office (only open 9 to 4). The water pressure was so bad it was difficult to flush the toilet or take a shower. There is also a train that is nearby that always blowing its whistle. We won't be returning

I had only intended to stay one night but from the moment I first arrived I was impressed and spent a very relaxing afternoon & evening there so the next day I inquired at the office if I could stay a 2nd night. The employee (EMPBHarvey) was super nice and not only allowed me to stay a second night but also made sure I wouldn't have to relocate to another campsite in my Class A motorhome. Thanks!

We spotted many improvements now that you are a KOA. Electrical connections could use an upgrade and the septic was too far away to use, but we didn’t really need it that night. Shower/bath facilities were very clean. Keep up the good work.

Staff was friendly site was big enough did not have to unhook for the night. It was easy to level with truck hooked up. Will definitely consider staying here in the future when passing thru. The only drawback was the trains going thru in the middle of night.

We arrived at 17:15 hrs and everything was locked up. We got out site from the pin board. We couldn’t enter the site because of low tree. We pulled into the next site, tried to contact someone but all we got was answer machine. At the office and another RV pulled in. He was driving a class b and had the site we pulled into. He offered to take our. Tried to level at the new site it was poor

Sorry to hear about your experience on our campground, the office does close at 5pm during the weekday, after hours the phone does go to a voice mail and informs you to leave a message and a staff member will call you right back. We hope you have safe travels on the road and hope to see you again.
