The campground was clean and quite. My only issue was my cable tv didn't work the whole week. When I asked I was told another site were also complaining. My stay was a out a week and a half. Don Cramer

The campsite is very nice, we enjoyed our stay. Staff were friendly and there is a lot of things to do. If you are someone that needs or wants a quieter place to stay, then this may not be for you. The road noise is quite loud so try to get a site further back maybe.

The staff are very courteous and accommodating. The grounds are clean and well kept. KOA Middlebury is the best campground in the area and a credit to the KOA company.

Lovely park, although our first site was downhill, and therefore we couldn’t get level. The manager was gracious and said we could move elsewhere and asked me where I would like. We settled on another site. And we got settled in.

Nice spaces, in #34, level and long enough for our 43 ft class A & tow vehicle. Swing wide when you leave park heading South on SR13. Yes, would stay again when in the area.

A very nice park overall but it does need some updating in the restrooms and a wall around the park for privacy and noise from the busy highways. We did appreciate the security measures taken at the restrooms (which was new to us). We visited for one night in the shoulder season so we were not able to utilize some of the ammenities such as the pool. We appreciated having a place to stay! Thanks

Restful weekend. Other than a barking dog.

The restroom at the south end is falling apart. There was no toilet paper in the middle stall for three days. Shower curtains are filthy.

Our site was perfect. Noisy neighbors partying late at night. Bathrooms were messy and old. Toilets don’t flush well.

We stayed three days and enjoyed the quiet time and the camp fires. Plus all our neighbors we very nice. The campground employees are excellent.

Great campground. WiFi needs a little upgrading

This park was recently sold. New owners seem to be struggling. Park is generally not as well kept as before .

Fairly level sites. Ample room between sites. Mostly isolated from road noise. Utilities were fine. Friendly staff. Would stay again and recommend.

Very nice koa. Friendly staff and clean grounds. Only negative I had was that the water had a lot of iron in it.

Friendly, welcoming and great communication with Jerry. Late arrival was a breeze and the camp is well marked and lit. Our first time backing into an RV spot and it was smooth and easy even in the dark with the camp layout/marking.

The CG was nice but the after-hours check-in and payment portion seemed shady. The “available “ sites for night check-in were only the most expensive (although the CG was 3/4 empty) and no prices were quoted. When we “trued up” the next day, the price seemed to changed depend on whether or not we wanted a receipt. That’s more than odd.

Manager was friendly and very accommodating. Bathrooms need updating.

Staff is great, grounds are well kept, roomy level sites. It’s a nice overnight stay, a little noise from the interstate but quiet enough inside the Rv. Mens bathroom and showers need some maintenance, shower heads shot, doors missing latches and hooks, one mixer valve does cold only.

Bath house restrooms were dirty, toilets stopped up, out of toilet paper.

The staff who checked us in were great. Sites were very narrow. Patios were sunken, uneven and not maintained since they were installed. Not a good representation of the KOA brand.

We stayed here two nights in Sept 2022, very nice campground, our site, #36, was level and at the end of a row, easy in and out. We would stay here again. Happy Trails!

Great location for visiting RV manufacturers and going to Shipshewana. Campground was clean and gravel roads were graded nicely. Getting in and out of sites is s bit tight. Traffic noise is quite loud from nearby crossroads, but that is beyond the campgrounds control. Would stay there again.

Great area. Nice campground

OK for a one or two night stop, but for light sleepers, it's very noisy with semi traffic at all times since it's at the intersection of IN-20 and IN-13. The campground was clean though but the showers could use some updating.

We moved campsite because of yellow jacket nest in ground on first site. They proceeded to place at least two other campers on that site without doing anything. We warned those campers for their safety. Bathrooms were unclean and trash containers completely full for first two days at campground. Traffic from road noisy ... semi-trucks Jake braking. Area and bike trail in the area were

Sites way too small. Sign said ice cream at 7pm, they were already closed up at 7pm.

Très agréable séjour.

Very friendly staff. Well maintained. Sites typical of KOA. Stayed for one night on way west. Very quiet on a Saturday night in early May. I recommend if you need a quick overnight or a longer stay in the area.

This KOA campground in Indiana was a lovely surprise on what could have otherwise been a disappointing spring break. After our initial plans to head south and Camp with another family were cancelled due to severe thunderstorms, we looked into what else was open for camping closer to the great lakes area, and found this campground. A couple calls later and we were all set and arrived and I have a hard time putting into words how wonderful the staff is. They're genuinely friendly and very helpful! Fortunately the campground was nearly empty and we were able to get two nice sites together so we could be next to our camping friends and we all had a great time. While tent camping would probably be OK too, our small travel trailer was perfect. There were some HUGE travel trailers there, quite possibly the biggest I've seen. But there are a lot of pull-through sites to accommode that and all the sites have a mostly-level drive. There are cabins too but we didn't look into the details of those. The kids enjoyed riding bikes up and down the camp road, and there was a little pond which offered license-free catch-and-release fishing. I was not prepared for this (and even more surprised when my son said he wanted to put down his electronics and go fishing with his friends!) so I had to drive a few miles into town and buy a rod and hooks and worms at a local sports shop. My son even caught his first fish! And our friends daughter stayed occupied catching garter snakes. Not that I'm a huge outdoorsman, but it was a very nice parent moment to see all the kids off their electronics participating in nature. There's restaurants and a great donut shop nearby and lots of horse and buggy traffic from the local Amish population. This was nice as it gave us a chance not to gawk, but rather to discuss with our children about different lifestyle choices and possible rewards/challenges associated with that, and hopefully instilled some acceptance of other people's choices. There are a couple nice hiking trails on the campground as well. They're perfect for just taking a stroll through the woods with one little hill to contend with, and a little minigolf course for the kiddos to play on a bit. There is also a fenced in dog run for Fido to do his business off-leash, just please pick up after your pet. I cleaned a lot of old dog-logs just so I/my dog didn't step in it, and was rather irritated that dog owners wouldnt have done that themselves. I imagine in high summer when the campground is packed, it might not be as ideal for a quiet camping trip, but that also opens up more chance for social interaction and those quirky little temporary camp friendships that kids are so adept at creating, so I bet it'd still be fun, just in a different way. Overall I recommend this KOA (more than any other KOA or certain picnic basket stealing bear campgrounds I've been to in the past!), and will likely return, even if theres no other cancelation to drive the necessity. It was just a good time.
