We had a very pleasant stay overall and would give this campground 4 stars. The campground itself is a bit dated, and the sites are quite tight, especially for larger rigs. We have a 35’ fifth wheel, 101” wide-body, and stayed on a patio deluxe site. While the site worked, it was definitely snug — our awning was only inches from our neighbor’s site. That would really be my only criticis

Here’s a polished version under 400 characters: We really enjoyed our stay at Elkhart Co./Middlebury KOA! The staff was very accommodating with our extra vehicle and trailer, and we were especially grateful they loaned us a surge protector after our in-laws accidentally misplaced ours. Our only wish was that the pool stayed open a little later. Thank you for the kindness and hospitality!

I would normally rate higher but a bad storm knocked out power to the entire campground, and it wasn't restored by the time I departed a day early. There was no one to talk to in person. Just a sign in the door and a phone number. I didn't see anyone checking to see if everyone was all right while I was there. I'm sure this was a costly experience for the owners, so I didn't seek reimbursement.

Nice and clean… space are very close together. Fire pits are at the end of the sites, so it doesn’t make it conducive to making camp fires. Very nice staff!

Office, pool, rec room all closed at 6pm. We checked in at 5:30. Wasn't able to use any of the above. Very disappointed. Wouldn't recommend

The campground needs a little updating, our site would have been muddy if we didn't have our rug, we cleaned up several dog messes in the k9 area, which is not the campgrounds fault because there were plenty of bags, also not the campgrounds fault is the noise from traffic. This was the third time to stay because we had business in the area. We would stay here again.

Sites are very small. Our neighbor kept walking through and or driving their golf cart between our grill and camper...no we didn't say anything as we were only staying 1 night and we know you can't fix stupid. Water was yellow, even with our filter on. Staff was very kind and friendly, they were the best part of our stay. Most likely would not stay here again.

Site #27 the water smelled extremely strong like rust. Showering left thd smell on my skin and hair. The water had a tint to it. Sites were very close together, neighbors fire pit was right next to your coach. Good size dog park/pool looked green/walk down a pretty steep hill to get to putt putt etc. Ok for a necessary stay/rv work. Pretty clean. Didn't use bathrooms/laundry.

Called an hour before arrival and staff was very helpful in securing us a site for the night. Well-maintained campground. Sites are kinda close but we enjoyed our stay. We would stop again while traveling through.

Camp site was good other than the water faucet needed repair. The dog park has poo not cleaned up and when we went to use dump Station it was full.

All services worked, but sites were rather small and amenities (especially for kids) were kinda sparse. It was an "okay" place to stay, but we'll probably look at a different campground the next time.

Very nice grounds. Bathroom/showers were so so need some upgrades. Store could use more basic food items, like milk/OJ. Staff was friendly.

The campground was very quiet. The grass was freshly mowed. We booked a pull through lot for extra room. The pull through lots are very small. We couldn’t put our awning out bc it would be in the road. We had to angle our truck to stay out of the road. We only have a 30’ trailer, so we aren’t sporting a super sized rig. Several parts of the campground need maintenance and updates.

The camping site was level and good for what we came to do (Flea Market) etc. The staff members were friendly and helpful. The area we stay at was not kept up to good. The trash containers were very bad and not clean at all. Lids were left up and trash on the ground all around them. The pool water was murky and did not look clean.

This is a tight campground and the two spots we had were pretty unlevel. The biggest issue is what appeared to be a permanent or long term resident, whose camper smelled so bad (synthetic roses and cigarettes), that we could not spend any time outside the camper. The pool is a little dingy and off color. Overall, we were not impressed here at all, it was a little stressful.

Driving in, the place looks dumpy. There is an empty shopping cart sitting at the right side of the entrance, trash around the exposed dumpsters, junk around fulltime campers. There really is no reason for this, it would cost nothing to tidy up a bit. Lady in office is very nice. The overnight campsites are adequate. We were thankful for a good storm shelter that night.

Beautiful camoground with nice shade, clean was houses, nice pool... My two dogs enjoyed the dog run. The staff are all friendly ans helpful. We will definitly return & enjoy more of this lovely and peaceful Amish area.

Before the storm hit, there were crickets from management. Map had no storm shelter. I understand that power and this water also were down, but although they clearly have my email address (We get automatic emails about reservations.) Crickets again. Also, the pull through wasn't long enough for our 31 foot travel trailer. We had problems with the slide out & then a tree blocked our awning.

That would really be my only criticism regarding the site. That said, the redeeming quality of this campground is absolutely the people. The staff were helpful, kind, courteous, and accommodating. They truly could not have been nicer, and their hospitality made a big difference in our stay. We had read some complaints about the water having too much iron, but we found that to be easily handled by using a simple Camco water filter. With the filter, we had no problem at all. Overall, this is a nice campground with wonderful people. With some updates and a little more spacing between sites, it could easily be even better.
