I have been staying in KOA cabins since I was a child. I am now 45. In all those 100s of visits to KOAs over a 40 year span this was honestly the very first time a KOA cabin did not meet the usual standards of excellence KOA has always lived up to. The cabin had a very strong smell of urine and the cabin was not clean. Even the mattress on the bed was dirty. We still love KOAs but not this one.

We ask for a delux cabin and was told they had a super delux cabin. We had to provide our own bedding, etc. which had been provided at other delux cabins, could not get TV to work. Appeared very old in need of outside care. Bathroom door very tight and hard to open and close. Small inside.

The bar is a plus, nice to get off the road, relax have a cocktail and visit with other KOA campers They make good pizza They need more help to run the bar and check in campers and cook takes more than 1 person location is right off the interstate

We arrived and one of the ladies was kind and the other kind of made us feel like we were imposing for wanting to buy something and order food. We ignored it. The cabin was a little dirty. Food in the fridge stuck to the inside and there was hair on the shower wall. We wiped everything down and used our own linens. Those in their own RVs seemed to be happy. Maybe not a place to get a cabin.

The ac needs to be replaced. It cannot keep it cool in the heat. Other than that, it was great.

I stayed for 1 night in a Deluxe Cabin. Excellent staff! The bed was comfortable and the convenience of having a full bathroom was great. Everything in the Cabin worked as it should. It was clean and fairly updated (fit my needs perfectly). K-9 Area was also fabulous.

The “deluxe” cabin we stayed in was dirty, bed was uncomfortable, floor & shower was in need of repair and the poop in the dog run was overflowing. Seems like the place isn’t being maintained.

Elk City KOA is a very convenient location, however that lends to a road noisy stay. The campground is neat and clean and the people/patrons are very nice.

We stayed in a deluxe cabin on our way to and from Missouri. It was so convenient to have the linens supplied and our dog allowed. It was clean and comfortable. We ate at the restaurant for dinner and it was tasty. The staff was very friendly.

Stayed in a deluxe cabin and it was dirtiest KOA I have ever stayed. There was grime in & around the shower & bathroom sink. The freezer had a lot of hair in it. The smoking container on the porch hadn't been emptied in awhile & multiple spiders hung from the large webs over the porch. There was no picnic table nearby for cooking - & cooking is not allowed in the cabins. This is only the beginning

we got a deluxe kamping kabin, and we’re looking forward to it all day. The a/c unit was around the corner from the bed, so were hot. They had a PLASTIC mattress cover under the sheets which made us sweat wherever we were touching the bed. gross. They didn’t have a Kamper Kitchen, (which is ok) but the sink in the laundry room to wash dishes at was full of big dead bugs and spider webs.

This KOA did not feel as welcoming as I'm used to feeling at KOA. One out of three showers did not work at all, the others were barely usable. That, and hundreds (thousands?) of crickets, dead and alive, infesting the bathroom area. Just not what I expect from KOA.

The staff was great and the location was nice. Please update the AC units in the cabins. My cabin did not get below 80° inside until the sun went down. Also, all three showers are jacked up. Broken nobs or showerheads.
