Very nice, well kept campground with clean facilities. The staff were great; friendly and welcoming. Burgers in the bar were good; we appreciated the convenience. We would definitely stay again!

We stay here every trip through Oklahoma due to environment, staff, and price, BUT the internet never works, having a beautiful bar, but cannot serve, and the quality of food they make/sell are very disappointing. The stay is well worth the money, but since changing ownership; a lot of the small things have stopped.

We appreciated the office and grill hours as we arrived later in the day. The playground equipment needs to be updated. Otherwise, the campground was clean and safe, what we expect from a KOA.

This was our 4th or 5th stay. It's great to be able to pull in and order a pizza at check in so by the time we are set up we can have something to eat and not have to worry about fixing it. Has always been a great stay.

Nice park enjoyed the stay and the attendants moved us to a better site to accommodate our dogs. I would stay there again.

We arrived later in the evening and had easy check in and ordered burgers from the food counter. The burgers were great and the service was friendly. We didn't use any of the other facilities, but several families were enjoying the pool and having fun. Would recommend this campground.

This is a shady park. It is a good place to spend a night. The office doubles as a tavern. It is right on Route 66. It could use weedeating and some updating.

Very clean and well kept!! Will def be staying here again. Cant say this for Checotah koa. Checotah is unkept with what appears to be abandoned 5th wheels �� on a few sites. 30 amp wont run AC and microwave at the same time. ���‍���

Cabin was clean and cool! The bugs were intense so I would suggest motion sensor lights out front of cabin as they were left on for hours causing tons of bugs around and in the cabin.

Our time spent at the KOA was very enjoyable! Nice park for families to spend some R&R and the staff is nice. One of our favorite parts is the pool to cool off on a hot day, and taking a walk over to Clinton Lake to watch the sunset. Huge shout out to KOA Rep Kris. Very friendly, wonderful personality, and a huge help throughout our whole stay here. You Rock! Hope to visit again one day.

The lady behind the counter was amazing, the cabin was clean. The bunk bed looked like the top rails are falling apart, and the shower was cold. I did read the sign that said cold was hot and hot was cold. Well hot was super cold and cold was a little warmer but not much. All and all I’d still recommend to others. The staff was really amazing. Thank you.

Great place. We had a little trouble getting the TV channels working, but then we are almost 80 years old. :-)

It was OK. Only one restroom/shower facility so had to go a longer distance when there was one right close to my site but it was locked up. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Laundry room had two washers one was broken. It was OK for one night- no cable and WiFi was weak, so no streaming.

We were assigned site 60. It has water running through it from the laundry. Either fix the laundry drainage or close the site. We were moved to another site so it all worked out. But if it had been a full park it would have been unsatisfactory to stay on site 60.

It is my opinion that with the rates we pay nowadays that decent Wi-Fi should be available. It is available at some of your campgrounds, but not others.

A local resident was walking around soliciting campers to purchase fishing lures from her. She was pleasant and did not ruin my stay, however, I suggest maybe a sign so people interested can approach her as apposed to her approaching campers.

Clean, neat, great staff, kids enjoying the pool. Trees, easy in and out from I-40. Long spaces, very comfortable. We traveled in a 42 ft pulling a Jeep 4 door Wrangler.

Overall park was very nice. Better attention needs to be paid at the dog park. My dogs had large painful grass spurs from being in the dog park. The garbage can had not been emptied, it was full of poop bags and flies. The smell from the dog park trash can was horrible.

Bathrooms were dirty; back bathrooms were not available despite the code (they were actually padlocked. Black tanks smelled bad; no wifi to speak of. Very run down. My particular spot was one of the worst and there were plenty of others that were much nicer. Staff on the first day barely seemed to care that we were there at all. Had I not been so tired, we wouldn't have stayed at all.

We stayed here over the Memorial Day weekend. Quite, nicely maintained. The food at the restaurant was mediocre, my burger had a bizarre seasoning, the cheese was not melted and the bacon was chopped not strips and even the bun was cold.

The experience was great but you should definitely call ahead with questions. The pool was closed early and we were told through booking that there was electricity at the camping sites but there is not. Even the sites with electricity did not have standard outlets. If you have a blow up mattress or have any need for electricity , you will have to walk out to the bathrooms and pump up your mattress or charge your phone. Otherwise the place was wonderful, the people were kind, and we have no complaints. Oklahoma is stunning and the field next door...when the sun rose... was mind blowing. New retirement plans unlocked lol. I suggest calling ahead with any questions you have because there is nothing around so be prepared and outside of the electricity, we were so stunned by the beauty of the place and the kindness of the people.
