The staff was wonderful. Friendly , efficient and super helpful!! The KOA was clean and the food offering in the morning was great. The BBQ was delicious!!!!

This KoA looks abandoned. While the price was right, it’s not up to KoA standards. The playground was the absolute worse. It may be leftover from the 1980s with no improvements or maintenance done on it at all. The rusted, bent basketball ring (no net) on grass was really disappointing. Trash was overflowing, dog park was thru a field, no hot water in showers, bathroom lock is on fritz.

The campsite was nice and pretty level. We liked our stop because it was away from the highway noise. The washers and dryers we a bit dated. Great running space for the dogs. We were looking for to getting food at the restaurant after we arrived, however, it closed at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday… a busy travel day. Easy access off I-40 and right on Rt. 66.

We ask for a delux cabin and was told they had a super delux cabin. We had to provide our own bedding, etc. which had been provided at other delux cabins, could not get TV to work. Appeared very old in need of outside care. Bathroom door very tight and hard to open and close. Small inside.

The benches on the dog park need to be replaced. Stayed one night did not use any other amenities. The lady that checked me in was very nice and personable.

Loved the convenient location and easy walk to the lake. The all-in-one clerk/bartender/cook/manager was so friendly and helpful! Road noise was faint and the bathrooms were clean, but there was no hot water, so no showers at the camp, which is the reason for the 4-star rating. Plumber service was a week away. Would stay again if plumbing is fixed.

Very friendly staff! Robin was great and fixed us a very delicious dinner at the tavern at the koa store/tavern. Campgrounds was clean and would visit again!

The mom and daughter had great personality. Treated us like we were best friends. First time we seen a bar at a KOA .Loved that idea. Nice to get a night cap after a long drive.

Just passing through and this was the perfect spot for an overnight visit. Large level sit, easy in and out, close to the highway but quiet.

It was a good stop over, however hot water was not working while we were there so we couldn't take a shower.

I was welcomed by a wonderful woman who checked me in. Super efficient and personable. The camp site was very level which made setting up easy. I was impressed with the fact they had a bar and restaurant right there. How nice for travelers and guests.

We always have a good time when we stay at the Elk City KOA! The park is always clean. We did have one problem....which was really not a problem. Our RV is so big and tall that when we pulled in to our spot, the trees were blocking our TV satellite. That proved to be a minor nuisance and next time we will just park in a different spot. We had a very good time!

The front desk clerk was fabulous as she also was bartending and cooking at the same time. The campground however was a mess. Lawn was unmowed and the shower room had a sign that read no hot water.....unexeptable.

Check-in was easy, the staff member was friendly and the office was inviting. However, the park has clearly seen better days. The "grass" areas, including the area between the road and the dog park and inside the dog park is filled with burrs that our dogs got in their paws. Other dog owners reported the same experience. The well water may need to be tested as we both became ill after departure.

Superior service throughout our stay! A special thank U to Patty who checked us in, served us some fresh hot pizza and drinks from the tavern! Her customer service, personally and enthusiasm made our night after a busy travel day! A nice change from the some of the other campgrounds. Check in was easy. Place was small and inviting, well kept, and bathrooms very clean. Unfortunately because it was so close to the highway, the traffic was noisy all night long. But I also appreciated how close it was to get back on the highway and continue our cross country adventure so it was worth it and I would stay here again with ear plugs.

Nice clean KOA. Level sites. A few tight turns where you need to be careful with a motor home. Would not recommend dog park, it is loaded with large red ants!

They were having plumbing issues when we were there so there was no hot water. Otherwise a good stay and we appreciated the dog park.

We had a problem coming back from our trip heading east. The exit ramp was closed & the campground should have informed us & the other campers. We had to drive a few miles east & take a horrible road back to the koa. Also they serve breakfast & dinner but do not deliver to your site. If you’re only staying one night. While all this may sound trivial but after a long day traveling it isn’t. Tha

No hot water at KOA. Washers took about an hour to do load. No water pressure. Should have been given notice ahead of time about water problems. Nearby lake was good for fishing. Would not stay here again.

Nice campground. Would stay again. Would have given it 5 stars except the internet was dismal! The Ookla speed test site showed 5 megabits/sec and the connection frequently was disrupted. To the owners-you need to better in this day and age-high speed connectivity is a must for the traveling public.

Stayed 2 nights in our 30' Motorhome and didn't have any issues. Big pull through level sites. We were in Site 53 with big shaded trees. There is a back side to the park with no shade. 7 cabins on site to rent, big playground, big dog park area, close to Lake Clinton where you can off leash run in the field as nobody is at the park area. Will definitely stay again!
