We were just in overnight. the park was very neat and clean with plenty of grassy areas to walk my dogs. Easy off and back on to I40. A welcomed oasis on our long drive to NM

It was very peacefull. I had the pool all to myself. They are and were very friendly. I will definetly stay there again and recommed it to anyone traveling I40.

Last time I stayed here with a campervan was about 3 or 4 years ago. Arrived after dark and got check in paper and found spot ok. Hookup to shore power was fine. Wifi was not working and after calling after hours number was told by young lady it was offline for some reason. Online checkin process didn’t indicate this. Reason for 3 Stars was horrible condition and cleanliness of showers.

Only there overnight. Older resort with narrow roads and spots but our 45ft and tow vehicle fit. Gravel pads. Have small restaurant and small bar. We had a pizza from there, a litt.e greasy but good. Nice for overnight stay.

Nice shady spot to spend the evening, even thiugh it was very warm. The swimming pool was an added bonus after a long days drive. Staff were friendly and most helpful in our need for an evening layover. Thank you

My wife was very excited to know there was a pool, so we reserved a site. When we arrived, we were told the pool was closed without reason. It was too late in the day to go further down the highway, so we stayed. Then when we went to hook up our sewer hose the connection was not a threaded PVC interface, but some sites had the proper connection. Yet I still paid full price for subpar service.

I have stayed at this KOA 40-50 times during the past 25 years. It is a small, quiet, wonderful, hidden jewel in the KOA empire! Hostess, receptionist, cook, and waitress Kirsten is exceptional in every respect. The Moose Knuckle Tavern is a wonderful addition in recent years! Thank you! Dr. Doug Los 436D9.

I'm a tent camper, and KOA is clearly focused on the RV crowd, which sucks for tent campers. Most KOA campgrounds are close to freeways and noisy. Elk City is no exception. Very clean, well cared for. Friendly staff. Wouldn't allow us to use the pool despite others having been in it when we arrived. No reason was given. Will likely use other campgrounds, and NOT renew my rewards account.

The staff was the only highlight—very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the cabin had a known hot-water issue, the pool was closed despite 104°F heat, and the undersized AC struggled to keep the cabin cool. The Wi-Fi was also extremely poor. Overall, the staff was great, but the facilities were disappointing. We would not return

Stay was great. Awesome facility and nice sites. I’m just curious why with so many sites available and do few guests…why do you park everyone together instead of spacing them out?

We didn't end up staying there as the pool.was closed and we have 2 kids and didn't feel comfortable with no fence between the park and the road

Good overnight spot, it was clean. Staff was one gal working everything, so she was a bit stressed. She was cooking food in the tavern, working the check in, and the drinks/store area. There is not much here other than a good overnight spot going across county. The Tavern is a nice add but closes at 9 PM. Fine for a one-night deal.

Siri did not take us to the site and although the reception was polite she was not very friendly hard work for any conversation otherwise very nice pool and facilities

Great place to stop for the night. Staff was friendly and helpful. They even have a small restaurant and bar onsite. We will stay here again.

The KOA its self was nice and clean. The problem was with the staff . The lady that was there when we were leaving was super unhelpful and definitely had awful customer service skills.My son and husband were almost attacked by the koa neighbors dogs . Instead of letting us call the manager we got nothing but we can’t do anything about it call the police. Absolutely not we paid to stay isn’t my

Enjoyed the restaurant and bar. Good food reasonably priced. We had a shady pull thru site that was very level. Will stay here again on our future travels on I-40.

easy on and off from I-40, large, well kept sites. Bathrooms were clean but had many bugs (crickets, flies....) Overall, we enjoyed out stay and would stay again

I stay at this KOA fairly often. This time the campground seemed in great shape, and we enjoyed our time. We have never had a bad experience here, but this time we were completely comfortable.

People were super nice and very helpful. Price was great. Crickets though were out of control in the office, bathrooms and even the restaurant. Mother Nature can be tough to battle but they need to do something to keep the bugs out of these spaces.

I loved the young lady that checked us in. She was funny with a great personality. The campground was neat and clean and the pool looked very inviting. The bathrooms could use an update. I would definitely stay here again.

Campground isn’t kept up to date, everything is old , sewers overflowed while we were dumping, let the office know and was told we were in the wrong dump , wasn’t informed when we checked in, had to go to the regular dump station and the way pressure was so low we couldn’t flush our black tank. Worst KOA experience.

2nd stay at a KOA! Cabin was great & very cooled off on hot night when my dog & I arrived. Message inside about cold/hot water being opposite in the shower but water never got warm at all. Was looking forward to hot shower after backcountry camping for 5 days prior. Employee at my checkout didn’t acknowledge me at all when I walked in, got a magnet to buy & return key. Felt like I was a problem.

Here now for an overnight. Lovely setting, great dog park areas. Convenient location right off the expressway. We had thin crust pizza for dinner (in the KOA lodge area) - pizza was delicious, highly recommend! Bathrooms and showers are clean, staff very friendly, clean park. Happy we decided to stay here! Also going to check out Family Traditions Grill (in nearby Canute) on our way out of town tomorrow. Their burgers and food have fantastic reviews, excited to try it out!
