As always a good stay. Samantha aka Sammy is great. Food in their snack bar is good. The pool looked wonderful but unfortunately we didn’t bring our swim suits! Restrooms are clean however, they really need a make over especially the showers. It seems like the new owners aren’t too interested in updating. The weather went from high 90’s when we arrived to 75 with the invasion of crickets!

Nice long level sites. Snack Bar and Bar onsite with limited hours. Concerns are the Goathead Stickers in the area leading to and in the K9 Park that need to be cleared away for puppies. Second, the large oversize speed bumps/Potholes. Some RV's have low clearance and I lose a Snap Pad just about every visit, no matter how careful I am.

For the size it was okay, the staff is very friendly. My problem with it is regarding the grounds, the kampk9 area was loaded with thorns that both of our dogs got in their paws as soon as they walked in. One of them had to be carried out the other was able to walk on 3 legs out. I had to use tweezers to remove all of the thorns from their feet. We should have been warned about them.

Only had hot water in the showers while I was looking forward to a nice cold shower as it was very hot and humid. No picnic tables at the sights. Very outdated

We stayed here during a softball tournament for our daughter and it was a great time! The place was nice, the staff were incredible and very welcoming! We would love to go back again!

Have stayed at many KOA campgrounds but this one was one of the best! Nice sites, friendly staff, clean, restaurant and bar! Food was delicious! Will definitely stay again!

We only stayed 1 night but the campground was nice. We had drinks and food at the Tavern on site. Sammy checked us in, she was also the bar tender, waitress and chef. Thanks Sammy, you were doing it all with patience and kindness.

Electrical box 110 outlet did not work. Tape covering missing breaker slot. Ants everywhere. Washers in laundry were elevated on a wood platform that made them difficult to use. Laundry not air conditioned. Assigned a site with excessive I-40 road noise. Showers old and dirty. Paid $41 for a 30 amp pull through. Will not be back.

Always friendly, they now offer a few meals in the restaurant area. Level spots and very clean area. We stop by there everytime when traveling through the area.

Soooo glad the outdoor pol was open sept 15!!! Was 100 degrees. The pizza and bar food was very good!

Showers were gross, need updating. No WiFi. Enjoyed the on site bar. Campsite was covered with ants and crickets, you need to do something about this. Otherwise a peaceful stay

The campground was nice. We only stayed one night. But the very loud trains laying on the horns, even in the middle of the night was terrible!!! Don’t love being awakened by a loud trains horn that goes on for several minutes.

The bathrooms were pretty clean. The sites in the front had trees. The pool was nice however, a group of people came one afternoon. One lady had her small dog sitting on the steps of the water. Another guy brought a glass bottle of wine. The owner or manager brought out food so she had to have seen it. Idk if they were locals or from the back where the seasonal or permanent sites were.

Great stay at Elk City / Clinton KOA Journey! Spacious pull-through site with 50-amp full hookups, friendly staff, clean bathrooms, quiet campground, good Wi-Fi, and decent cell service. The main issue is the outdated map—some roads are now campsites, creating dead ends not shown on the office map. The office should update or mark the old maps.

We stayed in one of the lodges. The bed was almost impossible to sleep in. the be was so tall a normal sized person would have a difficult time to get in. It is time for all KOA's to become more senior friendly and more ADA compliant.

Worst KOA experience ever! The cabin was not entirely clean, the cold water did not work at all, so we could not use the shower or kitchen sink because of the scalding hot water. Called office and were told they had no idea what was wrong. No kitchen utensils, plates, etc. No linens for bunk beds and one support slat fell off of bottom bunk. AC did not cool cabin and WiFi would not work. HORRIBLE!

We enjoyed our spot. It was shaded and we needed that because it was 100F outside. We liked the large dog park because it had automatic lights so we could play with our dog after the sun went down. We liked that the lake was within walking distance from the campground. Staff was friendly. There is a tavern incorporated into the main office. It's a nice touch.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Cabin with bathroom really met our needs. It is really nice to have the bar/grill on site so we didn't have to ho anywhere for dinner. One suggestion-- a queen bed would be so much better than the standard double.

Nice hosts, clean facilities and nice pool. Unfortunately sites has electrical issues and shore power breaker would trip every 30min. Hooked to another site that was better but still tripped a couple times overnight. Asked for maintenance to look at it but no one ever showed up.

The park is fine but the internet is almost non existent. If the internet worked I would give them a great rating. The people were friendly and accommodating! The facilities are well maintained. All of that is well but I couldn’t even get some of my devices to connect to the very weak internet. Internet is very important in todays world!

Pool was wonderful, staff were very accommodating. The small dog park had some kind of weed that leave small sharp thistles in the dogs paws. The big park in the back didn’t have them so we used that one the rest of the stay. The woman that opened the store on the 31st was very cheerful and friendly

We were just in overnight. the park was very neat and clean with plenty of grassy areas to walk my dogs. Easy off and back on to I40. A welcomed oasis on our long drive to NM

Here now for an overnight. Lovely setting, great dog park areas. Convenient location right off the expressway. We had thin crust pizza for dinner (in the KOA lodge area) - pizza was delicious, highly recommend! Bathrooms and showers are clean, staff very friendly, clean park. Happy we decided to stay here! Also going to check out Family Traditions Grill (in nearby Canute) on our way out of town tomorrow. Their burgers and food have fantastic reviews, excited to try it out!
