Was our 1st time staying, and I must say that I was very pleasantly surprised. I had fears that it would be just another noisy KOA with being situated in the middle of town, but the campground was so quiet and clean with spacious sites. The big surprise was the massive dog park, which looked almost a big as a football field! We will definitely return �

We enjoyed our stay at the Dodge City KOA. We appreciated the pull-through with the concrete pad and the pavement throughout the camp ground. The electricity was great. The water had wonderful pressure. The park itself was easy to get in and out of with our rig. It is a place we would stay at again if in the area.

Had problems finding the KOA - no signage & Garmin wasn't correct. Also, the park's internet was currently not working and one bathroom was not working. We didn't need the non-working items so not a problem. But why pay full-price when there are problems? Nice size spaces and level.

good For a one or two night stay to see the town. no shade and no internet in the park, only available in the office.

Campground was right in town. We only stayed one night. In their defense, we arrived late in the day and left at 10:00 the next morning. No wifi and no one on site.

We had a concrete pull-thru which was super long and relatively level. Check-in was easy, the park is easy to navigate, and the office personnel were helpful. I was especially glad that they took my postcards to mail for me.

Pleasant stay, but wish a code system was in place to use restroom & showers. It was open to anyone. People who did not appear to be KOA campers came in at night (after office closed) to use the facilities. Safety issue.

Campgrounds were well kept.Had an amazing dog park.Disappoited nothing for sale in office to eat.

Arrived at prime checkin time (3 pm) and no one in office for an hour. We had reservations but no info left for us as was for others outside office. No one knew where or when office person would return. Othe would be campeys came and left in disgust as they would not wait to get a site for the night. We found an empty partial hookup back in. Got a FHU next day and charged for that for all 3 nights

The sites are very large, concrete pads for the most part. Be aware that there is no shade available and WIFI was down when we were there. The park is very conveniently located to the museum and points of interest. The gentleman working the desk was very friendly and helpful.

Showers not well maintained. Standing water in them. Campground is in a noisy area, trains and fans from grain elevators. Very convenient to old Dodge City and museum.

The site was good, but had several other issues. No Wi-Fi for the 3 days we were there. No ice in the store, or much else. The laundry had only 2 working washing machines, and 1 working dryer. The showers were dark, and not cleaned, and on a timer. The only staff we saw was the girl in the office, and although she was very nice, was not able to help us with ice or wi-fi. Disappointed in KOA.

Camping area was nice enough but for some reasons the bathrooms at the far end where we were staying were locked up. Had to walk all the way to the front office to use the bathroom. Trash was overflowing in all the trash cans through out the campground, office was closed by 6pm and no one to answer questions. Also wifi was not working. Just appeared campground was not really managed well.

Loved the facility is very nice. Office is supposed to be open at 10 and I was there at 10:20 and nobody was there. The noise from dirt bikes on Saturday night after 10 PM is a problem.

Huge pull through, level. Bathrooms and laundry clean. Wifi only in office due to previous storms as of 9-27-24 hopefully they get that fixed. Front counter young lady was courteous and professional. Nice place if you visit the area or just passing through.

I don’t believe in scathing, hateful remarks about a few inconveniences at a place of business so this isn’t a complaint just my visit this time. Like every other time I’m here the visit to this campground was great. It’s very clean and the staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. Only inconvenience I had was my spot was kind of tight to get into and the wi-fi was down. No big deal. Great

The Dodge City KOA is a new facility. The office/store/laundry/bath is new, modern and clean. The sites are level long concrete pads. Utilities are located within easy access. There is grass at the sites, and more room than traditional old KOA parks. They have planted trees. Unfortunately they are many years away from providing any useful shade, but they look nice. Would stay again.

Pull thru site- still had to unhook due to length and location of hookup. NO WIFI. Rough streets and little signage to locate.

Positives: Leslie was very friendly/helpful and found us a site "last minute" ! We checked in after store hours but map & paperwork were waiting for us in the lobby. Campground is newer and signs were easy to see/follow, even after dark. Negatives: Store hours should be longer. No security code necessary to enter bathroom/showers.

We needed our propane tank refilled and we’re disappointed when we were told by staff they were out of propane. How does that happen?

We only pulled in for the night. Office was closed even tho the hours stated they were open until 6pm, it was 4:30. Sites were concrete pads very level. We didn’t need to unhook. Great locale for visiting the attractions.
