Park has great potential and is in a great location. Really like the physical layout and setup. It has a maintenance problem - They were mowing when we left but the grass was very high (at least two weeks since it had been last mowed) and I don't think it has been weeded yet this season. The garbage was overflowing in the cans all four nights we were there.

The park was very unkempt, trash cans overflowing, fire ring filled with litter and cigarette butts, grass I between sites not mowed or trimmed. Didn’t see any signs of maintenance during our two day stay. On the plus side the park is very close to the Boot Hill Museum and several good restaurants.

Wi-fi advertised BUT not available. Trash bins overflowing. Grass not mowed. Worker not very helpful. Bathrooms/ shower lovely! Concrete pads awesome!

This campground needs new management. Overgrown weeds and grass at most campsites. Site markers knocked over, trash overflowing throughout the park. Never saw the staff in the two nights we were there. Great location, but it does not come close to living up to the KOA brand.

Very trashy property. Grass wasn’t mowed, looks as if it has never been weedeated. Too few tv channels. No amenities. If you are not going to have a pool for the guests exclusive use, then the guests should be provided with passes to the public pool. Trash was just piled up at every trash can and never picked up so it was blowing all over the campground. It was a very disappointing experience.

The grounds needed a lot of work, fire pits were overgrown with grass, trash piled up around trash cans near gazebo, told a wi-fi router got wet so no wi-fi. Get a replacement router on business account. Apparently, the office wi-fi was working the whole time?? Get people who want to help keep it sparkling.

Location is good ,they haven't weed rated for months , you can't see the fire pits for the weeds,We Never saw anyone from the staff in the park,trash bins were Full and overflowing,With the KS winds trash blows everywhere,Not staffed like you expect at a KOA

Internet never worked, fire pit overgrown with grass and weeds. Would not recommend anything but an overnight stay at the most. The concrete pads were nice.

Grounds are in desperate need of mowing. Firepits you can barely see due to the grass and the weeds overtaking them. Grass is ankle high, trash cans around the grounds were full. Electric Pedestal overgrown with weeds and grass. Very disappointed for the amount of $$ someone pays to stay here and have to deal with high grass everywhere around your site. PRO, located close to alot of attractions

Was told on arrival there was 2 wifi available. After a couple hours of trying to find the wifi, went to the office and was informed they had had high winds recently and the wifi was down. Interestingly, the KOA private wifi was working. Also, the garbage bins were overflowing.

Staff very young and poorly trained.Checked in for 2 nights at 4 pm.Confirmed our reservation & handed us our map with our site. The following night @ 6 pm young girl knocks on our door confirms we are in site 27, we say yes. 5 minutes later she called me and told me we were in the wrong site and needed to move. Refused as we were leaving in the morning. We did not move.

Weeds were overgrown in the camp sights. Camp k9 in a public dog park that gets crowded or aggressive dogs are allowed. Honestly I’m not sure how KOA puts their name on this park. We had two days booked, but I left one day early and took the loss.. Just wasn’t comfortable staying here another night..

Nice level spots but is really needed to be mowed and better maintained. It was much nicer the last time we were here. That is the reason we came back.

Too hot to boondock as planned, site with electric and water hookups (no sewer) were necessary. Easy to reserve and late check-in. Common areas clean and well maintained. Good- near large grassy fenced dog park in a spot on exterior of loop. Site mostly level. Location of KOA was easy access to a fun water park. Bad- 30 amp fuse blew during storm; water from spidgot was dirt brown and unusable.

When we arrived the girl working there seemed kind of mad and was in a rush. I’m not sure what time this location closes, but we got there around 6:30pm. She said to me here is your information and that was it. She didn’t explain where to go or nothing. She just left. I stayed here before and so I thought I could stay again, but this was the last time. Maybe you should hire nicer people.

We stayed one night but the trash was extremely full the entire time… spilling onto the ground full. The KOA landscaping is not maintained as the fire ring was difficult to find because of the overgrowth and it was full of grass and weeds. The non-office bathroom was “closed for the season”… in June. That made no sense. It’s ok for one night. Not a great stay for the price.

Paid for pull thru got back in. Restrooms dirty. Filthy intact. No paper towels. Trash cans outside running over. Very difficult to find this KOA, poor signage. Was told by desk clerk manager would call us, never did. Worst KIA I have stayed in on this trip. My credit card needs refunded immediately.

Maintenance of grounds needs more attention, shower curtains in mens' showers were black with mildew and need to be replaced or washed with Clorox. But most importantly the Wi-Fi system in the park was terrible. The main logon page uses a white font on a white background, so you can't read the instructions. The Secure system only worked in the office and not in the park itself.

Very friendly staff. Good power, and water psi. BUT, the grass and weeds around our campsite, and area in general was over a foot tall. Just what we wanted, was to wade in insect filled (who knows what else!) weeds all weekend.

We had read some pros and cons but decided to ignore them. Glad we did. Nice site with concrete pad. Clean, well-kept bathrooms and showers. Grass cut. Nice large dog park. Good Verizon signal. Very close to downtown. Our only minor complaint was the trash receptacles were full around the campground on a Friday. Other than that, definitely would stay again.

Great Location, but the grounds are not being kept up. We stayed two nights and the trash cans were never dumped. They were over flowing with bags of trash and the entire area needed to be mowed.

Loved the concrete pads. Grass needed mowed badly! Weeds all around grill and both sides of pad area! Thought the storm shelter was Great! Had a Severe Thunderstorm Warning and went to the shelter! Felt Safe if a tornado would have hit.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The office staff were very polite and helpful. We had difficulty connecting our cable tv. Miguel, KOA host was a assisted and made the connection. Due to the severe storm warnings, we moved to the storm shelter to wait out the storms. We were very glad it was available. Thank You.

Never saw an employee. Hard to get into my spot. Had to make a really sharp turn going thru another spot to get to mine. Grass hasn’t been mowed in a while. Poor cable service. Good dog park.

Very clean, nice place to stay. Staff was super nice. Did not think much of Dodge City however. If you think Boot Hill Museum caters to Gunsmoke, 0 Gunsmoke memorabilia!

Convient place for me to stay visit family and friends! Bathrooms and showers are clean. Love the secure dog park.The grounds were not mowed and the trash was over flowing. The location not the most convient to find.

The grass hadn't been mowed in weeks. The trash cans were full and spilling over. When the grass was finally mowed , the grass clippings were not blow off the pavement. Weed eating needed to be done. The shower house in the rear of the campground was locked the entire time. We won't be back, won't be recommending your park. Definitely not upto KOA standards. Very disappointed

This is a nice KOA. It does need to be mowed and trimmed badly. They used to pick up trash from the trash cans around the park now those trash cans are overflowing with trash
