Stayed in tent. Don't recommend a tent stay here. Campground was extremely noisy. It is located close to town and there was drag racing going on all night. Did not sleep at all.

Upon arrival we could see perfectly manicured grounds. The lady that checked us in was helpful & kind, as was the escort to our site. Our pull-thru site was perfectly level. The pride of ownership in the KOA is obvious—we will recommend to all our friends!

We loved our stay. Clean restrooms and showers. WIFI was out due to the storms. Staff friendly.

NOT big rig friendly. We drive a 40' motorhome towing a car. Paid for a pull-thru with full hook ups. All connections are at back end of sites; a motorhome cannot reach without unhooking, and moving the car to the front. The laundry had two small washers & dryers. One each was out of order. We have stayed at dozens of KOAs across the country. This one was a big disappointment.

We stay at this KOA about once a year on our way to Wyoming or Montana from Texas. It is one of the best maintained campgrounds we use. Everything is clean, the staff is very nice and helpful, and it’s easy walking distance to Wright Park, Boot Hill Museum, and several restaurants. We will be back next year.

Cable tv connection didn’t work. Near by restrooms were closed. We spent a quiet night. Park was very clean. In a couple of years when the trees grow l’m sure it will be a beautiful place

Nice grounds and sites. Would like to see MPH signs. People drove as if on a public street. Loved the dog run. Only have one washer/drier available an inconvenience. Location of park was convenient to the city attractions.

One set of restrooms closed, other restroom not up to KOA standards. Garage in fire ring, only one person in office, no one checking the grounds. Only gave a 2 because sites were flat and spacious. Otherwise would not recommend this CG.

The campsites are very nice. Loved the long cement pads and reasonable price.We stayed Memorial Weekend and could of used a pre-holiday mowing. The women showers could use a good power wash, they weren't bad but a strong power wash could do wonders.

Love the large sites. The campground is very clean and the staff is super friendly and helpful. They have a large dog park for your fur babies. Great place to stay and enjoy some of Dodge Cities history.

We had a lovely time. Concrete slab, level parking was great. The 3 drawbacks were 1) lack of shade trees and 2) True Dodge City aromas wafted in. e.g. There are a LOT of cows nearby. 3) Showers a tad challenging, couldn't adjust temperature, and had to keep pushing the button to restart water. We had a fun time visiting the museum, old train station, and taking the Trolley Tour.

Clean women's bathroom and showers. No shade at sites, rough gravel with weeds at site pad, train blowing whistle at 2 am. I would not stay here again.

There are no faucet adjustments in the men's room showers and the water got so hot it almost burned my skin.

Tried to reserve on phone call. They were unable to do this at that time. Was told they would have available site. They did. Season just started, dont know if this would have been a problem later in camping season. Otherwise it was fine.

We've stayed at the Dodge City KOA several times. The staff in the office has always been friendly, professional, and helpful. The RV park is clean and well maintained with level concrete pads (pull-thru & back-in), good 50 amp electric, good water pressure and decent Wi-Fi. It's a nice location to stay while taking in the sights around Dodge City. We'll stay here again.
